What is the best waterproofing treatment for the vachetta on my MC Keepall 45?

The trim on my keepall is still pretty light and i'd love to keep it that way.What do you all suggest I use to keep dirt and those terrible water spots off of it but still keep the vachetta light?

If you come up with an answer to keeping the vachetta light, please let me know!! I've never been able to keep it as pristine and light as the day I purchased my pieces. A good leather waterproofing spray will help prevent water spots. GL!! For cleaning, I use saddle soap and a clean white cloth.
