Hi everyone- I need help with rose gold ring options to wear with my VCA hammered rose gold bracelet.

I like the VCA rose gold color and notice my Cartier rose gold pieces are a lot yellower than VCA.

Any recommendations for rose gold rings from premium brands that are similar tone to VCA RG?

After many years of wanting to buy something from the iconic house, I finally purchased my first two pieces at the Dublin boutique.

I had gone back and forth on a few bags (the Boy, the 22, etc.), but after trying them on I was not convinced. The Boy’s chain was too short (in the medium) and as much as I loved the 22 (in silver hardware) I could not bring myself to spend $5900 on bag I did not see myself using daily.

In the end, I opted for two smaller pieces: a card holder in black hardware (gorgeous) and a classic long zippy wallet in silver hardware.



I know I will use both of these all the time and the fact that I can shove my phone into the long wallet made it a no-brainer.

All to say, I am very happy with my first pieces 🖤

I will be purchasing my first and maybe the only one Birkin 30. I was debating between Black, Gold and Etoupe but decided to go with the Gold In Togo Leather and Palladium Hardware ( Hope it’s a good choice). I will be purchasing from Fashionphile because I don’t want to spend a lot in the boutique and wait for the offer. Anyway I was asking for additional photos today and they sent me lots of pictures. The bag had stuffing in it ( bubble paper) and when I saw the photos ( not the ones from the website) I don’t know if the bag is distorted or no? Will it return to the original shape? Does it look distorted? Or this unevenness is permanent now? Photos of this bag on the website looked great but now I don’t know if it’s normal for this bag to look like this after all the stuffing and will it take the original shape? On some photos it looks Good but on some other ones it looks distorted. Thank you!

Hi. I purchased a 23 series new medium red boy bag, and it is a gorgeous cherry red. I did a lot of research before buying a red bag - 24 series (17B), 26 series (18B), 28 series (19B), etc - but I never came across a 23 series red until this one. I was in a reseller showroom and fell in love. I am nervous this might be a dupe (I did buy from a reputable place and am having it authenticated). Just curious if anyone knows of the 23 series cherry red. The interesting thing is that I did see the exact same bag (when I was in the showroom) in the exact same red and it was a 21 series. I know Chanel doesn't repeat red colors----so I figured I would see if anyone has a 23 series red boy bag (lambskin w/GHW). Thanks!

I have an issue with my PM East West-- the front s-lock easily unlatches when brushed against something. I took the bag to my local LV and they agreed the lock was defective and sent a work order to have the lock replaced. The CA put a rush on the repair and the repair arrived 4 weeks later. I picked the bag up on Christmas Eve. Now a month goes by and the lock continues to unlatch again. I mainly wear the handbag cross body and while shopping or walking into a restaurant, I happen to look down and the lock has unlatched. This makes me question if the lock was really replaced or did the repair shop "tweak" the original lock to make it work. I'm going to stop into the LV shop again to have it assessed.

I have not come across post with complaints about the s-locks easily unlatching. Just curious if this has happened to anyone. It has been very frustrating-- the bag is a new purchase in October of 2024. Thank you

I am having dilemma regarding two 🦋earrings. Please help me decide.
I got the mop pair RG 🦋pair and placed order for single pave RG 🦋 earrings. I anm thinking about placing order for single RG pink sapphire 🦋 earrings so I would have the MoP pair and RG version of the other circled pair in pic. Other option would be ordering pave RG pair but I have Frivole pave and magic Alhambra pave in RG so not sure if that’s redundant. What do you all think? TIA!

l've seen a few convos regarding the value of purchasing in Europe vs The U.S.

I had been eyeing the Loewe large Edge Puzzle for a while. I'm from SF and the price after tax for this baby back home was $4,499...basically $4500.

I travel to Europe (mainly Ireland) a few times a year and deeply regretted not getting it in Amsterdam this past summer after seeing the price difference.

I swung by Brown Thomas in Dublin and saw they had this beauty on display for 3400.

