Hi! I have come across what I hope is an authentic birkin that is almost affordable to me. It is in probably my least favourite colour of all! Is it possible to dye it a different colour with leather dye? It is currently pink Togo, according to the listing.

I should note that preloved birkins are hard to find in the country I live in, especially at a price within my very modest budget. Therefore I believe this is one of my only options.

Hi, I'm new to Cartier and purchased a RG love ring recently. Is it normal for Cartier to sell rings that have probably already been tried on by others and already have scratches on them?

Background:
In the store the SA only gave me two rings to choose from. Both were a little scratched with what I thought were hairline scratches. I wasn't sure if that was normal or if there was an option to ask for a brand new ring that had never been tried on by anyone so I just picked one of the two. The next morning when I was putting the ring on I noticed a deep scratch through one of the screw motifs and texted my SA to let her know. Unfortunately I ended up texting the wrong number and I didn't realize it until almost a week later when I double checked the number. I finally got in touch with the SA and brought the ring back to the store. During the week I was waiting for a reply I did not wear the ring (it was really hard not to though!!).

However, the SA looked at the ring and told me the scratches implied I already wore it and therefore not eligible for exchange. She said she would have noticed all the scratches before selling it to me. She did try to polish it, which removed some of the hairline scratches but not the deep scratch. I was extremely disappointed because the ring was sold to me in that condition.

Back to my original questions - is it normal to be sold a ring with scratches already on it and not be given options to select unworn, untried on rings?

Hello, I have this beautiful vintage Chanel bag but its condition is so bad now. I bought it 3 years ago and it was already color stained on the back and the chain, but I kept wearing it on black outfits and the condition became worse Also I feel it’s no longer shiny on the front because I tried wipes on it, so it made it more matte

I was wondering if I can restore it or fix it? Can leather surgeons fix it? Do I try to do it at home using Zeko’s tips video of using wipes and white eraser? or it’s a hopeless case and I should just wear it and enjoy it like this?

I was wondering if anyone’s ordered anything from this brand? Their style and fabrication seems to be similar to Reiss:

I own 3 YSL pieces. Toy Lou Lou, Camera Bag, and Uptown Clutch. I hoping to invest in a bigger YSL piece. While doing research on what bigger piece I want to own, I ran into observations and hope you can help me with these 3 questions:

1. How come majority of Saint Laurent bags are flap bags? The only two I dont see is uptown tote, or e/w tote. There is not one satchel! Why is that?
2. Why is the resale market not so great for YSL bags? If I try to sell my Toy LouLou, I will be low balled for it at consignment shops or FF/RealReal. Why doesnt YSL hold their value on their bags? I love the leather, why is it shunned?
3. I read that Saint Laurent stores return and exchange is not so great either. Is this true? They don't refund their bags so youre stuck with it. So how do they handle factory problems after you take it home? and its not perfect.

Hi I can only find these Gucci clogs in a 42, which is slightly too big for me. I’m thinking of ordering the mens, where I can find my size. I see the heel is Lower which is fine because as you can guess from my shoe size I am quite tall. Are there other things to be aware of in the fit difference? I only found the 42 on matches fashion and need to return asap. I will try the mens Friday but wondered if anyone had experience and I should not bother?

I came cross into a thread that someone posted this bag and pointed out it fake obviously， for the canvus pattern misalignment.
I noticed that the creed was not taken a picture. with all the evidence here, i could not tell if it is fake.
Is there a saying that pattern misalignment proves to be obviously fake？

Hi everyone, I am really torn what to get for my next Chanel bag. I have two, which is a black small boy and black rectangular mini in lambskin. I decided to sell the boy bag as I haven’t been reaching for it at all recently, and I want to get a top handle bag to replace it as I don’t have any top handle bags (except for my black empriente pochette metis).

My heart is drawn towards the coco handle in small size, but I’m concerned that the size and capacity are too similar to the rectangular mini. As I have limited resources, I’m trying to make my bag collection as verstaile as I can. I could get the coco handle in medium size, but I’m 5’2 and I’m worried the bag will overwhelm me. Trendy CC in the small size is also what I was looking at. I’m sure it is very luxurious and beautiful but it is a bit on the bulky side. Also, maintaining the bag wouldn’t be as easy as cch.

If you were to get two Chanel bags and that would be the end of it, what top handle bag would you add to the rectangular mini? Or is there another Chanel bag in that price range or below that is better than these two?

So excited to share my 1st Gucci purchase. Have to say I’m impressed with the whole online ordering process and the Gucci packaging. The shipment came quickly. Very happy with this new bag and it’s more substantial than I thought it would be just watching YouTube videos and looking at pictures. I also bought a matching strap on Amazon so I see a lot of opportunities to mix and match chains, straps, etc. This is the Gucci GG Ophedia shoulder bag.

I’ve hemmed and hawed for years about getting a pair of Perlee-thin hoops in YG, bc I tend to wear bigger hoops. Now that the new-Perlee collection is coming out, I wanted some advice. I’m looking to get a pair, hopefully of older ones, bc the pricing is better, lol, probably the ones that are just over an inch, although bigger ones are fine too.

What dimensions did they come in, and also, why did some click close all the way around and some are open and close with a La Pousette.

Also, companies like Lagos have similar ones for way less, which is why I’ve never bought them, but I guess with the new-Perlee collection, I’m tempted.
