What's the next colour in Vernis after apple red?

^^yep- Amarante :yes: It's a black cherry/ merlot type color that can look black or burgundy/purple. Some people have compared it to Chanel's "Vamp" color nail polish.

It's in the look book if you have a chance to see one. I think it isn't quite vamp, in the pic it looked more maroon--but that could've just been the printing.
