Should I sell my single flap caviar jumbo for a double flap caviar dark beige small flap?

Its crazy. I recently got quotes for a 2 year old jumbo black caviar with gold (used once and has all original packaging). One declined for inventory and the highest was Fashionphile at $3600. I don’t know how that’s possible with the almost $12k retail and I know they will list it for more than double that. They used to be great and quotes were near retail but not in the last few months.
Too much inventory; supply and demand

Please help me choose- Diane Vs Samuar BB Vs Vanity chain pouch

I have the mono Diane and the Saumur BB. I love them both but use them for different occasions. The Diane can fit my Sarah wallet with other stuff and use when I need to bring more. I switch to a zcp for the Saumur if I need a smaller bag. Sometimes the Diane can be big for me depending on the reason for use, if that makes sense.
It depends how you will be using the bag..

Ordering Direct from CreedBoutique.com

An update. It shipped and arrived this evening. I was disappointed that the presentation box had cosmetic damage to it. Also they did not use elegant buffering in the package but cheap crumpled paper with industrial branding. Nothing about my experience with them or the presentation has been elegant or special, but the fragrances are nice.

First purchase: Noé BB or Neverfull MM

I do own a petit noe in black multicolor, but my damier azur noe is the bb size. I took some more pics today to show what fits.

I had to use my phone to take the photos, so I have an old phone case for size reference.

Definitely a bit fuller than I usually have it but a standard sized sunglasses case, 0.6L Sigg water bottle, cosmetics bag, larger sized multicolor pochette cles, epi pocket organizer, phone (case), and mini keepall.
OH wow, I thought the BB was a lot smaller. I'm surprised it's as big as you show. My bad, thought yours was bigger.

Removing smoke smell from Chanel vintage bag

@zta47 any luck? If not, I can suggest the following procedure.

The thing with baking soda is that you have to use a lot of it. It’s like trying to get the smell out of a mattress or sofa. You may have to deodorize both the inside and out leather. First take a cloth sachet that is approximately the size of the interior, dump baking soda in it, close the opening and stuff inside the purse. Make sure to get the corners and slip pockets. Put the whole purse into a bigger pillowcase. You want to protect the leather but breathable enough for the BS to work. Put the bag into a plastic bag and dump some more baking soda into the outer plastic bag. This way you are deodorizing both layers of the leather from the inside and out. Seal it and let it sit minimum 24 hours. Repeat as needed. It can take up to a week for really strong odoyr. At no point should you use vinegar or rub the baking soda onto the leather as it is harsh and abrasive. You don’t want to damage the finish. Vacuum up the rest.

What's the best Cartier cufflinks FOR MEN?

My first choice would have been the Cartier Double C de Cartier but seeing as you have the lighter one, I would probably not get another one of the same design unless it was a matter of having a GHW and PHW. I like the simple yet unique design of the Cartier Santos de Cartier 2 but you mentioned you have a matching belt and watch of Cartier Santos de Cartier 1 so it would look nicely cohesive if you had the three matching.

How would you all describe the pebble grain oyster color?

I’m the same way, my husband tells me i think you’re overthinking about these handbags. lol i love the florentine ones because i love all that natural look and the vegetable tanning process and the full grain leather. Just not maybe styles call to me in that line. I love my toggle florentine chestnut for now.. wanting the ecru but wondering how it looks as it gets older and worn
I worry about color transfer with cross body handbags in light colors.

Which Chanel small flap looks the best to keep

If you went to a Chanel boutique and looked at 6 black classic flaps with silver hardware, you will see they are all different. In regards to the height of the arch, someone is rolling or the shaping the arch, it’s not always be a specific height.
Yeah that’s what I have noticed they changed both medium and small flaps every year. Like some of the corner stitch and some don’t
Based on the pictures alone, I don't see anything wrong with yours. In fact, your caviar appears more shiny and quilts appear more puffy -which is what I look for and prefer when choosing CFs.

It seems to be quite common that different batches of classic flaps can vary. In my experience, the older flaps tend to have better quality than recent years. I would keep it and get it authenticated for peace of mind.

If I was to make an observation. I would say your friend's bag may have been hit by corporate greed "shrinkflation". Maybe Chanel is trying to save cost by making their bags smaller now? eg. The new extra mini - make a bag 2cm smaller (10% smaller) so they can charge $200 less :shrugs:
You had me at shrinkflation 😭. I did see the new mini and it was a tiny! Not sure how I felt about it tbh
