Hi all, I’m struggling to find a good small everyday crossbody bag. I would like it to be fairly small—just enough to fit iPhone, wallet and keys (I usually look for something around 8-10 inches long and 5-7 inches wide). Ideally, it would go with a range of outfits, from sweats to something more dressed up. Also would prefer soft leather to hard leather (slouchy would be amazing but there’s not a lot of that at this size). It doesn’t have to be luxury, but I tend to gravitate there given the generally higher quality.

I was looking at the balenciaga city mini, which was almost perfect, but I found the crossbody strap too short and the top handles too stiff (sticking up at a weird angle crossbody). I’ve tried looking at a bunch of brands but haven’t found anything I loved. If anyone has any recommendations, I would love to hear it!

I want to buy the Prada Panier double bucket/tote, but I don’t know what size to buy? Any suggestions? Looking for something that is not to huge but can fit a lot? Any ideas on which one I should buy? Looking to fit all my everyday essentials possibly even a iPad? Seen so many different reviews but it seems like the most popular one that is bought is the small one? I’m only 5,1 but do use a lot of everyday essentials so any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

I’m a guy and l’ve been eyeing the Andiamo for the longest time, especially the messenger style the came in FW24. Yet the regular Andiamo style just came in silver hardware recently so now I’m torn!

They’re the same price so it really just comes down to style.

Pros of Medium Andiamo Messenger:

• Bigger (26cm*37cm*13cm >>> 25*cm*32cm*11cm; overall feels noticeably bigger than the stats here may suggest)
• More secure due to the flap cover

Pros of Medium Andiamo Regular (in silver hardware)

• Lighter in weight (for reference the Messenger style in small weights about the same as the regular style in medium! The messenger’s flap adds quite a bit of weight)
• Has Certificate of Crafts

Another key difference is that the Andiamo Messenger has an extra, removable strap so you can wear as cross body. This is necessary because the Messenger’s braided strap is much shorter than the regular style’s one that you can only pretty much use it when you hold it as a top handler bag. You can’t wear it as a shoulder bag. So while it has an extra strap, it’s strangely less versatile than than the regular style (messenger = 2 style bag vs regular = 3 style bag), though for me I don’t really use it as shoulder bag.

In addition, the inside of Messenger one is lined with Canvas as opposed to leather, presumably to make it lighter.

Obviously the regular one is more classic so perhaps it’s easier to sell but I don’t really sell bags so that’s not really a factor for me. However, I do like the CoC for that peace of mind.

I liked Andiamo a lot already when it first came out except for the gold hardware so the fact that it comes in silver now is perfect.

Both have an insert/divider.

Help me choose so I can pull the trigger before the next price increase!

I recently purchased a Furla Metropolis Mini bag second-hand from a seller who claimed she bought it from About You. The bag is dark purple with gold hardware, and while it looks and feels high-quality, I have some doubts about its authenticity.

1. The bag has a "Made in Bulgaria" tag inside, along with a serial number: WB00828 AX0753 24335 2340 80.
2. The dust bag includes additional text compared to the standard Furla dust bags I've seen before.
3. There is no authenticity certificate included.

I've attached pictures of the bag, its interior, the dust bag, and the serial tag for reference. The bag looks and feels like high-quality leather, and the stitching is precise. However, I'm unsure if older models were sold without authenticity certificates or with different dust bags.

Could someone with expertise in Furla bags or anyone who owns a similar model help me verify its authenticity? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I am considering adding a second bracelet to stack with my Perlée diamond clover bracelet. I love the Perlée 3-row diamonds bracelet. However, my sales associate told me it was unavailable, which confused me. Does anyone know if this bracelet might be made again? I was also thinking about the Pavée Love bracelet from Cartier, but it was for the almost the same price as the Perlee. I prefer VCA to keep the look uniform with my original clover bracelet.

Eleven years ago, my friend gave me a black bead bracelet as a send-off present because I was moving overseas.
I don't know what it is exactly but it is heavy.
I thought I lost it then today I unearthed it in one of my bags.
Ideas please on how to stack / with what types of bracelets to stack it?

In this video, LV gives away Capucines away in classic colors to influencers/bloggers.

I get that celebrities and editors have always been given things by brands for free for decades, but influencers just seem so low-tier? Maybe I just personally have a problem with influencers lol! Am I missing something? Are these people actually not influencers?

I remember LV gave away a ton of those Koons bags that were not selling well, but that's a different level from the classic Capucines. I know Dior is going all in with influencer marketing pushes for each new "it-bag" they want to push, but I can't imagine them giving away Lady Diors, which is more equal to LV giving away Capucines.

