Thoughts on a ChanelJ12 watch for hubby?

I was wondering what you guys think to give a Chanel J12 black ceramic (plain) watch for a man? I love it for women... Not sure if it's too girly.

I'm trying to decide whether to get it for my hubby.

Or do you have any other ideas? He's pretty picky.

I think a lot depends on him, is he a sporty knock about guy? If so, he might break it. Is he more of an outdoor guy or indoor guy?

I'd be concerned he might think its not manly enough b.c it says "chanel". But you know him best.

The J12 Superlaggera (black and silver version) was designed for men and has been advertised in several men's magazines (GQ, Details, Esquire, etc.) and looks as masculine as any other men's watch- you might want to go for that one

my husband has the superlaggera and he loves it. He is very picky and doesn't like chanel but he loved that watch when he saw it... He wears it more than his rolex now.

hhhmmm a J12 for a guy? My fiancee loves watches but I doubt he would wear a J12. He loves his Panerai that I bought him. They say Panerai is the next step after a Rolex in a watch collector's collection. It is definitely a manly watch! OOoooh I just thought of something if you buy him a J12 then you could use it too!

I agree...The J12 Supperlaggera would be perfect for a man. You really have to look at the face, like super up close to know that it is Chanel..It's very well made, and only $6100!! ..I tried it on the other day, and it is waaaay too big for my little tiny wrist...

I think it would be a really nice gift. My husband and his close guy friend both like them. But he does prefer his Brightlin (sp?).
