going to LAS VEGAS -- any shopping suggestions?

I just got back from Vegas so as a matter of fact I do have some suggestions.

On a tight budget then read on.

Hit the outlet stores. When I was there Coach outlet had some amazing deals. I never hit the Primm outlets but I plan to next time I go back.

Some good consignment stores include:

Refinery, Celebrity Resale Boutique - so much designer stuff there you'll get dizzy! Mostly fair prices, some deals in shoes of course none my size, the clothes might be a bit too pricey.

Ritzy Rags Designer Boutique - one of the best I found. It's nicely organized and it will be one of the first I hit when I go back.

Buffalo Exchange - more for teenagers but they do have some nice stuff. I found some coach shoes and they had a marc jacobs bag for $350 which is a good price.

Stay away from the Goodwills. They were dirty and your not missing much. The Savers are nice but watch for fakes. I found a Prada bag on the Salvation Army on Charleston street (amazed I remember the street).

If you want to see the stuff I found it's on my blog (link on bottom right of sig). Good luck and have fun.

The Outlets at Vegas are amazing. Be sure to hit a couple of them while you're there. The Coach outlet there has some good deals the last time I was there (which was around the holidays, and was severely packed!), they also have Juicy, Lacoste, etc. It's a nice place to visit and window shop!

I would probably recommend the Fashion Show Mall too, just to check out the place and just window shop (it's rather huge, so it might be worth checking out). Have fun! I'm going there myself again, this summer.

Here's a shopping guide I pulled together in 2008 and placed in the Ultimate TPF Meet 09 thread. Some of the links might not work now because the resorts have updated their websites, but it should be enough to give you an idea. Encore did not exist at the time, but I know Hermes and Chanel are there. Town Square Mall has added more stores as well. Have fun.

This is so exciting! I tried to put together a list of places tpf'ers might be interested in. I'm sure I've missed some, but this should be enough to get our pulses racing by next year! Enjoy!

Spielberg1, when are you going to Vegas? I'm going next Thursday for a wedding! Maybe I'll see you there, ha?!?!?!

Anyone know which outlet mall has the Saks off fifth?

omg awesome!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you're window shopping, I highly recommend the Barneys at the Palazzo. The store is gorgeous. The shoe department has EVERYTHING - CL, Choos, and Manolos galore. They had a very good selection of Balenciaga last time I was there. I also recommend the Sephora at the Venetian. The store is huge. When I went alone during the weekday, there was nobody there and the SA was actually super helpful in making recommendationss.

If you have a car, I highly recommend the outlet mall in Primm. (Actually there's a shuttle that takes you there too.) The Last Call there is awesome- I've seen Balenciaga and Prada bags there. I bought 2 pairs of Tory Burch shoes last time for $120!! There is a Tod's store, AG, William Sonoma, Nike, and more.

We were there in November and shopped at the Forum Shops at Ceasars Palace. We are going again in May (this time college age daughter is joining us) and I was thinking she might enjoy Las Vegas Premium outlets.

Tell me about your favorite places to shop in Las Vegas. Thanks!!

Fran

The Forum Shops are nice. Isn't there a mall across from Wyatt hotel? I don't think it was the Forum Shops but it had some nice shops. The Venetian has some nice shops also. It's been a few years since I've been there.
