I think if you want a pop colour, then the bright red would give you that. RH is very versatile, I have a couple of bags in this colour and it goes with so many things. RH tends to have a brownish undertone to my eyes, I love it so as it's the classic Hermes colour and because for me, it is a neutral.

Maybe think about if you bought a bag in another colour and then the Rouge H of your dreams came along but you could no longer make it happen...How would you feel?

You are right! Thank you for the insight, I feel that if I rushed my decision now and didn’t stick to my original plan, something came up later on I will definitely be very regretful with buyer’s remorse

You are awesome! Thank you so much for the info, I did reach out the FP about the color and they admit it was a mistake. The bag was Rouge Vif. It got sold however shortly after they fixed the color code. Definitely not meant to be

Sounds like you have decided to pass on the RC bag. FYI I have an Evelyn TPM in rouge casaque togo and I find it too bright even in such a small bag. But I prefer more neutral bags in general.

Agree! I feel that bright red definitely requires some great confidence to wear. I might enjoy looking at it but would hesitant to wear it out as a daily bag. Will be more of a special occasion bag to me.

Empreinte, I’ve had my noir Felicie for over 4 years and it still looks brand new. I purchased a short black leather strap from Etsy and it’s allowed the bag to go from day to evening.

Sizing is the same but the suede softens a little quicker than the regular leather

Hello, I was wondering which watch size you guys preferred and if anybody has mod shots?

I live in the US, and I booked a flight in August to hop across the pond to see this exhibition.
The V&A has a lot of great exhibitions (e.g. Pearls, Faberge), and before I go, I like to buy the exhibition book to review the pieces first. I can then have a better appreciation and understanding of the pieces when I see them live.

Also, as FYI, if you are a V&A member, you can see the exhibition for free, unlimited times, no reservation required. I am a member, and it makes getting into these exhibitions so much easier. It works out great.

Welcome my new NeoNoe bb in guimauve epi. Couldn’t believe 24s has this for $300 (US) less than the current canvas option! Surprisingly the strap is perfect for me to wear crossbody (yup, shortie here at 4’11” on a good day), and the color is a perfect neutral for spring and summer. I’m so excited to add this second epi bag to my collection (epi makes my heart sing!). Seems like the perfect size for my usual items plus a small bottle of water (or champagne ). My trip back to Ban Island is waaay overdue but I just couldn’t resist. Happy weekend everyone!

Hi! I wanted to ask how common is for the date codes to be misaligned as I bought a preloved Tivoli GM and noticed that the code is not aligned as it should normally. Is this something concerning in your opinion?

I'm a little further from my boutique. Technically, it could be a 35-40 minute drive but, it is downtown, so always quite variable. Then there is parking and walking a couple of short blocks. When I was getting started with VCA, I thought I would try out an alternate suburban location but, it is much smaller and even harder to get appointments when I was looking.

I ended up going with the Chanel 25 in small caviar, and I love it! It’s actually not too big at all—just the right size for everyday essentials without feeling overwhelming. I’m 5’0”, and it fits my frame really well. I tried on the medium first, but it felt too big for me, so the small was the perfect choice. If you’re considering it, I’d definitely recommend trying it on in person to see how it feels for you!

Hi ladies! It’s been awhile since I purchased a Chanel and this vintage baby caught my eye at a preloved showcase in Tokyo.

I only know that it’s a series 1 but no idea of its name and all. Grateful if anyone can shed light on this baby and how do you care for your beige / lighter coloured Chanels? Im usually dressed in darker colours like black and navy and am a little panaroid about colour transfers.

The YSL logo is actually one I like stylistically, but agree it's getting a bit overdone when it seems many of the new designs are simply plain bags with the logo screwed on them. I saw the Icare in real life for the first time recently and couldn't believe how massive the logo was!

I was thinking, though, if I ever found a YSL keyfob or charm preloved at a good price I would get it for my bucket, though the metal would probably scratch the leather.
