Hi everyone! I’m first time posting on this board though I’m an OG for 16+ years on Tpf. My eldest is graduating in 2026 and we want to gift him a Rolex, thinking about a yachtmaster or submariner… I honestly don’t know much about watches but I’ve heard it’s like playing the Hermes game: need to buy something else before they offer you one. I feel like everywhere I go (or people I talk to), they all treat me like a Chinese tourist, but I actually do live here, although my German is not so good. Would you know anyone who would be willing to work with me and don’t treat me like a reseller? (Nothing wrong with resellers but I’m not good with games anymore…)

i have the side trunk pm which has pretreated vachetta. i actually love the look of it and the feeling is great. i personally am still cautious with it because it is vachetta and can still get water stains and stuff. overall, i do like that it already has been evenly treated. plus, it's the perfect color. i don't know about it aging and getting darker, mines still looks like the same as the day i bought it. i prefer the treated vachetta to the untreated and wish they would include it it on more bags.

It was held in Beijing (China) and Taipei (Taiwan) before. My SA said Hong Kong should be the last stop.

I just saw this thread. Brahmin croc bags hold up extremely well. I have a couple Katies. They are great bags but not my favorite Brahmin shape. They are a bit narrow. They make more varieties of Katie than any other style it seems. I think I like Shayna a bit better as it is a bit wider.

I have a black-on-black YSL envelop bag. Got it in 2017 and still going strong.
Just FYI, the black paint will chip over time.
YSL generally has a 2 year warranty for repairs if bought in boutiques.
After that, cost of re-painting/re-plating is approximately $200 USD depending on how much work needs to be done.

While I do not have the Niki I know it is a big favorite, heard it is very durable and versatile.

Thank you for responding! I did try, but inevitably the regular JUC slides over the bracelets. I may just have to alternate when I wear them.

Theres been a lot of controversy surrounding Aupen and I took the chance and ordered one of the new leather bags. From what I can see a lot of the issues come from people being unhappy that they paid 350USD for pleather. The one I received is nice quality, it’s a cute unique design and I’m going to get a ton of wear out of it
