Question Regarding S-lock For PM East West

I went to the LV boutique and the CA and manager were very kind and open about my query with the s-lock concern/issue. The CA brought out a sample store handbag with s-lock and the lock did open easily when I brushed my hand across. There is nothing wrong with the lock itself, this is how the s-lock operates. You do not need to hold both buttons in order for the clasp to open. (one button is stationary) The manager commented that she is happy to have the lock changed again, but ultimately will not make a difference-- perhaps handbags with the s-lock feature do not work for me and to keep that in mind for future purchases.

I did get it!! In fact I got more than one LOL..and I did use Bababebi to authenticate my purchases! She is absolutely wonderful and I am so thankful for her expertise and experience. It put my mind at ease and now I can just enjoy my new to me purchases. Also I would recommend 7RP for sure for your inserts. While expensive they are worth it to protect you bags for many years to come. I have used them before for other handbags I have and they are really worth the investment. Plus I use them in my other handbags too. It makes transferring to other bags so easy, I use the same insert and just change bags.

Using Paris SA from USA

Mods please move if there is a better place for this thread, but I couldn’t find anything in the search!

Does anyone in the US (or outside of Europe) have experience ordering through a Paris based SA/boutique and shipping to your home? When I was in Paris last year I met a great SA and he mentioned I could shop remotely with him. I believe he even mentioned I would be eligible for the VAT refund even with remote purchases. I can’t find any confirmation of that around the forum or on the web, so curious if other have done this? If so do you get the usual 12% back? What are shipping and import duties like? I’d love to take advantage of the “buy 1 get 1 half off” Paris pricing vs US if possible :biggrin:

Straps with buckles to attach the strap thru the D rings and straps with dog clips.
And some non removeable straps even tho they look like they should be removeable.

The truth is, I hate the strap the more I look at it. It's too busy for me. If D&B made it with a basic strap it would be a winner. This strap has not grown on me. I removed the plastic because I thought it was a keeper and I try to return in pristine condition. I think I'll look to see if anyone on eBay is selling extra straps in black that might work. My only black bags are Alto.

Leason learned, if the pics aren't clear, I will not buy.

Hello!If you need new straps for the Note bag try looking in stores that sell add-ons. They have straps in many colors and stuff that can fit your look. Also check Etsy; they often have cool straps with no logos.Plus, think about straps from other brands that look simple. You might get lucky at second-hand stores too. Hope you find what you need! :)

Maggie is the smallest, Helen is the middle size, duffle sac is the biggest. My personal favorite is Helen but lots of people like the duffle sac.
Here is a catalog picture comparing Maggie to the duffle sac. One of the things that makes the duffle sac so big is that it is 9 inches deep across the bottom. The Maggie and Helen can be worn crossbody but the duffle sac has a shorter handle.

Sweet Alhambra 16 motif + 6 motif

I love this as an idea and got the 6 motif awhile back just so that I could double the 16 motif without having to unclasp it. I found that after a couple of hours one strand became very short like a choker and the other strand got very long. Does this happen to anyone else? It doesn’t happen to me with the vintage size when doubled, but I assumed that was because the vintage has a little more weight to it and can stay in place better.
