Beverly Clutch with Silver Sandals?

I have a new dress which am planning to wear to a party tomorrow. It's bright/colbalt blue, with a red & white design on one side of the front (the dress is a retro-style). Question: silver sandals look the best with this shade of blue, along with the red & white design. My dress is slightly casual so to dress it up, I would like to use a clutch and of course my Beverly comes to mind. But the Beverly has a largish brass clip - do you think it would clash too much with the outfit/shoes or do you think those days of matching shoes & bag are over? Thanks everyone!

well as i imagined it ,to me it seems a little bit ulgy Yeah these days for me matching shoes and bags is a clash but you can allways match this dress with the kate clutch and a pair of red heels !!! what do you think ?

ITA. I think it'll look fine. I wear silver sandals with my Chanel bag which has a gold chain ...I say go for it!

Hard to tell without a photo, but if it helps, I wouldn't hesitate to mix metals.
