I texted my SA about ordering the 5-motif tiger eye bracelet and she said it’s not in production now and they can’t place orders. She said she will let me know when /if this changes but I’m so sad to hear this, as I’ve been really excited about tiger eye.

I know leathers have different quality levels and was wondering if that applies to exotics like croc and gator as well?
I'm wondering this because I came across a Coach bag in Alligator for $8,000 which is significantly less than other gator skin bags I've seen.
So how can you tell if the lower price is due to a lesser quality skin vs coach just not charging as much as another brand?

I bought a bag with corners that had lost color. I touched it up with acrylic paint. But now I'm thinking maybe I should add a thin layer of edge coat to get more resistance to wear? The bag is black, so matching color isn't an issue.

It looks like a practical bag with a long drop handle which would go well over a coat.

Hello! I just tried this on today, what do you think of it? I’m not a rose gold kinda girl… I originally went to try the steel, black dial with diamonds but they didn’t have it in store so I tried this two-tone rose gold one on instead. And I actually think I like it more than the one I went in for… but I’m shocked I like it so I need to think on it before buying. He’s putting it on hold for me for a few days.
He put it on my right hand to see what it looks like against yellow gold. I wouldn’t wear it stacked, I don’t like stacking jewelry with watches. So I’d wear it alone on my left hand.

My neverfull strap is coming apart. Is it repairable . I purchased it last year at Louis Vuitton in Budapest. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been thinking about the Chanel Nano Shopper (aka Kelly), in the larger size. All of my smaller Chanel bags are crossbody, and I realize I need a top handle.

Does anyone know from experience - will it fit the Mini LV Accessories Pouchette?
I’m okay with it sitting sideways inside the Chanel. I have some medical necessities I keep in the LV pouchette.
If not, I’d likely get a Coco Handle. Or go a completely different route and customize a LV Capucines.

I have several pair of Christian Louboutin shoes that are wearable but certainly my least wearable shoes. Are CL’s still coveted and in style? Or have they had their day making the famous red bottoms a yawn or even a giggle? I honestly have no clue.

I’m trying to decide if I should keep the strappy CL’s for the rare occasions I want to look cute but have zero walking to do or if their time has passed and I should sell. All opinions welcome!

This has been my holy grail bag since I first saw it when it came out. It sold out so fast and since then I've looked for it on the preloved market. Lots of consignors kinda chuckled and said good luck when I asked for them if they could source for it for me.

Lately however I've started to see it creep into the preloved market albeit at crazy prices. Does anyone know how much the original chanel 18s emerald green jumbo retailed for??

While doing some research on Saphir Medaille d'Or products for leather care, I noticed that de Saphir Medaille d'Or Nappa cream is recommended for condtioning the vachetta of canvas bags. The product claims not to darken the vachetta.

Until now, I followed the advise from the LV SA's that I never should apply any product on the vachetta. However, the vachetta of my Neverfull has cracked after many years of use, and I wonder if I could've prevented this by conditioning the leather. Also the handles look dirty and there are water stains on the bigger parts of the vachetta. I live in a country were it rains a lot, so I would like to prevent water stains.

I was thinking about applying Collonil leather spray to prevent water stains, but I've read that water repellants aren't very healthy. because most of them contain PFAS/PFOS. And the SA told me that it would dry out the leather and cause damage in the long term.

That's why I would like to try the Nappa Cream of Saphir. It would be very helpful to know if someone already tried this.

Hi everyone! One of my wishlist items has been a black Mini Kelly in box. Recently, a friend of mine said she was letting hers go, it’s a very gently used Mini Kelly black in chèvre leather. I’m totally conflicted. I can get a pretty good deal purchasing through a friend but am I going to regret not holding out for box? I know the pros and cons, chèvre is a bit more casual can go from day to night, Box scratches more easily but will patina over time. I like the “shiny” luxe look of Box but do plan to use during the day. Will I get that a bit with Chèvre? What would you do? Any other pros and cons that I haven’t thought of or comparison photos would be so appreciated. I need to make up my mind asap. Thank you so much!!

I just received my 5 motifs onyx bracelet today. I bought it via my SA in the boutique over the phone (been with this SA for 4 years and have bought 2 bracelets and 2 pendants). I had the bracelet resized to my size before sending to me.
Upon received the bracelet, I noticed multiple huge gaps in between the motifs (all 5), when I straighten out the bracelet, I heard the rattle noise which indicated the stones are loose. Not only that, the spring of the clasp is loose.
Since this is an expensive item, I want to have the perfect one. I’m planning to text my SA tomorrow for an exchange. Do you think I could exchange it given it already resized?

I want something that’s trendy as well as classic but solid gold. 14k or 18k. Any brands you recommend? I don’t want to spend too much on branded pieces like VCA or Cartier. I like the knot earrings design that’s everywhere but it’s not solid gold.
