Gold Rolex or Chanel j12 with diamond markers?

Which one do you think will complement your wardrobe better? If this will be your first major watch purchase, I would go with the Rolex. I have had my white gold one for several years and I'm very happy with it. It will never go out of style.
I've also been contemplating the j12 with the diamond markers--this is a departure from my usual style but I really like it. That said, I think the j12 is a more trendy watch so it would be more appropriate as a subsequent purchase.

I really dont wear watches! I want to try one though. I want a rolex but the one I want is wayyyyyyyyyyy out of my price range. I know there are cheaper models. I think the larger J12's are trendy. I think the 33mm will stick around a while. I need to price the rolex . I want a yellow gold one.
I know!!! I used to love the white but love the black now. I want it with gold and not silver. LOL