Given it was the display, I hesitated for a moment and the wonderful SA at the store said he could take off 10%. This would never happen at a Loewe flagship so jumped on the change given the bag was perfectly fine.

That brought the bag down to 3060. I will be getting 490 back in vat which brings it down to2570. After conversion that is $2671. That is a difference of $1,829.

That is huge. That is almost a $2k difference. Even without the additional 10% the SA took, that is still a $1,500 difference in price.

Net, net - I have stopped buying designer bags in the US, unless it is a very limited edition or run.

The leather is so soft and amazing. I love the color and could not be happier.

Does anyone in the US (or outside of Europe) have experience ordering through a Paris based SA/boutique and shipping to your home? When I was in Paris last year I met a great SA and he mentioned I could shop remotely with him. I believe he even mentioned I would be eligible for the VAT refund even with remote purchases. I can’t find any confirmation of that around the forum or on the web, so curious if other have done this? If so do you get the usual 12% back? What are shipping and import duties like? I’d love to take advantage of the “buy 1 get 1 half off” Paris pricing vs US if possible

Hello ladies, I have been eyeing a few pieces from the 25P collection. I have been wanting something white and black and there are a few new mini flaps, a little bag and a few backpacks. I love Crossbody bags and the mini backpack can be worn Crossbody. Just wondering if anybody has any experience with this backpack and what your thoughts are as far as a mini flap versus the backpack, I will post pictures of what I am looking at. I love the white and black the most of course I am worried about color transfer, but I do love the look and feel of lambskin. Also, the new mini Thirty-one colors look amazing so I am torn.

A special request to all who post about new bags and especially those who
post YouTube videos..... please measure the bags and share the info with us.
Often the measurements are either not listed on the Dooney sites or they are
incorrectly listed.

We have all gotten a bag that is either much smaller than we wanted or
larger. And then there is the return hassle. And some of the core styles are
made in multiple leathers and the sizes differ, or the styles have been reintroduced
with different (often smaller) dimensions, so it's really hard to know what we are
getting. And then, there is the confusion introduced when some styles are measured
across the top vs. across the length of the base.

Every measurement counts...length across the base, depth (width) of the base,
height all determine how much space a bag will have. Base depth (width) is often
overlooked and often wrong on the sites. It makes a big difference in the capacity of a bag.

Handle drop and strap drop
can be important to many. And, many want to know if a strap can be removed,
without cutting it. (Yes, you would think this would be obvious, but sometime the
pegs prevent the strap from slipping thru a small D ring or the pegs prevent the strap from
being fully opened).

Long time collectors have some experience with Dooney and have learned, often the
hard way, that certain collections (like Alto) are measured differently or that the interior space
is often smaller than the exterior measurements due to the structure and design of
those collections. And we try to point that out when someone asks about an Alto bag.

But there are measurement challenges with other collections, and even the most experienced
collectors will benefit from more details and getting measurements from someone who has the
bag in hand. Everyone had different handbag preferences (and needs) and calling a handbag
roomy or large is relative, measurements are much more helpful. And bags that look alike are
often not the same size unless they are from the same collection in the same season. Different leather,
different years, mean we can't assume things won't have changed.

I'm struggling a bit with my next VCA purchase. I'm addicted to chalcedony, it expresses my personality and aesthetic perfectly. I already have the earrings and the bracelet. Should I get the 10 or 20 motif next? I have a white gold 20motif mop and like it, don't wear it that often because I don't like how the chains overlap and rustle against each other in the back. With my 10 motif Malachite I feel like it doesn't fill the neckline. I like to wear V-necklines. I also think that the 10 motif doesn't show off the light-coloured chalcedony so well. The 20 motif always gets tangled at the back because of the overlapping and that annoys me because I'm afraid of damaging the stone and always have to adjust it a bit.

What should I get?
Hooking a 10 motif and a 5 motif is not an option for me personally

Looking to get either belt bag or just phone bag that looks good for running errands. I'm at the point of life where I hate carrying a lot of items and only stick to car keys, lippies and phone.
