Hello everyone. I recently bought the black gold chain 2.55 mini in Paris. The reference number for the bag online is AS0874-Y04634-94305. However, the reference number my receipt is AS0874-B19383-94305. Does anyone know why the middle part of the reference number is different? Thank you!

First time posting. I really want the purple Louis Vuitton Empreinte Speedy 25. There's one for sale made in 2012. I'm aware of the glazing melting issues with some of them, so I'm skeptical about getting one in case LV refuses to repair it. I'm happy to pay for repair if it comes to it, but don't know if they are able to on an older bag. The bag for sale is currently in good condition, although some cracking on the glazing on the long shoulder strap.

Shall I risk it and hope for the best or just stay away? They don't make the purple one anymore and I've been wanting this bag for years.

First vca necklace, please help me decide between the small rose gold frivole and the guicholle yellow gold, so undecided I love the mirror finish of frivole, but equally love the sparkle or guicholle, I heard that guicholle can't be polished though which is a concern.. I have the 5 motif onyx bracelet as my only other vca piece.

I have been in love with the Fendi First ever since I first saw it. I love the assymetry. I love how the F is incorporated into the design of the handle. I love that it's a clutch or can be worn over shoulder or cross body. The small size is the one that really speaks to me.

I went to a Fendi store for the first time this past week and tried the Fendi First in black leather. I want it SO bad!! I love it so much. The price for me, is very high for a single bag (~$3200usd), but I just love it so much and know I will be so happy with it for the rest of my life (provided I take care of it of course), so I am very seriously thinking of splurging on it.

I have a few questions for those of you who have this bag or at least have experience with Fendi's bags.

Do their bags hold up well? This one is described as nappa leather.
Should I buy new or used? Are the used ones usually in decent shape or are they trashed?

I had a fun session trying on items in search of my first VCA ring! My home store is the Aspen, Colorado location, and my wonderful SA brought in the Folie des Pres ring for me to view, along with several others. I was almost certain I would be taking home or ordering a two butterfly ring today but I was wrong! After trying on several lovely rings (FdP, frivole BTF, two butterfly WG pave and pink sapphire/pave, and flowerlace and YG four motif mini frivole BTF) I became absolutely smitten with the WG single frivole ring! I loved it immediately way more than all the rest. I couldn’t believe the sparkly impact it had and it’s SO wearable. It’s just me! So that opened up the rest of my budget to other goodies.
I did not get to try on a YG ring that I really wanted to see (perlee diamond pave) as apparently it’s quite rare, but my boutique happened to have a blue agate 10 motif that I tried on with my mini 3 frivole pendant and my zodiaque. I quite like the look of both, but wasn’t sold on the shade (I prefer more pale). She said there were only 2 in America, but I don’t want to make a decision based on scarcity so I declined for now.

I decided to go with the 3 flower mini frivole earrings (been wanting these for a long time!) which were not only unavailable but not able to be ordered so I earmarked my budget for when those come in. And I ordered the blue agate bracelet, which I’ve been thinking about for a very long time, but there is a one month wait for that one. The frivole ring I ordered is a 3-6 month wait.
So while I came home with NOTHING, I am excited for 3 new pieces to trickle in this year. Below are some try-on photos for y’all! Oh and I got to try on the 20 motif pave/guilloche because I wanted an idea of how long the 20 was and that was the only one in the store. It’s stunning, but not practical for my lifestyle. I also got to try on two Poetic Complication watches which were so pretty! Thanks for letting me share my fun day!

hi! This fall I found what I thought was a great deal on a black shearling bag on 24s. It was my first purchase and I got the 10% discount it arrived in pristine new condition and Ive used it all winter as my crossbody on the go.

My question is- since I purchased it the 24s price (its still listed) has fluctuated widely, first more than I paid, then less (!), now almost 2x the price. I thought initially maybe it was due to exchange rate or tariffs (Im in the USA) but now its listed way way higher.

Do you guys know what causes major price flux on 24s? It hasn't happened with other LV and other designer items on my wishlist. And its the sale price not using promo codes etc.

Hey everyone, it seems that no one has love for the Marc Jacobs bags, made in Italy back in the days. (At least in Europe) this makes me kind of sad, that there is not much appreciation but on the other hand I can build up (again) a collection. The design and the craftsmanship back in the days were very good. Since the prices for Loewe and and so on are too high- or at least, let’s say it this way- I am not willing to spent that much money for it- I think i have a new collector road. Some are quirky, some are very fun- I will look more into it from now on. 💪🏻 is the situation the same were you live?

Hello, I recently purchased this vintage Fine and Klein handbag from an antique store. I believe it is made of genuine python/snakeskin, but I'm not sure how to identify which one it specifically is. The skin is very flaky and dry in some areas, so I'm assuming it needs to be cleaned and conditioned. Can anyone recommend a product best suited to do that?

Also, the closure was missing when I purchased it and I am having a difficult time finding what style of hardware I should be replacing it with. If anyone could provide info on the appropriate type of hardware for this bag it would be much appreciated! Thank you in advance!

For those who own Two Butterfly rings, I need some advice.
I am going into my boutique tomorrow to look for rings. My SA was able to send me some photos of what they have, including the WG full pave two butterfly ring. I am very seriously considering this ring as it doesn’t seem to be over the top, but would also satisfy my need for bling. For those who have it: do you wear it casually and formally and basically all the time? Or is it a “sometimes” ring? I only want jewelry I can wear daily. The boutique has got a great selection, including frivole BTF and single frivole and notably the Folie des Pres too! So I’m dying to see what these look like and feel on my hand. The bags I get the most use out of tend to be grab and go and for me a cross body is one of my most used styles, but I also like a versatile bag! Does anyone have these bags (especially if you have a couple of them) and can give me your opinion as to which seems most versatile? I am leaning towards a black empriente for practical reasons and because I have more canvas.

Hello I asked this question in the rectangular mini thread but not sure how active that still is so starting a new thread.

Opinions welcome - do you think having both the black mini top handle AND the regular mini rectangular is redundant?

The only difference between them being (other than the top handle) that the top handle is classic gold hardware and the regular mini is champagne gold. I already have the top handle and wondering whether to get the regular too. I do prefer champagne hardware as my jewellery is white gold and I know the regular black mini is hard to get.

I have a few other minis too including neutrals (navy and beige) and brights (mint green, raspberry pink) which are a mix of both top handle and not. I like and use both types

The only reason I’m deliberating - other than them being so similar- is that I always planned to get a small size classic flap in black one day. Always thought in silver hardware since I have the gold top handle but recently leaning more towards gold as I like to dress quite formally and dressy. But surely having THREE black Chanel bags (mini top handle, mini rectangle and small classic) would be too much…

I know it’s technically in the men’s section but I am slightly obsessed. 🥹 Anyone has this? How’s the strap/overall quality and how does it hold up? I find my calf skin Bal holds up much better than my lamb skin one (though I do adore the distress look that the lamb skin has after its well-loved). And since this backpack is on the larger side, was curious how it holds up.

I went to store and tried on the Tubogas bracelet and found it really nice. What do you think about tubogas- I googled that its relatively a new relaunched collection? It is definitely not as popular as the serpenti bracelets. I also wonder how it might be loosening over time (the one I tried on seems to have a bit of the two sides misaligned by a tiny bit)
