Chanel bag chain

Hi- I wanted to find out if there are any bags currently new that still come with the all gold chain like in this photo, or if this is from a certain timeframe. If it’s only vintage, what ages and bags did this come on. Was it only in gold? Did it come in silver too? I love the look so I want to figure out for my first Chanel bag purchase.
Thank you for your help!

Hardware on my new baguette.

I just bought the baguette in black leather and also commented on the hardware. The SA showed me that they’re all a slightly ‘worn’ finish. They do look gently marked. Even the hardware on the sides was the same.
Thanks @Cookie18 am really lusting over black nappa baguette but scared as it might be too soft and wont wear well ..

20b green - comparison 18s

Do you have a photo of the 20b under normal lighting? Curious to see how it compares to 19b green... I love the hunter green look.
Hi I ended up returning it. It is nice and I might have kept the regular size but our country didn’t get that.
The colour is like a true green but not emerald like 18s. It’s a flat colour if that makes sense. Not deep or iridescent just true. Pictures are difficult to capture it properly.

Which shoe for fall!?

Unfortunately, the Castaner pair that I own had sub-standard quality, the jute has loosen and end is sticking out. A tiny hole appearing on my toe area too.

I’m sure designer quality is way better.

Chanel, YSL, Hermes and Castañer all use the same jute. It isn't a particularly durable material and is a "peasant" shoe for all intents and purposes. They are comfortable and light weight but are prone to the issues that you mentioned above.

Enlighten me

Hello everyone! I recently saw Chanel bags selling online. I was uncertain because i dont know if Chanel has changed their leather tabs where the stickers are placed. Ive seen older series but leather tab has corners. But some i see, the leather tabs are rounded. Picture comparison below9580EB28-E936-425A-B7B0-DFCC921DC3C2.jpeg

Vintage Chanel jackets restoration

Hi ladies! I have few vintage Chanel jackets with some typical flaws like armpit staining, lining rips, small snags and loose buttons. I'm looking for restoration specialist who is familiar with Chanel RTW and can make highest quality repairs using the same techniques (same stitching, putting buttons the same way as Chanel does, etc). I"ll be grateful for any recommendations

It might be worth contacting your local store, they might know competent pattern-makers/tailors/seamstresses in your area that would have the required know-how.
