White gold every day necklace ideas?

If you would consider a smaller designer, look at Seal and Scribe:

She makes pieces from vintage intaglio seals. Any of them are available cast in solid gold. I have a beautiful 18k yellow gold seal necklace, and I just love it. She can do white gold or platinum as well. If you find one that speaks to you, it can be a meaningful piece.
Oh that's such a interesting unique idea, thank you

Ended up always gravitate to Balenciaga.

I needed a new backpack for office wear since my Gucci was torn beyond repair. Here

This time it have to be a leather. Saw one that caught my attention.

I just bought a new watch and was deciding to get this or those from cheaper brand like 28grams,Troubadour or Fossil, ( their Buckner backpack look very nice but for a Fossil it ain't cheap either ) but the advertisement bots are at it again and weeks later saw ******* selling this at almost 20% off rrp.

Just had to grab it.
Hope this last longer than that Gucci.

Pyraclou

Hi all,
I’ve been looking for a pair of nice platform sandals (like Hermes Jam 30) that would be comfortable for walking during vacations and came across this pair of Pyraclou sandals. I’ve never owned a pair of CL and my fancier shoes are from Tod’s. Any thoughts on the comfort and wear? I came across one post that stated the sandals got damaged after 4 wears but can’t find much else. Thank you in advance.View attachment 6184615
Totally not my style but if you find that there represend you, go ahead. I,m old fashion, with pointy toes and high heels, much more eye catching, more elegant and much, much sexy

Side Trunk GM?

Have you tried it on? I tried the PM and MM at the store and found the MM too big and boxy for my frame even though i love the slouchy look of it.
Haven’t tried the GM, and the two stores in my area that have it are still about 40-50 min on the subway for me. Since I have no need to be in those neighborhoods right now, I haven’t bothered to go yet. My main concern is the weight. I’ve stopped using a few of my bags because of how heavy they are.

I do own the MM size though, and I wish it were bigger. I have to carry my epipens and inhaler 99% of the time, so those three things alone add bulk and fill up bags for me pretty quickly.

Looking for a white purse: Lambskin vs Grain de Poudre

I think @papertiger and @880 have summed it up well - the GdP will be more hardwearing but may be more prone to yellow over a long time.

It sounds like you are leaning towards the lamb, tho, and I agree it is beautiful and more luxurious looking and feeling! I don't have experience with this particular bag in lambskin, and if you check forums it's all over the map with corner wear (some saying it's terrible and some saying they haven't had much of a problem). I have heard in general YSL lamb tends to wear better than some others, and I had a toy loulou in lamb that wore much better than I expected, even on the corners.

And if you are a bit of a DIYer and not afraid to try rehabbing, I think there are many things you can do to slow wear and/or minimize the look of it once it inevitably happens. For example, on my Balenciaga wallet, I put a thin layer of clear Fiebings Edge-Kote on the edges to give it some extra protection. Then once wear became obvious, I just dabbed with a bit of matching Angus leather paint and it was covered.

I understand when we pay so much for luxury products we want them to last and perform well, but at the end of the day all natural skins will wear over time. But I love being able to fix minor imperfections so that something classic like this will be used for a long time!

Modified chanel bag

I am considering purchasing a modified chanel bag. It was 2k. Her husband drilled a hole on each side to attach the strap. Do you think it affects the value of the bag? It was a vintage kelly. Is 2k a reasonable price? She said she bought it 4k and dropped it to 2k due to the modification
I'd never buy a chanel bag somebody drilled holes in it...

Calling all creative types - how can I use my unused Twillies as a cable sleeve?

I don’t mean to make light of the overheating and fire risks, I think that is largely a question of whether your electronics set up is safely done. My home office desk is similar to how you describe yours, with the channel in the back. And my equipment is iMac, home office printer, HomePod speaker, hard disc drive, charging station for mobile devices and UPS for the iMac, desk lamp and I have 2 power outlets for all this and probably more which were sized appropriately by our electricians. You get my drift.
Absolutely agree, I won’t be taking any chances here. In my case it is brand new power cables for the monitor and Mac mini plus a thunderbolt cable connecting the two (printer is in another location). All are brand new.
