Louis Vuitton unable to do repairs. How to get store credit?

Why would they issue store credit? Why would you ask for it? I honestly don’t understand.
I’m not sure that LV ever had a blanket, lifetime guarantee like this (similar to LLBean), but
Even if it did, the damage that was done is not manufacture defect.

By the way, I don’t have the greatest experience with LV repair either.
LV was unable to help me with a raincoat/mackintosh whose pocket came undone.
And, i was willing to pay for the repair and I took it in the season after purchase (same year)
Since they couldn’t even refer me to a third party professional to handle the repair,
I simply stopped buying LV.

ETA: many boutiques are reticent when it comes to repair or replacement bc some bags are eBay finds and
Not brought in by the original owner. While that may not be the case here, it’s pretty clear that LV was not at fault.
LV may also simply not have the materials to repair a limited edition 14 years afterwards. Kind of like
A statute of limitations / past warranty period. . .

Dooney Sent Me A Lemon Of A Handbag

Thank you. And is the bag heavy? (even though I know it's little.)
I just pulled out the two I purchased. The color was difficult to capture accurately.

My apologies, I wash, chop and steam veggies for the week and I was in the middle of this when I looked in for a moment on PF D&B.

The florentine baguette will only carry my essentials: a full-sized Dooney wallet or credit card case, a D&B kiss-lock (I use for cosmetics) with smaller bags, keys and phone. The D&B standard cosmetic case is probably too big.

I wanted a couple of small, casual florentine bags I could carry for very casual wear. Ten years ago I didn't like puffer jackets, and ended up with several, after seeing how practical; with a bit of style, if you choose carefully for your body type. The florentine baguette goes great with this type of casual look and I plan on purchasing one or two more of these bags.

Here are a couple of pics. The colors are a couple of shades darker than shown in the pictures.

Dark red wine vs. Grenade color

Extremely humid where I live so I will have to look into that. Very little experience with patent handbags. Only have 1 old Valentino one which did have issues in time but again, oldee old and very different style than the 5 a 7 bags. I do have 2 Prada spazzolatto bags which look similar to patent and are fine, but I just googled and spazzolato not the same as patent.
Hopefully the bags we both have will be ok!

Buying designer purse for my daughter

They are in fact all different. My girls go into my handbag closet to claim "dibs" on who gets what when I die (slightly morbid, right? Lol) and this is pretty much the conversation:

Daughter #1: I get all the YSLs, all the Guccis, all the Louis Vuittons and the Balmains

Daughter #2: can I have the Dior with the butterflies

That being said daughter #1 is older (25) and had now bought herself her first luxury bag (a YSL). Maybe daughter # 2 will grow to like handbags when she gets older (God knows she grew up witness to my obsession).

I've tried buying her what I thought were more age appropriate brands in cute youthful styles like tory burch, coach ombre pillow tabby, Kate spade, but they all go unused.

Looking back, my mom bought me gucci and fendi bags when I was a young teen but I remember loving and using!!! Sure wish i kept them as well those styles are coming back again.

Have you even asked your daughter if she likes or has any interest in the bag?

Decided to do something different for the first time, new hairstyle

I went for a hair color appointment last week and told my hairdresser I was toying with the idea of cutting my hair (now about bra strap length) to shoulder length. She said she would leave it longer - just cut a few inches off and add layers. not doing anything yet. I think there is no question that my hair looks better from the back when it's longer. the question is would the shorter hair be more face flattering. I'm seeing so many celebs with the shorter hair.
Like Lisa Kudrow... obviously she has a totally different hair type from mine but I'm talking about the length

“INTO ARCHIVE” Do Not Recommend

I am an experienced collector who has had multiple negative experiences with the Company “Into Archive”. 1)Conditions misrepresented 2)Items sent late far after shipping times 3)Expensive purchases sent without any padding or proper boxes, 4)Purchase arrives with clear old damage which they run around 5)no working customer service text portal or live people 6)refuse to send return shipping labels to address self created problems professionally, expect customer to be damage by their negligence. My personal opinion is something is pear shaped with the business practices, I hope other collectors do not have the same experience.
