Hi Everyone!
I have a white Chanel bag with black straps. My first Chanel bag... I had no idea that the dye from the black straps would transfer and stain my white bag!

Does anyone know how to remove the dye transfer stain? It has been sitting pretty much all winter, so it will probably be tough to remove. Is there any hope though?

Thanks!

Bring it to Chanel or maybe try a leather conditioner like Meltonian leather lotion. I used it to clean my pink jumbo after I got a bit of colour transfer from a black sweater. Of course, test a tiny part of the bottom or back first!

It's the white cambon with black straps, right? Try the Meltonian leather cleaner/conditioner and if it doesn't work, take it to Chanel. Did you buy it from the boutique?

Yes, you're right it's white cambon with black straps. I really love it too - such a cute purse!

Thanks so much for your replies... I think I'll try the Meltonian leather cleaner/conditioner on it and see if it will work... fingers crossed! :o)
