Hi, all!!!

I've carried purses all my life, but I've just recently gotten 'into' handbags. I'm glad to have found your forum!

I watched 'Breakfast at Tiffany's" last night and was struck by Audrey Hepburn's purse. It was gorgeous black patent (maybe croc too??), with a snap top, and a gold chain. Can anyone tell me about that purse, and better, where can I get one just like it!!??

It is probably this one. Sorry, I don't know what it is. It would probably be hard to track one down since the film was made in 1961.

It looks like a Chanel to me, but I have no idea which style. Chain strap, mademoiselle lock. These things are very much a Chanel style.

I love that bag as well. I was thinking the same thing the first time I saw Breakfast at Tiffany's (about a year ago). It is a lovely bag, probably a vintage Chanel. You might be able to find it, but you would definitely pay for it. You could check the bay, but you'd pay a lot for it.
