Hi all

I am an occasional Chanel shopper. Maybe a bag every year for the last couple of years and a pair of shoes and some costume jewellery. I am thinking of treating myself before the new year but is there any advantage to spending in a calendar year (not that I am every going to be a VIP) but just wondering. And does anyone know the same for Cartier ?

I love the JUC with the diamond detail. I am definitely going to make a proper diamond bangle to go with the panthere but really attached to doing a second cartier. I was also wondering about how VCA would stack with as well! We have the same taste.

The newer editions have a copyright in the top right corner. The 1957 has no copyright. So if your scarf has no copyright, it is the original, and I'd be curious to know the colors. Other possible original issues are khaki border, turquoise ribbon, ivory ground; and a beige verision. I used to be able to look up this information on the luxury-scarves.com website, but it's database appears to have disappeared.

Fyi the chain is removable on the Gaby, too. Size of bags is similar but Gaby twice as deep as the Cassandra. Lambskin vs. Calfskin explains price difference but you should also consider durability. Personally, I don't love the shape of the Gaby and while I love the quilted look on large bags like the icare, I'm not dazzle by it on this tiny bag. I think the Cassandre is maybe slightly less "luxe" but is clean looking, more durable and practically half the price. Also comes in more color choices. Not sure what kind of phone ir key fob you have but could be tricky trying to fit everything. Just my 2 cents, I don't own either.

Hey all! I didn’t want to post in the Murakami thread about something that’s not Murakami but I saw Val posted this bag in navy and wanted to know if anyone knows if it’s coming in an on the go pm? TIA

I don’t have a style vision nor plan per se, but I just have gotten to the point where I:

• Put comfort and being able to move about without worrying if anything gapes/runs/slips etc first
• Maximize what I own (and to me this translates to repeatedly using my items in classic colors & cuts) vs go with trends
• Maintain a wardrobe collection that does not give me decision fatigue
• Do not shy away from unexpected prints/colors from time to time
• Look at “what’s in” for the season, and enjoy the process without having to buy anything (used to succumb to buying a lot before)

I’m not a big fan of VCA stacked with Love bracelets and although I have a Vintage Alhambra bracelet in onyx I hardly ever wear them together. I find the chain passes underneath/over the Love and looks messy and chaotic.

The JUC looks great with the Love, but I prefer the regular size JUC to the small with the regular sized Love. The proportions work better together, ditto the small Love and small JUC. I don’t have a JUC at the moment but this is probably my favourite option of the ones you have listed, followed by the Clash.

I have a Serpenti bangle in the Demi pave and actually really like the combination together with the Love or worn on its own.

Hi there! I’m a huge YSL fan and I’m thinking about adding a Solferino to my collection. The only thing that gives me pause is the slide lock closure. Is it annoying to get in and out of the bag with this particular closure? Does it take two hands to close the bag? This is important to me bc I end up not using my bags that have more complicated closures (even snap button closures are annoying/difficult for me to match up to the right spot and close). Thank you!

No, I don't think so.

The first one is very pretty, more like jewellery, and the second is plainer and more crisp with one tone of colours and could be used for more casual/non-formal occasions as well as formally.

I don't get much use of my black cf either, I have never been able to feel comfortable wearing it casually because I find it too fancy. However I use my black woc and black mini all the time. Now that I think about it, I do use my beige cf often, so perhaps it's the black color in the CF size that makes it feel too formal. Also, I picked small over medium, the medium looks even more formal on my petite frame. It's possible that the size and color combination are not working for you, sell it and get what suits you best.

I ordered it in creme to see it as couldn't see it instore, planned on leaving it back. However I couldn't part with it. It's so cute. It is small and I can get my cards into it via their card slots, my phone and LV cles and car fob.
Depends on what you are looking for it to hold and use it for. It will hold the essentials.

So I've been on a very long hunt for a classic camera bag that can be used for running weekend errands, throw on for school pick ups, etc.
As much as I love my Chanel WOC it feels a bit too dressy sometimes, and the Lululemon belt bag sometimes feels too casual.

Nothing's been really catching my eye until I noticed that LV is reissuing the Trocadero in a "wearable wallet" size!
It says here in Canada that it's "pre-order" only, but has anyone seen it, or any other info?

Anyone else as excited as me for this?

wrong thread pls delete

Hi, I received this Givenchy shoulder bag as a gift but I absolutely cannot work out how the tag bit should be attached because it just hangs down! I have searched and searched online but haven’t been able to locate this bag. It has 2 sets of poppers and they are different widths apart so the left must attach to the left and right to the right. There is 1 loop at the bottom of the bag only hence why it hangs down.

My assumption is it’s real and vintage but can’t be 100% sure. If anyone could tell me how to wear this I would be super grateful because it just hangs down at the moment!
