Hello ladies. Would love to see some photos of your H accessories and bags with mixed hardware. For example the boots im eyeing have PHW but most of the bags I own have ghw.

Note to self: never place handbag directly under open sun roof open when there might be a sudden and unexpected downpour.

So, that's what I did. All the windows and the passenger door were open, including the sun roof. Then, bam! the sky opened up and dumped water. My gut reaction was to run around to the passenger door then come back for the windows and roof. By then, my vachetta bag was dripping wet, like this--



I picked her up and water poured off of her. I knew I should blot with a soft cotton cloth, but all I had was my poly-cotton blend tee shirt, so I started to blot. But this is not good blotting fabric, so I wiped.

Then I put her on my bed stand overnight and the next day, and she dried up perfectly! No water damage at all! These vachetta bags have some kind of coating on them. It's not the kind of raw vachetta on other bags. There are some marks from the original owner and I always wondered if they were water marks, but now I do not think so. Maybe oil or something horrible.

Bottom line--This is a great little bag that I do not baby. I added two 3-inch Mautto extensions that work beautifully. Love the mono interior which is super easy to keep clean. Totally recommend to anyone who might be considering one.

Since starting my collection and finding tPF, I have collected too many bags. I'm not alone here, eh?

I feel like I am always selling bags to lighten my load, but then a bunch more pop up and there I am again--too many bags! Love them all, but want less excess.

I'm trying to downsize to my favorite bag or two from each designer that I like. This is beyond problematic with LV. I will never get down to 1 or 2, but I need to do what I can.

I will be selling my Speedy 22 empriente in pink (the color never worked in my wardrobe), and my Keepall B 50 (super practical, but ready to part), and also my HL Speedy 1st gen from the 70s (super cute, but really do not need--darn you Autumn Beckman!). That that leaves me with the following:

Antheia in Framboise, GM (lamb). Don't use much, but too delicious to sell. Maybe super huge hobos will speak to me again, and this will be the one I will want to sling over my shoulder.

Speedy B 30, DE. The most practical bag on Earth, however, I might just let it go and focus on the more unusual pieces. Yes, I'm pretty sure I will. i just have to say it a few times.

Speedy 20, Ink (lamb, GHW). omg omg omg. So beautiful. I have my doubts on its durability (if someone can speak to this, I am all ears), but it is so lovely, I cannot part.

Speedy 20, vachetta. Doubt I will sell this. Despite the vachetta, it's kind of a daily bag for me. Funnily, I get lots of compliments from men (dude like men) on this bag. Is it a teensy too small, yeah, but just a teensy. And if I don't use my TP19, it's perfect.

So you can see, I have a problem.

Let's talk about the Epi pieces.

I've had a couple of Epis that did not suit me. A purple Madaline GM (not my style) and a Speedy 25 in yellow (awkward size on my frame).

Lordy, i am too long winded. Anyone out there still?

That leaves me with a Noe GM in black and a Keepall 40 in red, both in pretty good condition. Both are recent-ish purchases and I haven't used either much. I'm planning on taking the Keepall on a flight in a few weeks. We'll see how that goes without a strap. Kind of scared of the weight.

Neither is ergonomic. Both are fabulous looking. Neither are needed. Both are adored.

Friends, what would you do?

Hi everyone! I found a seller selling this YSL lou bag. The seller described it as white. I have never seen this bag in person. My questions are:
1. Is it chalk white, off white or cream? Just want to know before deviding to get it or not.
2. What can you say about the quality and ease of use of this bag?
3. Does it come with tassle? This is a preloved bag and the photos do not show tassle.

Have any of you tried making your own custom perfume using essential oils? I have been really into layering Atelier Cologne perfumes for a few years now and have been thinking how I should try just mixing my own scent. I'm sure it's more complicated than just putting a few drops of different essential oils into a bottle though.

We knew this partnership wouldn’t last. I hope The Gap sold enough puffy jackets for it to have been worth their while.

I bought one from Vestiare and it doesn’t have the small cloth tag attached to the lining.

So I’m really concerned about it’s authenticity. Before I panic I wanted to know if there’s been a design change.

