Ok, my JUC is back from service. They tightened the hinge. It feels better.

My Ecrou is another story. The workshop deemed the hinge fine and refused to tighten it (or else it can’t be tightened, it was unclear). I was told I could have them make a new one at 70% off retail, however the person talking to me told me the hinge would just loosen again.

Very disappointing all around.

Also, do they have a "notify me when back in stock" option? Sounds like probably not if this was a final sale. I recently purchased something (though it was not on sale) from saks that had previously been sold out. When 1 suddenly appeared available, I snagged it. I was thinking maybe someone purchased and returned the item but if the item you want is final sale I guess there won't be any chance of a return 😞

I am so sorry, I didn’t see your comment until know. i got the Coffret Tresor 24. It is now safely tucked away, awaiting my birthday in January (“from me to me”). I got a preloved one which I know is authentic (a friend of mine is working for the auction house selling it). Mine is in Reverse monogram. If I had ordered a new in store, I think I would have bought the jewelry box (I may want that as well but this one was too good to pass). Which one did you select?

I have seen other items cross-listed on eBay and Poshmark; sometimes you can easily tell that it’s the same seller, sometimes not (my own names on both platforms are completely different, having started on eBay at least 25 years before discovering Poshmark).

Poshmark does not monitor listings, so there are many sellers with active listings who have not been on the site in years; I discovered this the hard way, when I purchased an item (makeup) from an inactive seller (eventually the system notes that your item was not shipped and sends the money back to you). You can see when the seller was last on Poshmark (I now always check first!).

I was going to ask which bag bc I thought they were all leather and didn't see one for $5k but realize you said pounds not dollars so I'm guessing the ugly colored one, which happens to be the most expensive one. All the others are leather and this is the only one that's cotton so I really don't understand it myself. You could literally have a lambskin Chanel or Dior bag for less than $6600. Insanity!

Your necklaces are beautiful. Any issues with flipping on the tennis necklace? That seems to be the biggest complaint for some…that the necklace doesn’t stay and flips to the back of diamond side.

Does anyone know the difference between these two bigs when both full size? I know they are the Lee Radziwill bag but they are of course not the same bag. I know one can be called petite but it’s often tiny and I mean the full size version (which could be called the petite bag I have no clue). I just bought the first version and I don’t want to call it by the wrong name and embarrass myself but I’m also curious if it’s vintage or anything like that? It doesn’t seem like it’s available to find new. The latter was on my wishlist but I found the most amazing needlepoint version of the former and couldn’t resist. Thank you in advance. Fingers crossed someone can help.

Hi there, I am not very into Gucci bags but I like the bamboo bags, as I am consider them as classics and somewhat I like bamboo

I aquired the miss bamboo bucket bag and I like to know what year it came out, so that I can check, if it is still in the Alessandro Michele era. It has the black QR code label inside, so this is not a vintage bag. I could not find much info about the it in the internet. Does someone has it or knows it? That would be great.

I picture myself wearing the heart chain exactly as you describe, as decoration only. Maybe in the winter with bulkier sweaters, it might not be as uncomfortable, but I imagine the regular strap must be much more comfortable.

So, I went to the store today but they didn't have either color (sport red or the petunia) in any style of bag. They did have the Mira in black however, so I was at least able to see the size.

I've ordered the pink one from the website. While I do think I would like the bright red color, I have fewer outfits that I would wear with it, AND for me, red + hearts = Valentine's day which isn't the look I'm going for.

I'm excited to get my new bag and see what it looks like in person!

I wear it out for errands as well but one thing to note is that the bag does not have a top closure so i would not recommend on public transit or in crowded areas were someone could easily reach into your bag.
