I know you all remember your "firsts". I read as much as I could. Since I'm around 1.78 I checked that I'm too scared of Kelly 25 and Kelly 28 might be my sweet spot. To give an example, I have problems with Chanel medium and do it just for evenings out and I pretzel everything. I want my Kelly to be a pop of colour, feminine. I need Kelly the trapezoid right now, not Birkin. Sellier vs Retourne. what's your take on this? And swift leather? I look at my bags and the "grainy" leather vs smooth. I know Kelly 25 IS a pop of colour. Is Kelly 28 too big or could still pass as this great accent? In both versions (retourne and epson sellier)? Just like I like BV's parakeet. For unknown reasons I only bring it when I go golfing (admittedly often). The colour is so fresh, optimistic and I can't stop smiling at it. As everyday it wouldn't work for me. I want now a bigger, more ladylike elegant but not "grandma" bag. (Besides this 3/4 of my bags are in black/grey so I need a break).

I’m trying to get a watch for my 30th birthday. I went into the cartier store today to try on two watches: 1) Ballon Bleu 28mm with diamonds, 2) Tank Francaise small with diamonds.

I don’t really care that much about the movement so will get quartz movement on either. This will be my only watch, so I would want this to go well with outfits of all ranges, from casual to formal.

I feel like both are really great designs and look gorgeous, but can you guys please help me choose between the two? Which one looks better on my wrist? Thank you in advance!

During my search for a minimalist tote, I came across this designer who has worked for Delvaux and LV among other brands. There doesn't seem to be any information shared in the forum previously and just one mention in a 2018 Purseblog post.

Has anybody here seen the bags in person?

After years of contemplating I finally made my first Chanel purchase: a pair of black lamb skin ballet flats with patent leather toe caps.

Since the sole is made of leather, they’re extremely slippery and I don’t feel confident wearing them. I’ve heard that you can add rubber soles via a shoe cobbler to make them less slippery but I’m unsure if this will change the look of them too much. Does anyone have experience doing this to their ballet flats?

If so, can you please share what you had done and provide photos?

I stopped by a boutique to ask for advice and the SA I spoke too recommended I didn’t do anything to them and that walking in them will eventually make them less slippery. Unfortunately, I’m too clumsy for this method lol.

My question or observation came up while a friend of mine and I were shopping. I said, I just love, love bling. She said "all girls do." This made me think when did we women begin to wear much much more jewelry than men? Did we learn this or is it innate? I just cannot get enough bling and absolutely adore it. My boyfriend wears one ring on a good day when he is not working. Maybe I shouldn't ask why but enjoy it. What do you think?

My new to me Lucky Charms Reissue in the 225 size I have been admiring the charm bags for years but the Ritz Paris was the only one I wanted to add to my collection. She popped up on Fashionphile 2 days ago and I snagged her immediately. She is in excellent condition despite being over 7 years old and I absolutely adore her This is truly a forever piece for me.

I have never been a Dolce & Gabbana type of girl, probably because I find it too girly/colorful for my taste. But then again, I love Miu Miu, so go figure. ⠀ I was watching the earlier seasons of Sex and the City again when I started thinking about this brand. What are everyone's thoughts? Is the brand still relevant? What's the quality like? Do we consider it a premium brand? Just curious about what others think

I was told today that any bag not shown in your customer profile that has a quality issue that is not fixable, that otherwise would have been granted store credit as recently as of last year (in my recollection), will no longer be subject to store credit. My aunty then told me she a size 35 in same colour, which I can have if I wanted.

Honestly if I didn't buy my dream birkin from the store, I would swear it was fake...

But I just worried about this birkin 35, she says she bought it in Paris, but I just don't know. If anyone can help it would be appreciated

First post here, and I would like to have your opinions.

I recently sold my Balenciaga mini city bag, and would like to buy a new everyday black bag.
I am debating between the LV Keepall 25 or the Coussin PM.

I feel like the Keepall is a more classic design, and is more casual. It is also less expensive, but less versatile since it can only be carried crossbody or top-handled.
On the other hand, the Coussin PM is more versatile with the strap and the chain. I feel it's more feminine with the lambskin, but it is alot more expensive. Also, are we over the Coussin silhouette? Is it a more trendy bag? Will I be sick of it in 5 years if ever LV discontinues it?

Or should I try to get an Hermes mini Lindy or mini 24/24 in store?
I read it could take up to 2 years of wait time.

Please let me know your thoughts and if you have any of these bags!

Hi Everyone.....just curious how everyone adds to their collection/shops for their bags.
I typically only buy pre-loved bags because I know the first mark on a new bag will just break my heart. I don't have the same fear with pre-loved. But my last two pre-loved purchases were a disappointment. Neither bag was in the condition I was expecting and they were unable to be returned.
I'm thinking I should stick to trusted online consignment like Fashionphile or Yoogi's closet, but I have noticed with Fashionphile some of their used are above retail! So now that even has me re-thinking pre-loved!

Just curious what everyone else does. I have purchased directly from LV but it was online. I've never been to a LV retail store. Am I missing out?

Back in early 2000s Dior did an exclusive incredible range for makeup collectibles. They were GORGEOUS. I have been on off looking last 20 years and I dont recall they release them again ? Or have these range been rebranded ? I would love to start this collection again. Would love to hear if anyone knows of this range.

The first time I saw this bag was in Lucky magazine....and I had this one before in my MAB tastic thread, same lining, but sold it for some stupid reason. Well, like an old friend, she popped up on the Real Real the other day. I pounced so quickly!! Anyway, her handles need the @Shelby33 touch and her brass pieces need buffing but otherwise, she's perfect and she's here to stay for good!!! Thanks for letting me share!!!

Is there any thing specific I can look to confirm authenticity or date (bag is vintage according to the person I bought it from) of this Ferragamo bag. Thank you for any hints, especially name of this brand. I did find a serial number, so I suspect it's from the '90s or onwards, because older Ferragamo bags don't have them. I'm really curious to find out more about this bag and I appreciate all the help I can get.
