Michelle, I think she is staying in New York:

NEW YORK, New York -- Mischa Barton's "The Beautiful Life: TBL" may be over, but the star said she's already looking at new projects following the cancellation of The CW freshman series.

"There's a bunch of projects I always wanted to make, so I'm going back to thinking about things again," she told the New York Post. "I just started looking at films."

And the star, who had a much-discussed breakdown and hospitalization in LA before she packed up her bags for the New York-based show, plans on sticking with the Big Apple.

"I grew up in the city, so there's a lot to love about it," she said. "All my close friends are here. I feel it's a fun city to lay low in and you get treated right."

"The Beautiful Life: TBL" lasted only two episodes, the first of the fall season's big debuts to come under the axe.

Mischa formerly starred on FOX's "The O.C." for three seasons as the troubled Marissa Cooper.

Brandon Davis calls Mischa a "heifer"

Brandon Davis -- who once crudely called Lindsay Lohan "fire crotch" -- is now going after his ex Mischa Barton.

After spotting her at a Nylon magazine bash in L.A. Wednesday, Davis (whose nickname is "Greasy Bear") Twittered: "Omg. Just realized my ex turned into 1 of the fattest people in the planet. I'm gonna start dating plus size models. Not! Mischa the heifer."

Barton, 24, has long been bullied for her weight.

Last year, she blogged: "One minute, I'm too fat, the next I'm too skinny."

Bloggers recently heckled her for exposing her tummy and wearing unflattering high-waisted "banana pants."

When photographers recently quizzed her about the getup, she laughed. "That was my Easter outfit," she told them. "You guys shouldn't be photographing me if you don't like what I wear!"

Davis: "I'm not to blame for the Mischa tweet"

Socialite BRANDON DAVIS has fired back at criticism he received for poking fun at ex-girlfriend MISCHA BARTON’s weight woes via Twitter.com, insisting the comments were not his.

The actress was devastated after reading what appeared to be a cruel ‘tweet’ from her ex, but Davis claims he doesn’t even have a Twitter.com account - and the taunting had nothing to do with him.

The post read, “Omg (oh my God). Just realised my ex turned in to 1 of the fattest people on the planet. I’m gonna start dating plus size models. Not! Mischa the Hefer (sic).”

Outraged Davis has since reached out to U.S. weekly magazine In Touch in a bid to clear his name.

He tells the publication, “I would never say anything nasty about Mischa, especially about her weight. I am p**sed that someone stole my identity and started Twittering things.”