At any rate, I thought it would be fun discussion!

Hi everyone! I would love some advice on the next piece of FJ for my stack. I recently got a Cartier JUC small with diamonds to add to my Hermes Kelly bracelet half pavé. I'm looking for another piece that would go well with these two.

Initially I was thinking the classic Cartier Love bracelet, original, with no diamonds but are two bangles together a bit weird?

I also have a very teeny diamond tennis bracelet from an indie jeweler but I don't like to wear it with the other two bracelets because it's too loose and it gets tangled up. Will get it shortened later but may add to the stack/wear it on the watch wrist.

I do love a little bit of sparkle and looking to find a piece that would complement everything nicely.

So I've been bitten by the love bug.

Does anyone have more than just one love ring? On one or the other hand?

I live in a humid climate with no central heating/cooling in my house so during the summer, I’ve found that my house can get so hot (like 40C or 100F+) where my skincare/makeup goes bad or melts. Last year, I bought a whole wine fridge to store my skincare/makeup (lol) so that during the summer it doesn’t go bad since the fridge is constantly between 15-20C or 60-70F.

I am looking to purchase my first Chanel Classic Flap in Caviar and wondering if I can store it on a shelf in my large “wine fridge” so that the leather doesn’t go bad during the summer when it’s extremely hot and humid? It might look weird but it’s the only “safe” space that I can think of to not ruin the bag. I have considered getting a portable AC or dehumidifier for the whole room but we wouldn’t leave it on 24/7, so there would be periods where the room would get really humid/hot again.

Is this feasible? What do people who live in hot and humid climates with luxury leather bags do?

The 24c seems to have a bluer undertone? But, I'm not sure if that is just the lighting?

Last night I wore very light colored jeans with my red leather YSL Envelope bag. I wore the bag crossbody so I could be hands free. When I reached home from the party, I noticed that my jeans had light red stains all over my lap and tummy area where the bag was rubbing. Is this normal or is something off with the quality of my bag?

I have a big problem with my vintage Alma. Around one year ago, I noticed a small purple/brown stain on the vachetta leather. I didn’t pay much attention at that time and continued to keep my bag stored in my closet with the dustbag.
Today, looking at the bag again, I noticed that spots have been increasing and are on both sides! I am suspecting of mold or bacteria. The interior is quite in pristine, only black marks in the zip area. Help me solving the problem please 😪🙏

I have come across a bag that has attracted my attention and wondering if anyone can give me more info on it. It is a Hampton Leather Medium Carryall - 11047. I searched old post and found one from 2007 but it was about new releases and didn't provide much info except the original price of $328 and listed 3 colours, black, acorn and turquoise.

I hope you’re all doing well! So, I’ve been on a pretty strict Hermès journey for a while, but recently, I’ve been exploring other luxury houses. There are so many beautiful pieces out there, and I’ve found that instant gratification of finding a perfect piece just can’t be beaten. That’s how I ended up with this Louis Vuitton Capucines BB! I spotted it on Fashionphile in like-new condition, with the full set (even the ribbons still in the box) and for half the retail price—how could I resist? The fresh lilac color is absolutely gorgeous, and the colorful Kintsugi-inspired handles make it unique and fun.
Now, I’m torn because it feels too pretty to use , But at the same time, I’m really drawn to the size and versatility—it seems perfect for both casual and more formal outings.

A couple of things I’m wondering about:
1. I’m a bit concerned about color transfer, especially with the lighter leather. Can anyone recommend if it’s safe to use a color transfer protection spray on the Capucines leather? I want to make sure I keep it looking pristine.
2. Has anyone else had experience with the Capucines BB in terms of durability? I want to make sure it holds up with regular use but still looks amazing.


I’m just so excited about this bag, and I’d love to hear your advice on how to take care of it and if you think it was a good find!

I’m looking to purchase my wife her first Birkin for her bday. I previously posted that I was thinking of buying a Birkin 35 Jaune D’OR from the candy collection. I’ve abandoned that idea, and decided on

BIRKIN 30 NOIR with GOLD HARDWARE X stamp, in like new condition. Complete with everything including receipts and box, from a very reputable big box seller.

I know this is a safe bet but am I making a wrong choice by not getting something colorful? Hermes bright colors are so beautiful.
I know this is a “forever” birkin or a stable to anyone’s collection it I would like to hear if there are any negatives.

I’m new to this and learning daily, your help is much appreciated.
