Hello to all my wonderful tPF'ers,

On one of my speedy tab theres this horrible white gash/mark

I didn't want to try an eraser because the bag is still new and the patina process hasn't started yet

Also, i don't know how it got there, i know it's not paint, it's not a mark from where you swing your bag against the wall - due to the fact i haven't taken my poor baby out yet. D:

Has anyone got a solution please?

It kinda looks like a scrape to me (from a fingernail or jewelry) I would just leave it alone.
PS: I think once it starts to patina, it won't show up.

Interesting thought. In my mind , if it's a finger scrape - it wouldn't turn out like that? I'm hoping it wouldn't show up once it starts the patina process & thank you

I wouldn't worry about it. Once patina starts to develop it'll blend in. Besides, it adds character to you bag kwim? Enjoy her to the fullest

Yep, just a scratch. When I have enamels, I leave scratch marks all over my bags. And I have a ton of them on the underside of my speedy handles because my diamond ring is always spun around, and I forget when I pick up speedy. They do blend in, eventually.
Don't get too stressed about it, they're bound to happen!

I agree. I understand how you are feeling, but enjoy your bag. Their imperfections are what make them perfect!