A few years ago, there were designers offering a lot of red color knee, and OTK boots. While I see some here are there, it seems that the color has shifted to more burgundy color tones. In searching online, I didn't see too many bloggers or outfits paired much with red knee and OTK boots. Do you feel that the red are too hard to pair up with outfits in general?

I checked net-a-porter for red knee high boots, but it appears a few designers offer up only burgundy:

Hi everyone! I recently purchased the Speedy B25 Empreinte in the gorgeous Cognac color! It's my first Speedy B and smallest Speedy I've owned. I purchased a base shaper off of Amazon that had rave reviews, but when it arrived it doesn't seem to lay flat inside the bag. I'm thinking it's because the microfiber lining and base of the Speedy B is different so the interior corners aren't quite "tucked" if that describes it? Anyone have any recommendations on a base shaper you're using for an Empreinte Speedy that you'd recommend? Thanks!

I had to send in my small Triomphe belt bc the gold hardware had some discoloration after a short while.

This was in June 2022.
-After not hearing anything I sent CS an email regarding the status (8/14/22).
-I got an answer on 8/22/22 telling me that I should receive the belt within the next days. No tracking no confirmation of my address. Nothing.
-On 8/24/22 I asked for a tracking number.

Nothing.
Never heard anything back from Celine.

I now tried to contact them again via mail and WA. Still no answer…

Any idea how to proceed?

I want to have my belt back - or my money. At ruhig point I don’t care about the belt anymore tbh.
The other point is: I am really disappointed in this kind of behavior. Did you guys experience anything similar? This is my 3rd time experiencing bad CS with Celine which makes me think about not buying them anymore at all…

Indecisive gal in need of help!
I was hoping to get a tan Sunset Satchel with GHW but I can't seem to find it, and my sister has kindly offered to pick up a bag for me while she's in Paris so the savings would be great! That said, they don't currently have the satchel in beige, and I'm open to that amazing pop of red color satchel, or exploring getting the college in the beige or pop of color blue.
The sunset I think can be dressed up and down more so than the college, but as much as I'd love to think I still go out and party, I'm much more of a casual-day time party-so I can go to bed at a reasonable hour 40-something LOL. I figured if I have Loulou black/SHW and another Beige w GHW bag I'd be set, but I've also always wanted a bag with a pop of color haha!

I wanted fashion sneakers and was googling different one.... bought these cool, (I thought) sneakers online, there was no logo on the picture. I received them and it says Balenciaga on them. But there was no logo on the picture on the website?!?!? AND they are a size too small, I asked my niece if she wants them she said no. so I posted on Ebay fo 25$ but it got put down for counterfeit. Should I just give to Good will?

Last week I got a call from my SA that she had received a Birkin that fit my specs - a Birkin 25 in Beton Togo leather with GHW. I had wished for either black, grey or beige (neutral) color with GHW and never in a million years I expected a rare color like Beton to come around!

So today I went to the store to go to see it - I was lost for words as it is absolutely stunning!!! Beton is such an amazingly beautiful and elegant color, especially with the gold hardware as it is a warm toned light grey. I'm over the moon since this is my first Birkin. She also suggested a perfectly matching twilly for it, which I would have never picked out myself but is the perfect fit. I also got a linen Fourbi insert in size 20 which fits perfectly.

Since its my birthday in 2 weeks, I decided to leave her in store and pick her up on my birthday.

I bought my first chanel bag, a square mini in caviar, and I got it pre-loved in great condition. I have a couple things I was wondering about if you could share your wisdom.

The bag doesn’t have stitching around the edge. Some bags do and some bags don’t, is this normal?

It was more expensive than getting a lambskin bag in store, I’ve heard this is normal right?

Does anyone have any tips for cleaning the inside of a Damier Ebene mini pochette (including products to use)? I have seen some great tutorials on YouTube, with larger LV bags that were turned inside out for cleaning, but I am not sure the mini-pochette can be safely turned inside out? Is it possible to turn the mini-pochette inside-out without damaging it (if so, any tips for doing it?)? I tried, but it was difficult and I did not want to damage the bag or crack the canvas, so I stopped trying.
