Hi all, i recently bought a pair of slingback flats in the goatskin and grosgrain (classic nude/black toe). Within one hour of wear, deep creases appeared in the leather; I took it into store and the SA agreed it should not look like this. However it was sent to the atelier who claim this is not a defect. Anyone experienced the same?

How do you feel about the soft caviar leather that looks jet black and very shiny. I don't know much about the variance in leathers well enough to make up my mind, they all look similar under the store lighting but different in natural light. At times I like it because the shine looks stunning, but then at times I feel it looks plasticy. Of course it depends on taste but curious if most find this variation of caviar tacky or if it's well liked.

An SA told me today I am being too nit picky, am I? I noticed on my classic flap that the leather on the flap portion has the flatter kind of quilts vs. the portion on the bottom by the turnlock, which has puffy quilts. So the flap portion is still slightly puffy, but noticably less than the bottom portion. The bag also looks completely flat on the top where it bends. To me, it looks like two variations of leather. It's not a workmanship issue but IMO they mismatched the leather when they assembled it together.

I'm pretty sure I've pissed off the SA who sold me this bag. But I asked another SA for an opinion who said I am being too nit picky and I shouldn't pay attention to the bloggers on the internet. It really upset me at first, but I reminded myself and the SA that I have ignored any of the "handcrafted" variations and focused solely on the quality. I am looking for a bag that is Chanel worthy quality, without torn stitches and peeling leather and now mismatched quilts for the price I'm paying. The beauty of the bag is in the quilts, isn't it?

However, someone else is accepting the bags I've returned and of course they are ok with them. So, I'm genuinely curious, am I being too nit picky? Would you accept this bag? What are some of the flaws that you've accepted and think are no big deal?

I’ve just purchased the APC Grace bag in a patent leather and I’ve noticed when I looked closely at the bag each of the patches seems like it’s scratched. But from afar it’s completely normal. Would y’all take a look at it for me? And is this normal for a patent leather bag? This is my very first time purchasing one so I’m not sure what it should look like. Thanks.

My sister bought me a mini top handle in purple in Paris at the same time I got another one in US in green. When I got the green one I didn’t know that my sister could have got me one in Paris. so bottom line I ended having 2 mini top handle which I don’t want to have 2 mini in the same style and the strap length is long for my height.
I am thinking to go return the green one because I just bought it a week ago and may get something else instead. However my sa is on vacation and I really don’t want my sa get mad because I return it without her there and i don’t want to keep 2 mini with the same style. Pls help me to decide it.
Is mini top handle worst to keep it? I have 12 Chanel bags total but classic in med/ jumbo and boy ones. This is my first time get 2 mini top handle which I didn’t intended. Do u think I can sell it to resellers and get $$ back as what I paid for those bags that have not used?

First off, I apologize if this has been discussed before, but I searched and couldn’t find any content on it.

Second, I’m interested in purchasing the current uniform bag that the LV sales associates carry and have located it second-hand on multiple platforms.

I’m concerned with whether or not it is frowned down upon. I believe in wearing whatever you want, but is this a faux-pas that I’ll be committing if I wear this bag? I’m genuinely just in love with it.

So after years of no longer buying Balenciaga I have become obsessed with Le Cajole! I’ve seen tons of posts and unboxing videos of the XS but I was wondering if anyone has or has tried the mini? I just love that you have the option of both the chain or the strap. I have yet to try to find it in my local store and wanted to see if anyone else has seen it and can compare it to the size of any other mini bags? Curious to know how much it holds. Thanks!

I am trying to get my hands on the newest seasonal items and was wondering if you all have any tips on the best time to visit a Chanel boutique. I went on a Sunday last time and waited for an hour and found out there’s virtually nothing in stock! I think weekends are the worst time to visit boutiques since shipments only come Monday to Friday. I was wondering if you guys have tips on the best day (like midweek or beginning of the week). And is going as soon as they are open the best or wait until like early afternoon? (I heard shipments come at night and I also heard shipments come in the morning)

Since it has become harder to buy the monogram Pochette Accessoire , has anyone bought the LV Muti Pochette and used the pouches separately? Has this worked well for you? Do you use it for travel?
I am considering doing this for travel by using the Pochettes in my tote bag and then wearing them at the destination.
I’m also thinking about the double zip Pochette, but I’m not keen on the giant monogram side.

Looking to buy a keepall. Also buy new but feel this particular item would be best pre-owned considering it will be used for travel and I don't want to worry about it getting dirty, etc. Also enjoy the idea of owning something and giving it more life.

Hi. Just wondering....I was looking at the Nordstrom website and noticed 2 bags that I am interested. The Le pliage large backpack in Storm colour and the Cuir Tote in Terra. Does anyone have these? I don't see these colours on longchamp website or searches, are these colours specific to nordstrom? Also Ican't find the size of the backpack anywhere else? Is this model version old or new or just specific to Nordstrom?

I’m in Paris and need your help picking between these two bags. They’re a little too similar in size and function for me to justify both either now or later down the road and they are both crossbody and have a top handle.

I’m aware I’m posting in an LV thread so there might be some bias, but maybe somebody who has both or one of these bags can weigh in with their personal experience.

I’m a little conflicted because I’m on the shorter side (5’1) and the Alma with the jacquard strap hangs higher on my body but it still is not adjustable while the Balenciaga is. But on the other hand I feel that the Alma is a classic and more likely to stand the test of time while the Balenciaga might be more trendy?

Which would you pick? I’d like to hear your thoughts on this…thanks!

I seem to have acquired quite a few loose diamonds and gemstones over the years. I think it's finally time I had them set so asking for some inspiration pics.

I already have a bunch of solitaire diamond pendants so looking for more unique designs. Maybe something like a toi et moi pendant, or a choker with a dangling pendant attached, maybe a DBTY type of necklace with different stones/shapes.
In other words, I have no idea what to do with them.
The shapes are square, round and pear; sapphires and diamonds. Sizes range from .24ct to .65ct.

Hi all! Wondering if I could get some help on a maybe issue. I recently bought a garden party 36 and I noticed that on the one side of the bag all three buttons make a slight jingling noise of sorts. It’s pretty minor and it seems to be a mechanism inside the button itself moving. As that I bought it online and don’t have a specific SA communication with them to help has been sub par. I assume it’s normal but I don’t know what I don’t know! So any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I am trying to sell my Chanel X; however, I sent it to Fashionphile for a quote and they rejected the item because they said they had too many of the same type of bag in their inventory. It is in amazing condition. It's just not a bag that I've carried very much. Fashionphile is the only option I have ever used. Are there any other sites similar to Fashionphile where they will give you a quote and directly deposit the entire amount to your bank account once they receive and authenticate the handbag? I'm not interested in consignment or trades. I've thought about Ebay or Facebook Marketplace, but a little concerned about what types of people that may attract and don't really know of anyone personally that is interested.

I would get lots of use out of the croisette but always wanted the Alma bb vernis and it is hard to get. Any opinions on what I should go for?

Has anyone noticed many people and brands pumping more money into their fine jewelry? I recently saw a video from Balmain launching their new fine jewelry collection. LV is pushing more of their gold and diamonds. There are now more and more Cartier/Vancleef/Tiffany on the Instagram feed. Even people who used to be into handbags now feature jewelry on their pages. I have always loved jewelry and am curious about where this will lead. I am so over handbag and love to see more unique jewelry on Instagram. Is jewelry the next "IT bag"? What do you think?
