Help Me Choose Which Color Puzzle for Fall!

I already have one puzzle bag in suede so I know I love it, but I want to get a new one because the suede gets dirty so easily I don't carry it as much as I'd like to. I'm stuck between these two colors, sand and light caramel, which are both great for fall. I wear a lot of bright colors (pink, blue), band t-shirts (black) basically never wear white. All of my bags are mostly bright colors, I've never bought a more neutral leather color before so I'm not sure where to start. I'd love your input I'm so torn!!

Book Tote in cold climate..?

Hi guys! I am new to Dior bags and after a looong period of consideration & drooling I am finally on the edge of purchasing a Dior Book Tote.
I was offered a large size navy blue embroidery which I believe is safe choice /”forever bag”. ☺️
But, the one last thing that still keeps me from taking the splurge is that I live in Scandinavia so the climate is not ideal for a canvas bag.
Now I am hoping someone to chime in and talk me over to buy it anyway! And saying it is very much wearable in all kind of climates and weather conditions. :D
Or is it just a vacay bag and for those two months a year we have warm and sunny here in Scandinavia?
Any advice, comments and personal reviews about this bag are very much welcome!

Your best purchases under $50?

What are some of the best purchases under $50 you've made that you can't live without?

I'll start. We have a dog at home that sheds quite a bit, and I had struggled for years to get his fur cleaned up off our hardwood floor. In a trending Reddit thread, many people mentioned a rubber bristle broom that was a game changer.

Oh boy, best house purchase in years. Picks up all the fur and, best of all, nothing sticks to it.

Cartier tank must vs francaise vs panthere

Hey all, I’m about to purchase my very first luxury watch from Cartier - am very torn between 3: the tank must, tank francaise and panthere (small). All in steel finish.

My wrist is fairly large at 6.5 inches, I want it to be a watch that can be both formal and casual at the same time - when I tried them all on in store the Must jumped out at me as a surprising contender since I pretty much had my heart set on the Panthere or Francaise!

My thoughts are:
Panthere is beautiful but so small, the medium is quite large and doesn’t feel as ornate.
Must is very elegant and larger face, but is it too large? (The one in pic is the smallest size)
Francaise’s face felt a bit duller than the other two, but I love the matte bracelet accents and the more masculine look (feels more pointed than the Must)

I can’t find many comparisons of these styles and was wondering if anyone had any insights if they previously went through the same process? Thanks a lot for any input :)

Cleaning silk shirt without affecting the tags

PXL_20220821_173118049.jpg

So I got this Versace silk shirt, but the problem is I spilled a white wine on it. Now it has dark areas all over it. The situation is complicated by the fact that I need to return this shirt to the store and at the laundry I was told they need to remove all the tags before they will be capable to do dry cleaning as they do it in a special machine. I have the following questions:
  • is there any way to clean the shirt without removing the tags
  • also what will happen to the holographic tag with NFC after dry cleaning
And just for the future: what is the best website to resell such goods?

Thanks in advance ✌️

Le Pliage City--Thoughts?

Hello! I've been here a while but have not posted on the Longchamp forum before. I'm in NY and I'm a big fan of their backpacks especially for commuting and doing errands. My favorites are the classic black Le Pliage, the slightly larger Le Pliage Club in navy, and the large Le Foulonne in cherry red.

I found a small, black Le Pliage City top handle with the crossbody strap at Marshall's today for under $180. I've never seen this style before or this material. I've been eying the Le Pliage Cuir for long time but the leather always seemed so soft and delicate and I'm pretty rough with my bags. The City seemed like a good alternative because it has the look of leather but the canvas feels more durable. Does anyone have the City bag and can you share how the coated canvas holds up? Would it be good for rainy days? I use my nylon backpacks in the rain and love that everything remains dry inside.

Advice please

I need a small-medium sized crossbody. I’d like it to be leather. Right now I’m debating between Coussin PM and YSL Loulou small. I saw the Coussin today and really love it. Haven’t seen the YSL irl but have the puffer clutch so I have an idea of what it would be like. Tbh the price of the Coussin is the only thing turning me off….it would be the most expensive handbag I’ve bought. And it seems pretty pricey for what it is. Anyone have both and could give me some pros/cons? Other thoughts?

work bag?

i work in consulting and recently changed jobs. i need an inconspicuous work bag for client meetings. i don’t need a tote as i carry my laptop in tech backpack. i don’t want to use any of my LV with big logo or monogram or Chanel with CCs which doesn’t leave with much choice for my own collection.

Any suggestions?

Bifold wallet after 6 years

Hi! I just wanted to show you how my Coach wallet ended up after 6 years of everyday use. This wallet was always used with 10 cards, at least 5 bills and always on the front pocket of a pair of jeans!

I work on tv production and mostly use this wallet because if I ever lose it, I would mind more about my money or cards than the wallet itself hahaha. If anyone would like to show their wallets so we can compare tear and wear, that would be appreciated!

Wallet advice

I’m getting a new wallet tomorrow. I took my original mono clemence to LV because of a glazing issue and they are letting me exchange it. I like the clemence but it’s a bit short, hard to get bills in. But I feel like the zippy is too big. I looked at the men’s Brazza. I’m not sure how I feel about no closure. Not sure about Sarah. Seems too big. I might get another clemence. Thoughts on the empriente? Wish they had more colors.

Cartier Tank Must dilemma?!

Please can anyone assist me with my Cartier dilemma?

I plan to buy a small Tank Must and I'm debating between the steel bracelet or leather strap. They both look stunning, although I am leaning towards the steel bracelet (I change my mind frequently due to the problems I fear I may encounter if I get the bracelet).

As I plan to buy a leather strap soon after to switch up the styling, I can't help but wonder how easy/difficult it is to interchange the straps?

I cannot find a tutorial anywhere on how to remove the Tank Must bracelet and attach a leather strap. Or even a tutorial on how to remove links from the bracelet if it is too large for me.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or how to do these things?

Thank you in advance

Celine box strap

Hi everyone,
I recently purchased the Celine box teen in calfskin and after a week of heavy use (almost daily with walking 8-9 miles/day...I was in Italy/Santorini on vacation) I noticed the leather wearing down and was disappointed. I took it to the Neiman Marcus Celine (there is no stand alone Celine near me) and the Sales Associate basically said the strap of my bag is inevitable to get scratched bc it’s leather rubbing against lambskin. They'd recommend to wait until it gets worse to take it in bc it’s going to happen again. So they just suggested not to remove the strap too fast to avoid the friction and avoid adjusting it too much (I was adjusting it to avoid the metal pieces from scratching me). Just curious if anyone else has experienced this issue and wanted to give fellow box bag owners a heads up. Otherwise, no scratches anywhere else and the scratch isn't visible from the outside. Bottomline impression is I don't feel this a quality issue, just something inevitable based on the design.IMG_5950.JPG

Loop vs Alma bb, please help!

Hi purse lovers

I need help with my next purchase! I cannot decide between loop or Alma bb de.

Alma bb is one of those bags that has been on my wish list for years but I never buy because there is always something else I end up getting instead of it. Plus Alma bbs are everywhere. But it is so cute and such a classic shape. I love how dainty it is especially when carried top handle.

The loop bag, SO cute but is it too trendy? Will it become super dated in a few years time? I've been trying to go for less mono but this has definitely caught my eye.

My current collection

Mono:
Pochette metis reverse
Turenne pm
Noe bb

DE:
Neverfull mm
Odeon pm
Speedy b25

Empreinte:
St Germain bb
