Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2025

hi.. i looked at those. are they true to size and comfy?
The Converse?
They are not true to size. I wear 7s in Chuck Taylor’s. These are 8s. I’m a
7-1/2 in pretty much all of the Adidas fashion sneakers. The Converse website suggests sizing up. I would also say they run narrow.

I haven’t had a chance to wear them yet. Standing in front of my mirror, they’re comfy. But I sprayed them with protectant and they’re drying. They’re so cute though! I’ll wear them unless they make me bleed.

The Return of the Dragon!

I went to look at the rest of the photos, it's so beautiful and immaculate as you say. But in a way that's sad to have owned such an incredible piece and never wear it.

Very true. A lesson to us all.

It should go to the Gucci museum IMO. Gucci Museo won't pay that money though, for all their billions, Gucci don't spend proper money on their archive.

Has anyone had a bespoke watch strap made by Cartier?

The red or dark green sound right up my alley. I will have a look & see what they have. I did think about a third party site but as this is my first Cartier watch I think I'd like the actual Cartier strap. I've actually grown a bit more fond of the black one that came with the watch but I do think I would love the alligator strap more. Which boutique did you visit?
yeah, I think the alligator is prettier for sure! I went to the NYC 5th ave store - the SA pulled out a box of all the options so you could put it up against the watch to see how you like them.

Mini lady dior chain strap

Mine do not look like this. Are you able to bring it to a store and have them checked?
I might do that. But now that I am checking some other posts of mini LD chains, i am seeing that it’s very common problem (i am not sure) or maybe it’s normal. Attaching photos of two chains i found.

Sell Unbranded Diamond Bangle and Get Tiffany T Wire Bracelet?

It really is a beautifully made piece purchased from a trusted and reputable local jeweler. I've decided to keep it:-) This may sound funny, but I never thought to wear bracelets with long sleeves. I would definitely get use out of it wearing it with long-sleeve thin sweaters during the cooler months. Thank you for your valuable input!
I’m glad you decided to keep it. It’s a beautiful piece. Regarding long sleeves, I wear a lot of thin sweaters in the cooler months and I will sometimes fold back the sleeves (similar to cuffed jeans) by an inch or two and that allows me to see my watch and enjoy seeing my bracelets on my wrists.

Were Loewe bags always marked?

I recently purchased these bags at auction. They are unmarked. Historically, was there a time when Loewe bags were unmarked? The boxes these purses came in look quite vintage to me. Prior to when the L marks were designed. Your thoughts?

Need help deciding

So have you decided to keep the Seamaster? Of the ones pictured in your first post, I think the Omega Seamaster is the nicest, most classic. Not sure if it's an automatic or a quartz...if this matters to you? As long as you bought it from a reputable seller and it has its papers, I think it's a keeper.

But it is more of a sporty style than the others like the De Ville and Longines flagship. If you gravitate towards these more feminine styles, then definitely you need to follow your heart and let go of the Seamaster.

Then between the two in post #4...though they are a similar style, they are very different. To choose I think you need to answer these questions:

1) Do you prefer automatic or quartz? Pros/cons either way.
2) The difference between size 26 mm and 22 mm will be quite significant on the wrist. What is your wrist size? Do you want something more dainty and ladylike, or more bold?
3) Brand - Omega is considered more prestigious by watch "snobs" but Longines is also a very reputable brand, just a bit more under-the-radar.

Hope this helps!
Thank you for your help! I haven't decided yet if I'm keeping the Seamaster. I do like it but the only thing that is making me change my mind is the band I'm not sure if I like the style of it. The line of the gold with the silver in between. So I've been looking at others. I honestly don't mind either automatic or quartz. I don't own any automatic so maybe it would be nice to have one.

Pave Alhambra 10-Motif Is Here!!!

Now that I’ve had the necklace for a couple of weeks, I can say with some assurance that this is one of the best and easy to wear pieces I own. Most of the time, I wear it on its own.

I’ve tried it a few ways. Here are some pics:

Win: 10-motif Pavé, 20-motif Gray MOP
Win: 10-motif Pavé, 20-motif White MOP (this was a pleasant surprise)
OK: 10-motif Pavé, 10-motif blue agate.
OK Minus: 10-motif Pavé, White MOP Pure Alhambra.
Epic Fail: 10-motif Pavé, Magic Alhambra. (I thought it would look better. With the Magic doubled, it was too busy, with the magic long, the contrast in lengths was very off.
I actually loved the Magic the most because of the different size motifs. So playful and fun with simple white tshirt. It’s woul be like letting the Alhambra s decorate the shirt.

Bottega Veneta concert pouch

I’m using mine for travel right now and am finding if I unzip all the way the phone is easy to get in. It also takes a bit of arranging to figure out optimal storage. I am also seeing the bag soften making opening and closing it much easier.

The only downside I’m seeing is the beginning of scuffing on the base knots where the straps begin. I guess the friction around against my clothing or even the bag itself as I wear it is doing it.
