Hi! We don't allow any discussion regarding authenticity outside the provided "Authenticate This" threads in each designer forum.
2 shoulder straps would wear better than this single strap that placed the side of the bag in such a large and squishy (and heavy) bag.I love the new options in monogram for the OnTheGo tote. I especially love the leather on the Organizer, which looks a little bigger than the MM. Has anyone seen them in person? What are your thoughts?
I love this! Thank you so much 😊I would suggest the blue topaz for 3 reasons:
1. The pale garnet color does not look like garnet. Garnet is usually deep red. This one looks either like a different stone or like it is faded.
2. You want something that will work year-round. The blue topaz is perfect for that. In summer it suggests cool blue waters and cloudless skies. While it is not a traditional autumn color, it is a beautiful accent to many of the colors one often wears in autumn. In winter it is perfect because it reads like ice-blue. In spring it is the color of soft rain and lovely new flowers.
3. Most importantly, it is the color you said you like best. Go for it!
Yes I would!! I haven’t seen very many on the preloved market. I had one in black.To-TangerineKandy-Do you think you would ever look for an excellent condition preloved Twinset?
Just curious if anyone has a "formula" for types of colors or how they incorporate color into their handbag collection.
I just feel like color has become very "trend" oriented. For example, over the past year or two, we see a lot of pastel colors. Even in the winter, people were wearing their rose darling/vert peppermint/etc. Or the heavy recent wave of Rouge H. I don't see many electric colors to be as popular as they once were. People used to rock bright red or bright green bags during any season. Particularly when it comes to QB, I worry to spend that much on a bag that I potentially wouldn't use.
For example - I know it isn't considered a QB in some stores, but I have a Vert Yucca C18 that I struggle to wear. Yet, I have so many friends who say green would be their #1 color and give so much praise to my purse. I like the bag plenty, but that shade of green isn't perfect to me (the way I find 5P to be a perfect pink or Bleu Frieda to be a perfect blue). I wonder if I did have a more "perfect to me" shade, if perhaps I'd wear it more often. I know a lot of it is personal style/lifestyle/location.
TLDR - How do you incorporate color into your handbag collection? Do you choose to stay towards pastels, jewel tones, electric colors, etc? How do you not succumb to what is "trendy" when it comes to shades of color? Do you first collect your personal version of neutrals?
Technically yes, the location is Puerto Banus, but the store called ‘Hermes Marbella’, I suppose for marketing reasonIsn't the store actually in Puerto Banus rather than Marbella itself?
Thank you! Sorry, I didn't get an alert about the response.Ferragamo does red really well. I don't have this particular bag so just speculating based on the info on the website. Its dimension 5.1"x8.6"x1.5" is a bit larger than LV Felicia Pochette 4.7"x8.3"x1.2". You should be able to fit long wallet and smart phone at least. Perhaps you can compare with your smaller bags, or make a mock up.
Unsung heroesThey weren’t famous people, but there were over 300 garment factory employees from Los Angeles Apparel who got Covid during the height of the pandemic and four of them died. The fashion industry wouldn’t exist without the people who make the clothes, even though it’s the designers get all the fame and money.
That blend is my go to for all tough stains. Baking soda oxiclean and Dawn is also a nice combo.I saw a video on you tube how to clean yellow stains under arms and it works! You take baking soda and dawn liquid detergent and some hydrogen peroxide, mix together, then with an old toothbrush, you brush into the fibers of the affected area. Let it sit for a couple hours, then wash. Tada!!

Seeing the Hardwear necklace on you has me sold. It is made for you. Love it!If i were I would definitely get the yellow gold graduated necklace (the big chunky version). I attached the pic of me trying it on in store. I’m 5’9, so I like big statement pieces, as far as my style, I’d say a bit preppy/feminine, always been a “girly girl” (why I love Chaumet so much). Some British inspiration, some western (I love Ralph Lauren). love Barbour jackets + floral dresses/silk dress+ cowboy boots etc. Lots of liberty/William morris prints. I do like some more sexy styles too though (figure hugging dresses). The main reason I thought I’d like it was Kelsey Meritt and Rosie H.Whiteley whose styles I love, I loved to see them wear it.
