Speedy help: Speedy B 35 vs 40

Today I thought I make a sunshine stroll and went into the Louis Vuitton store inside another big department store in my city and they had a Speedy B35 in stock for me to look at and compare to my Speedy B30. I am astonished at how much more space it has. Not sure if it is enough for my needs, but it may be sufficient, but still be tight. Good thing is it does not look much bigger worn than my Speedy B30.

I am still torn. Speedy 40 will be probably much larger, means also looks larger on my 5“2‘ frame… I think I would prefer the 35, but it would be really a pity if it would be the third fail after the too small Keepall 35 and the too big Keepall 45. Haha luxury problems…

Help Identifying This Céline Bag - Vintage Model?

Hello everyone,
I recently came across this Céline bag and would love your help identifying its specific model and collection. It features a camel tan leather body with black leather trim, a black adjustable strap, and the classic Céline logo plaque on the front. It also has the number “102” stamped on the strap.
Despite extensive research, I haven’t been able to find this exact color combination or style anywhere online. Could this be a vintage or limited-edition piece? Any information about its name, year, or collection would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your expertise!

CNY 2025 Capsule Collection

More pics of the cloud Flamenco, now with black/grey snake charm. Had to add the sky blue flower dice whilst I was at the Paris Montaigne boutique; the colour is so cheerful. I also checked out the kiosks at Bon Marché and Printemps, and it looks like they still have stock for some pieces in the CNY collection (round green snake bag, white and blue medium Flamenco Purse, the python Flamencos, the cloud zip cardholder, etc).

The Flamenco was perfect for walking around Paris. It feels like it weighs nothing, stays put at the front of the body, and it’s dead easy to get stuff in and out. Brilliant little bag. Added an obligatory ultra touristy ‘Loewe in action’ snap in front of Notre Dame

Mini Kelly Question and Color Transfer on White

I'm assuming you're talking about MKII and not Kelly Pochette which is also called Kelly Mini.

I have a MK in nata in epsom - no experience with color transfer after almost a year. the strap that comes with MK is short (I think 85cm?) if you try to wear cross body so that's why it's more unlikely to have color transfer (my experience w color transfer on bags is usually jeans with longer straps). the only time I've gotten color transfer on any H leather to-date is via a yellow swift leather strap while wearing a black top in miami humidity/heat and the top rubbed against the back of the strap and got a kind of blackish-blue stain on the back.

There's lots of videos online about what fits in a MK so you should watch those. I carry my phone, calvi wallet, keys and airpods and sometimes a lip balm. I'm not really sure why people get bag inserts for MK since it's so small already - fishing for so few items is not hard and MK is sellier so it won't sag.

Cartier Love vs tennis bracelet for my first luxury piece?

Love bracelet for sure! You said your look is casual & simple so this will fit right in and you'll never want to take it off. It sort of just becomes a part of you. I have worn mine for years, only taking it off for surgeries, and it is SO comfortable that you forget it's there. It is thick & strong so it won't get bent or broken. And, everybody else is correct that you should get it first bc of price increases. A tennis bracelet is dainty, and because the gold links are held together by very thin gold wires, can easily loosen and/or get ripped off during daily wear.

Anyone bought from Chloe & Eddie consignment store in Melbourne?

hi, i'm interested in making a purchase from this store, but i wanted to hear about your experience with their authentication process first. can you confirm whether the bags they sell are 100% authentic? i'm a bit cautious after having a bad experience with vestiaire collective, where i unknowingly purchased a counterfeit item
They are. All their bags come with an Entrupy certificate and an authenticity, money back, guarantee.

Horsebit bag

Another good comparison! It's basically a cartridge bag. I love the Bobby but never bought it, the logo seemed too obvious for me to feel comfortable for everyday. Now I look at it, it doesn't seem that obvious, but it's a hard bag to just turnaround. The buckle fastenings are a really nice touch.

There is a Horsebit 1955 with the rounded bottom, it's closer to the Bobby/cartridge shape. I tried it along with the Small Horsebit. My friend I preferred the different shapes on me so I didn't get anything on that occasion. I still like my 25cm best. I can use the bag all day long, a smaller bag would mean carrying 2 bags.

I hear that they are discontinuing he Bobby(?) Gucci seem to be only stocking the classic colours of the 25cm too. I wouldn't mind another classic bag like either. It's make yer mind up time for both of us.

If you can try the Bobby and the Horsebit 1955 on the same day, it's worth it.
Interesting, hmm. I went to both stores in Vegas and actually both of them didn’t seem like the logo was in your face, which I liked. The SA at Dior did not mention the Bobby being discontinued.

Cartier love bracelet VS VCA Guilloche

I have two loves, and just recently got the guilloche (this week it came in, yay!). It does seem delicate— so i am going to have to be very careful with it, as compared to my loves that i never remove, and even go to the gym with. To answer your question, i guess if you want to get the most use, the love, if you want to have a flash piece of jewelry then the guilloche. I don’t wear my onyx a ton, but I absolutely love it, it is just on the delicate side and i just don’t think vca bracelets look nice when they’re all banged up. Ha

Does Hermes make a bag that will fit over the handles for a suitcase?

This is from the RMS luggage line.

The story behind
A phonetic reinterpretation of Hermès, the three letters R.M.S (Rolling Mobility Suitcase) represent a luggage line specifically designed for travel. The cabin-size suitcase combines different patented innovations, including the telescopic cane and the curved zipper. It combines both worlds of travel and skateboard with its leather corners from the Maison's traditional models, and its 4 ultra-mobile customizable wheels. In canvas and leather or full leather, its panels offer multiple color and design variations. Two travel bags complete this line: a 12-hour format and a weekend bag format, perfect for escaping to the suburbs or as far as you can imagine.

Which WG Trinity necklace?

This is a stunning piece, @CateMoss. I'm going to focus on the different effects of each version, rather than whether the baseless version might not sit flat.

If you can manage the expense of the diamond bale and lovely chain version, it seems to be more versatile. You could wear it both casual and dressy, with distinctly different vibes depending on how you're dressed. Before you make your decision, please think about whether you might regret going with the "baleless" version in the long run.
Thank you. These are excellent points. Putting price aside I definitely prefer the one with the bale.

Is this vintage flap worth the overhaul?

I would contact leather surgeons and get an estimate. It also depends on your intentions for buying the bag when you think about if it’s is worth it. Are you getting it because you love it or it’s a hard to find item or do you want to get it use it and rehome it at some point. Just things to consider
Agree with contacting leather surgeons. I've declined buying a bag due to their input after reviewing a reseller's website photos. I love that they are completely candid in whether a bag CAN be rehabbed at all. Do this ASAP because the bag itself is gorgeous and a great price point. But at some point it won't be worth the hassle.

Vintage Chanel - Leather Surgeons - Add or NO Pigment?

In your experience, how much change in color does just conditioning provide? The leather strap in the chain will definitely be replaced so I don't want too much of a mismatch in color of the bag vs the strap.
If I remember it correctly conditioning doesn't change the color at all. It just hydrates the leather so it may/maynot appear a little darker just because of that. You should really reach out to LS they are very nice and will answer whatever questions you have. I'd love to hear what you decide in the end.
