I have been admiring the YSL ROADY FLAP BAG in black since it came out this fall. Are there any owners of this bag out there that can give me some feedback as to how easy it is use? Does it keep its shape? Overly heavy? Is the flap annoying to lift to get into the bag? I LOVE THE LOOK OF IT, and as some of you may know I am a big BV fan, but I am seeking a bag with more structure.. To me it has the look of an HERMES Kelly..Any thoughts or suggestions? TIA

How easy to use -- easy!
Keep its shapre -- yes, although it is a soft bag
Overly heavy -- it is lightweight
Flap annoying -- it hasn't been for me
It does have the look of a kelly, but a much softer look. The leather is beautiful, although there were some people the season before that had trouble with the same leather on the Besace.

in red it is just too perfectlol--you know I have too many bags! So these two just go into the rotation with the BV's. For the most part I switch out bags every Sunday night. Some bags make it into the rotation a lot more than the others and these two certainly fit that bill!
^It seemed to be produced in only limited quantities, because it was relatively hard to find one last fall even though it was quite popular. The rumor is that YSL is re-releasing the bag for this fall but I haven't seen any available yet.
I absolutely love this bag! I couldn't find it anywhere though so I really do hope they are re-releasing it this fall. It's the kind of bag that would look lovely in any color.
