I have a mini gate dual and recently got the medium flamenco clutch, both are in Sand.

Haven’t had a chance to use my flamenco clutch yet but the mini gate dual is soft calfskin. There is this one fingernail scratch but barely noticeable.

I use my mini gate dual bag as a crossbody and have worn it with denim/dark coloured bottoms and tops - No colour transfer whatsoever but I do wear the bag pretty high so it doesn’t come in contact or rub against my bottoms too much.

Sand is a beautiful color and one of Loewe’s best color (imo).

I did a board search and I’ve seen Marla Aaron mentioned as the OG of this style jewelry, but it seems the consensus is her pieces are wayyyyy overpriced.

So, where are people finding similar style necklaces as her pieces? Specifically, the baby lock and “not so heavy curb chain”? I’m looking for at least gold fill…

Etsy searches bring up a TON of options… but it’s hard to sort through what’s legit and what’s drop shipped.

Hi i found a used tank where they claim its one of the last produce and it has the warranty card from the cartier store from 2023, has anyone got any of the last released tank to give me an idea of the starting numbers of ref #? This one starts with 31.. I’ve been trying to find a barely used gold stainless tank to add to my collection, thanks in advance.

Good to know! I think it will complement your other pieces very nicely.
As far as diamonds vs non-diamonds, I’ve heard no regrets (that I can recall) getting the version of anything WITH diamonds, but plenty of remorse on NOT getting diamonds.
Hmmm, maybe this should go on my wish list!

You’d be surprised at how durable those thin straps are! I carried mine on my shoulder (rarely cross body) and never had a strap break or fall apart

I did get the small one but I didn't like the size. Seemed small for me. So I returned it. Instead I bought the coach empire 35 caryall and it's beautiful 😍

Daniel Sandlers blush brush (Waterblush) is pretty good for liquid blushes, is not too expensive and is easily cleaned (imo)

Coastal couture - I think you are absolutely right that I am not used to wearing super tailored coats with shoulder pads and that’s why I felt awkward in it!

Its also a just heavy wool coat - I’m used to wearing a down jacket or lighter coats even in the middle of winter.

My sister came over yesterday so I showed her the coat and she thinks it’s perfect and any smaller wouldn’t fit right but she also tried it on and liked it so she’s going to wear the next few days and I will borrow and we will share ? Worked out

Like many have said before, it’s not you, it’s the low levels of inventory available. Covid changed everything and VCA has been unable to catch up with its inventory. Especially pieces that are popular. I have been waiting for the same earrings for the last 3 years and nothing in sight.

I guess patience is the name of the game.

Swift. For some lighter colors, members have posted that their Epsom takes on a two tone almost like dirt on the raised surface (photos on TPF show this issue and it does not seem to be light refraction)

While I have not experienced this on my craie, bleu orage, or etoupe Epsom, a smooth leather like swift would avoid this issue entirely.

If however you want a completely upright sellier type architectural look, swift is NOT one to choose. part of its beauty is that it relaxes into a smooshy puddle. The swift related leathers are the newer Jonathan and older Gulliver (as in Jonathan Swifts Gullivers travels). While I don’t have these newer or older leathers, members have indicated similar characteristics to swift.

Yes easily, but try H Spa first and let them know the source of the stain (oil, dirt etc)… I have my bags color corrected by @docride (presumably one could use a highly professional, trusted, and reputable third party leather restoration specialist) and spa-ed by H Spa.

For example, @docride lightened my gold swift handles back to normal which I don’t believe H spa will do and also cleaned up scuffs and scraped piping.

Having said that, common wisdom on TPF is NOT to have anything done to your bags from any outside third party if you want them guaranteed to be accepted to H Spa.

The one at the boutique was 38 and as with much of my H outerwear it was oversized. I could probably make it work but I wanted to try the 36 before committing. Most of my H outerwear is 36 and the one coat I purchased in a 38 is really too big.
It also comes in a beige color.

I'd respectfully suggest that you ask for this thread to be closed by the mods.
You've got the answer to your original question: try on the pieces when you get a chance and buy what you love, or go for an alternative 'edgy' look from an unbranded piece so that you don't worry about your pieces being recognizable.

I'm terribly sorry you feel so misunderstood and bullied. I don't believe that was anyone's intention, but it's hard when the basic premise of this topic is such a divisive one. Perhaps it's okay that not everyone gets your point of view. You explained it several times, so now let it go. Some people get what you meant and have said so, others don't and have also said so.
