Hehe, Stephen King, too with The Dark Tower Series. I read all seven books, they were a great escape, then came the ending...lame-o!

Yeah, that's the exact reaction I had to the book I mentioned in my opening post.Nicholas Sparks' latest, SAFE HAVEN. The ending left me saying, "WTF! You expect me to believe THAT?" It kinda ruined the book for me, which up until that point I thought was pretty good.
