Have you read his book?
He's not the most introspective guy, IMO, otherwise I think he would understand cause & effect a bit more. And he almost seems caught by surprise when he becomes an addict, or his band mates turn on him, or a marriage fails.
But there's something rather endearing about this guy and I now look forward to tuning into an episode of "American Idol" just to hear the lunacy come out of his mouth.

it's been on like 10 times since, it will come around again.

it was really good. I'm never been a fan or anything and I was intrigued. and it made me want to get a lake house in new hampshire.
