I was in the ladies’ room of a restaurant in Greenwich Village wearing a black/black Artois MM. The woman in front of me says, “I’m probably twice your age, but what is it about THAT bag? I see it everywhere.”

I explain it’s Goyard. She responds, “Oh, I know. I just see it everywhere. In every color of the rainbow. I’ve been wearing Louis Vuitton since I’m 20 in the 80s and have a Neverfull in every size, but what is it about THAT bag?”

I joked that if we had thought up these bags we’d be rich. She concluded, “That’s it. I’m making a bag called the West Village Bag.”

I enjoyed this exchange thoroughly. I also have to add that the only reason I sold my Neverfull and switched to Goyard and the Artois is because the Artois has a zipper. (Although I confess I’m now addicted to all the Goyard color options.) There’s room in the world for all bags, folks!

I vote 20-motif. I think I’m naturally like you where I have a favorite type of (jewelry or bag) and keep buying that same type of item over and over. And I totally relate to having your heart set on something and getting fixated on it even if you’ve kept making purchases to “scratch the itch” but it never did. Buuuuut I’ve had to curtail that because I end up not giving my pieces enough wear then, since there’s too many of the same things. Buy a 20 motif that you can enjoy WITH one of your lovely pairs of earrings, rather than another that competes with them for wear time!

I love mine. I find them super classic but the hardware knot might be a problem in a few years time...

Just polish gently with a clean. soft cloth. If you don't use any chemicals or abrasives on it shouldn't tarnish, corrode or scratch.

If you need to eke out dust or dirt that many collect around it, use a very soft, new toothbrush - and still be gentle.

The white mini! I got it to take to the Kentucky Derby, and I am not sure which dresses I’m taking, the white will match them all!

Hello, I’m considering on getting the malachite alhambra pendant but I’m a bit scared on how delicate it is. I’m pretty good with taking care of my jewelry in general but so far I mainly have solid gold, gold with diamonds, and onyx pieces. I’ve been eyeing on the malachite and I wonder how your pieces has been holding up?

I can see it a little now from my computer. It's likely soiled from your fingers, I agree about trying to clean it with a q-tip.

I thought I had PayPal protection too till I was scammed out thousands dollars. I no longer use PayPal for their “protection “, I only use it when I send money to family & friends.

I’m looking at buying my first Fendi and looking at this wallet on the chain Baquette in this yellow color. Happy to wear pros and cons and how the Napa leather wears.

That’s so true - and I find it so strange that that’s the case. I wear bianco latte and love it but can barley smell it so when someone hugs me and says oh you smell like a cupcake I’m like oh it’s still on me ?

I have not gotten it yet. I got anther bug in my head. Now that I know I want serpenti pave in yellow gold, I started contemplating between serpenti or jeweled Rolex DD president 36 in yellow gold. I know they are very different and one does not substitute the other but I’m not sure which to buy first. Either one will get me on tight budget for about a year or two. Again, any opinion is greatly appreciated.

I think it's very well made so you've nothing to worry. I had one in yg with no diamonds and the chain felt very secure.

I probably wouldn't layer with it, I feel it's a stand alone piece, but hey maybe there is a combination out there which you could rock.

Not sure if this will give others hope or frustrate them (certainly not my intent), but I ordered mine on June 30th and it arrived yesterday. Was completely surprised to get the shipping notice email last week! I already have another Calvi and a Duo so it felt a little indulgent to order this one but I'm really happy with it. It's Bleu Nuit and Gold epsom.The Blue Nuit looks a little brighter/more vibrant in real life.
