Home & Garden tPF Christmas tree thread!! :)

I've a 7' artificial tree bought many moons ago (my poor old vacuum cleaner burst it's bag with pine needles when I had a real tree, lol!), so it looks pretty much the same every year. I'm not really into having a 'tasteful' or themed tree, I'm pretty much into an over-the-top decorated tree with a mix of old and new. I've got fairies and elves on there that I remember as a kid and Christmas just wouldn't feel the same without them!

It's not going up until the second week in December though, but I might go looking for a couple more decorations before then....

My tree is up my tree is up!

I need to get photos online when I get off work, but my camera is broken. So you guys will have to settle with temp phone photos.

Only two broken ornaments, (one is fixable with glue, the other was a flimsy replaceable snowflake I used as filler), and one missing ornament from my childhood that me and my mom fight over every year (so I know exactly where that little bugger is!! My sneaky mother stole it back, LOL)

The only bad part is that I had to use my old tree, as my big one was buried in the attic when the roof was redone.

^^ I'd put someone up in that attic and wouldn't let them out unless they emerge with that tree!!! :xtree: Can't wait to see photos.

Me and my dad tried! The only reason he got out of that attic without the tree is that he sensed the desperation and "turned his head" when I snatched some of my mom's decorations that I've had my eyes on.

The best part was that I didn't know she had gotten my ornament (it's whereabouts have been confirmed) when I did that... can't you feel the decorating love in my family??? LOL

I can't wait to put my Christmas tree up. It's so hot in my apartment (management controls heat), so I have to wait until a few weeks before Christmas to put it up. Last year DH put the tree up around this time and it died right before Christmas

The trees look great! What a fun thread.

Here are a couple pictures of our tree this year. I put it up last weekend. Couldn't help myself, something about relaxing in front of the Christmas tree, just melts all my stress away.

you have a very elegant tree! I love all the red, & the narrowness of your tree.
