Hi, All,

I'm going home to Michigan next week and was hoping to hit up some consignment stores looking for deals, but it occurred to me that I have NO IDEA where to start! (Now, I can tell you where the best used bookstores are, but beyond that, I'm lost.) I did a quick search in this sub-forum but didn't see what I was looking for. Can anyone recommend a place? Wayne, Washtenaw, and Oakland counties are preferred. Macomb, Monroe, and Livingston counties are also within striking distance, if the shop is particularly good.

Thanks in advance!

One of our local news station compiled a list of the best consignment shops voted by the people

*SIDE NOTE*
If you have a chance explore Detroit lots of museums/art galleries, restaurants, beautiful historical districts (Indian Village, Palmer Woods, Boston Edison), Riverfront, and many others.

Yes, I'm originally from the area and know my way around to the museums and such, but my shopping habits have traditionally tended toward mall stores (due to lack of funds for boutique shopping), so I would like to branch out a bit. Thanks for the suggestions!

I think you should seek out Ann's Fabulous Finds here:

Ann's Fabulous Finds
30150 Telegraph Rd Suite 114
Bingham Farms, MI 48025

I would looooooove to go there in person!!!!!! Seems like there are a lot of us that use her through her website: http://www.annsfabulousfinds.com

Oh, no way! I didn't know that's where Ann's was. I mean, I've seen their website, but it never occurred to me to look them up on a map. Well, now I know what I'm doing when I get home. Thanks so much!
