I like the easy-peasy lipstick lip lift technique. Instead of lining your lips to accentuate the cupid's bow on your upper lip, you draw a straight line between the two top points and fill in below. It really does give you a more pouty youthful look. Comments? Any other techniques like that?

It's sad that the day has come for me to post a thread like this, but I feel we all have something like this happen.

i found out thru my ring video that a 3rd party delivery guy threw my nordie package from the street to my front door and snapped a pic before leaving. no doorbell was rung. I had no idea it was delivered until late into the evening when nordie sent a "your package has been delivered" email. I then see a guy with a cap and custom mask walking across the street with a backpack and food delivery bag casing the neighborhood. he looks at each house before seeing my pkg. he walks up and takes it in daylight. mind you, someone just walked by and he was still brazen enough to do it.

I'm now going to pickup my pkgs at the store. it may be an inconvenience, but I'm not going to give these thieves carte blanche. make sure to check signature required if they do offer this service. unfortunately nordie doesn't. I hope to hear what the resolution to this is from nordie, but I hope everyone takes the time to prevent this if possible.

Does anyone have experience with the Tod's timeless hobo? I am unable to find reviews.

I've seen a bunch of comments and youtube videos that mention the JUC should face 'this way' or 'that way' when stacked with a Love bracelet but nothing definitive. So wanted to source and see if there was a consensus among the group.

Note: The poll assumes that the JUC is being worn closer to the wrist.

I’m wondering if anyone has comparison pictures of the dark beige vs. gold sand. Or, if anyone has seen these two colours in person and could describe the difference, I’d really appreciate it! I like neutrals with a pink undertone (I have a Puffer in dark beige), and I’m wondering if the gold sand has yellow or pink undertones. Thanks in advance!

Edited to add: Does anyone have comparison pictures of dark beige vs. dusty grey? Or could describe the difference? Those two colours on the YSL website look SO similar to me!

Bleu nuit pros: elegant bag, more carefree, great for evening

Craie pros: lovely combo, craie seems to be really in demand…

My lifestyle: really quite casual. Live in US west coast but travel quite a bit

I might be late realizing this but did anyone else notice Fendi lengthened the top handle strap on the medium baguette? I bought one last year but eventually sold it because I didn’t like the crossbody strap and the top handle looked a little awkward on the rectangular size. Fast forward to last week, I decided to try again because I really like the pale pink color and the top handle drop is definitely way longer now. I can definitely fit it on my shoulder which I could not do with the old one. I’m not sure if it’s as long as the 1997 but it seems comparable and I think it looks better. You can see the difference in these two stock photos.

Just thought I’d share for anyone who would’ve preferred the medium with a longer top handle.

I recall someone getting a cover from Hermes for their QB. Since I like to be low-key in the few streets surrounding my home, but still want to use my Quota Bags often, any tips?
I would like to find some kind of 'cover' so that I can hide the fact that I am using my Birkin/Kelly (but then, when I reached my destination, I can 'uncover' the bag and put the 'cover' inside my bag). Is there such a thing from Hermes?
Currently, I use the following but find that when I fold it up, due to the handles, it does not fit inside my Kelly 28/32, Birkin 30.....

Hello all! I am planning to buy a Rolex for my 40th birthday. I have had my name down at several local ADs for a while for the following two, as I liked both of them: Silver OP 34mm, and Datejust 31mm two-tone yellow gold with white dial, Roman numerals. I've just been told both are coming in within 6 weeks and I will have first refusal on them.

I'm a hospital doctor (not a very hands-on speciality) in the NHS in the UK. I want to wear this every day - for work, leisure, everything - for decades to come (wouldn't swim etc in it though). I have dark skin if that's relevant to the choice! I only wear silver/platinum jewellery usually, and very little of it.

I've posted pictures of me wearing the exact OP. There was no model for the exact Datejust but I've posted the closest they had, plus the model I'd be getting.

The Datejust is twice the price of the OP, and I'm worried it would be too flashy (tacky?) for my lifestyle. But would the OP be too plain? Or is the beauty in its simplicity?

I placed an order Friday. I paid for overnight shipping. I wasn’t expecting it to arrive today because I ordered later in the day. But I was thinking it would ship today and be delivered tomorrow. I have just discovered that there are also Twillies from other brands that are basically the same like the Hermès ones. I especially love the floral print ones from Dolce and Gabbana and also the very neutral ones from Dior, because i sometimes can't find a matching one at Hermès.

Do you think its odd to put a non Hermès twilly on an Hermès beauty? Would love your opinions!

I live in the US and a few weeks ago I found a great price on the black Loewe mini flamenco with chain from the Selfridges website. I bought from their website because the price of the bag was $600 less than what it was on any other site. I ultimately decided I didn't really have a spot in my bag wardrobe for it so I returned it. Last night I got an email from Selfridges that said, in part:

"Before dispatching any products at Selfridges, we complete a series of quality checks to ensure we can be confident in the condition of the stock we are sending. We repeat this process when we receive returns to ensure the item meets these standards. Regretfully, the team have identified an issue with your Flamenco chain mini leather clutch bag which has a white stain on front of the bag."

I was taken aback by this as the bag never left my house, in fact it never left one room in my house. And it was in it's dust bag unless I was trying it on to see if i wanted to keep it. The style of the bag and it's leather are such that it would be pretty easy to spot any kind of stain on the bag so I was certain that 1.) the bag wasn't stained when I received it and 2.) the bag wasn't stained when I sent it back. So I replied to their email with:

"This bag never left my house while it was in my possession and when I wasn’t looking at it to evaluate whether I wanted to keep it, it was in its dust bag. Can I please get a picture of the white stain that you say is on the bag now? "

They replied, in part, this morning with:

"Thank you for your recent return and for your patience while we have been investigating this matter further. Upon looking into this, we have decided to overturn our initial decision and as such we will be processing a refund for your Flamenco leather clutch bag. We do apologise for any inconvenience caused."

I'm not sure why they reversed their decision but I'm pleased they did as it saved me from having to pursue some sort of credit card chargeback. I've never purchased from Selfridges website before so I'm not sure if they have a more rigorous return review process than other websites or not.

I had a black Bayswater in the early 2000s and I used it all the time, but it never softened up. I think it was NVT but I'm not entirely sure. I ended up selling it because I just didn't like the texture.

I'm thinking about returning and getting the oxblood color for again a structured bag that's somewhat neutral (at least 3 season). Do you think I should go the Zipped or classic style Bays? It seems like I'd like Natural Grain better, but if you have something to say about whether that ever gets a little softer I'd love to hear it.
