Gorgeous pieces! Happy belated birthday.
Thank you!
Gorgeous pieces! Happy belated birthday.
Those leathers...Just in under the wire. Bordeaux Day (you’re still not off thehook on yours, Muchy) and very faded and beat up though still lovable very fonce city.
The leather on Bordeaux is like butter. It’s insane.
The VF was described as brown in the listing and the photos made it look brown, but it’s very clearly and unequivocally green, though faded.

I really like the collection you have.Hi everyone! I'm going to Japan soon and am planning on buying a pre-loved Chanel bag.
I have a small Chanel collection:
Black medium Reissue with gold hardware
Black Boy with Ruthenium hardware
Navy small Gabrielle
These days I lean towards more casual bags and my most used Chanel bag is the Gabrielle.
I have done some research (I know Japanese so have been browsing sites like Rakuten Japan and Yahoo Auction Japan) and I have found some bags I'm interested in but due to limited funds I can only get one of the following bags:
Chanel 19 in black with gold HW (lamb skin) - I'm a little obsessed with the 19. It looks very functional and is the last bag that Karl Lagerfeld designed.
Rectangular mini pearl crush in light grey with gold HW (lamb skin)
Rectangular mini in navy blue with silver HW (lamb skin)
Rectangular mini in red with silver HW (Caviar leather)
Square mini in navy blue with silver HW (Caviar leather)
Business Affinity in light blue with gold HW (Caviar leather)
Black Lucky Charm Reissue WOC
Thank you
Oh no definitely don't do that trade pleaseYou guys are SO helpful, thank you! I knew I could trust your honest feedback. Having read through your replies you’ve confirmed by doubts so I’ve decided against purchasing. What I also didn’t say was I’d be exchanging my JLC for this watch which on balance is simply not an equitable trade. Huge thanks again, I will be patient and keep looking. X
The Khaki green is gorgeous, I have it. I posted a thread "My first Loewe bag" when I got it. It has pictures. https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/my-first-loewe-bag.1069456/I love the hammock hobo it’s on my list of bags I have the small puzzle in black and the flamenco in warm dessert. I’m thinking of getting the khaki green for the hobo because I want a different color. Loewe is my favorite designer the leather is amazing and so luxurious ❤️
If anyone has the khaki green can you please post a photo I want to see what it looks like is it pretty???
Thank you sooo much! I’ll look them up and reach out!I really hate paying higher than the already high boutique prices but sometimes I do use them if I really cannot locate something in my home boutiques. I have used Paris personal shop before (many times but the last time was several years ago). She is very nice and is honest and reliable. I also have used Jaidi finds in the US - she can locate things in Europe and even further afield (she once got something from Japan for me). Her prices are sometimes high (she explains why they are high taxes fees etc) but her service is unmatched - she is really really very very good in terms of everything honesty, reliability, fast shipping, excellent communication. I have also used momoland tokyo - her prices are the most fair and she is honest and reliable. The scarf will probably be available in asia - they often have the best stock availability and the Asian boutiques do not show up in the search because they have their own database within asia.
And I know the feeling you are feeling about replacing it - I really do hope you can locate one 🤞🏻
Yes, someone will have a gorgeous beautiful purple bag!Thank you for the eye candy! It’s beautiful!
Always best just to ask one’s SA if the store ordered any at podium recently.@acrowcounted I would love to hear your thoughts and insights about this topic!
Congrats!! I hope your enjoying it!!Thank you all for your helpful input! In case anyone was curious about what I chose, I ended up going with the diamond pendant!
Thanks for the info. I’ve been invited to an event tomorrow at my local store, hopefully they will have it.It does fit all my day to day stuff plus a small pocket umbrella ( wallet, 2 phones, hand lotion , sanitizer, couple of lipsticks , small bottle of perfume and car key, face powder. The bag doesn't have any structure so I got some organizer in amazon. The more stuff you put in the more the cookie shapes shows. I also sprayed some apple gardè as it's on the lighter side of color. Tried to download video but doesn't allow me for some reason
If you do a search on this forum, you will find other threads devoted to this bag!anyone have this trapezoidal hard bag? Cost? availability? review? pictures!!!?
If I had a choice I’d probably go with the classic calfskin. I don’t exactly mind the satin calfskin as I have the blueberry small calcifer puzzle and there is some wrinkling/creasing but it still looks pretty good. I don’t use it often and I’ve dropped it a few times and it still looks good, no major scratching and even if there is - it kind of blends in with the bag.Thank you! Most of my other bags are very structured, so I think suppleness is not my number one priority. Just longevity. I don’t think I mind some creases, but I don’t want it to look old and ancient right away. I appreciate your input on the scratches; they are what I’m most worried about. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to see any in store myself, and my purse is set to arrive next week, so I guess I’ll evaluate what I think of it then. Just wish I could see some pictures of the satin leather after it’s been used a lot for over a year. I saw someone on YouTube that had been using it a couple months and it still looked really good, but she also recommended against the satin leather. Sucks that I’m finally able to get the bag I’ve been thinking about for a couple years now, and the only ones in the older style are in the satin leather or a lot more expensive.
Good luck. And maybe another Alto collector will chime in with someThank you! I'm so grateful for this reply, as I can see that you have a similar 'take' on colors and functionality to me. What you described about the undertone is exactly my concern about the taupe, and even this year's bags look very different in different photos online. That's what drove me to consider vanilla. And what you describe about lighter colors getting exposed to dirt, color transfer, weather, etc. is exactly what concerned me about vanilla! And I also don't protect or treat my bags. I suspect I may just have to try to see the taupe in person to see whether it's the right balance of being light enough to fit the purpose I have but not too light to show a lot of wear, and with the right undertone.
Again, thank you for sharing your knowledge! Very much appreciated.
