Last month in London I purchased a pair of sunglasses at New Bond. I'd been trying on the various Mon Monogram styles with a lovely CA, decided on Round, and didn't discover until I returned home that I was actually given the Square! They were so nicely packaged I didn't open the box until I was back.

Took them to the LV Hudson Yards because it's a block from my office, and the CA there could not have been more wonderful or gracious. He profusely apologized for the error, said their main priority is for me to be happy and as we were talking (I was pouring out my love for LV sunglasses and the ones I have collected), suggested I could try on all different styles to make sure I was truly happy. The Round were indeed what I wanted, but this store had the E size that New Bond was out of, and they fit even better! We played in the fragrances and browsed RTW before I had to run back to work, and he quickly processed the exchange. It was a great experience and I highly recommend the Hudson Yards store! It was large and bright (I believe it's been open only a year?), not crowded, and a pleasure to browse. A great experience that led me wanting to buy more, and from this CA specifically.

Excuse my naivety, but I know there is an online service that will authenticate products for you, and provide a certificate declaring that they believe it is authentic.
I cannot for the life of me remember their name. Does anyone know who I am thinking about?

Hey all! Has anyone actually see what info the chip reader in store will be displayed on the SA's app? I am wondering if I will have issues taking in a pre-loved bag that is chipped. Is it linked to the purchaser? My bag is chipped and also stamped with the employee purchase logo. Will I have issues getting repairs? Or are the chips pre made and not able to be altered/ updated with purchaser info?

This happened yesterday and is yet another reason to always have a SA or somebody who you've done business with multiple times. I always ask for the repair manager and this time he was in a meeting of some sort. So I was stuck with this employee who I've seen a few times but I think is relatively new. He proceeds to tell me he thinks my Scott Messenger is questionable because the main bag didn't have a date tag (lol) and secondly was bringing up the fact that it wasn't under my profile since it had the eBay authentication tags still on it. He verified with the repair manager that they can't order it since it was not under my account. I was appalled as I know this isn't correct, and the fact that he was trying to say it was fact was sad. So a few questions:

-Do bags with multiple accessories, ex Multi Pochette Accessory, have date tags or the new RFID tags in each piece?
-Guess the salesperson was dissuaded to help since the eBay authentication tags were still on?
-Have the policies changed? Having the product in person or sending pictures of the receipt has always gotten spare parts.

I’ve been wanting a Mahina L for years and years. Unfortunately, it had long been discontinued by the time I got into LV. So I was low-key searching for a pre-loved one that was in good shape. I knew I wanted a neutral color, but wasn’t sure which one. This one in elephant gris popped up on Fashionphile recently and I had to have it! The condition was described as “excellent,” but I think it’s even better than that! There’s a tiny bit of cracking to the glazing on one handle, but it’s very minor and the bag is pretty much perfect other than that. I’m so in love!!! This was my first experience with Fashionphile and I couldn’t be happier!

Hi! I have been looking into the small gate bag and couldn’t find much. I thought it was a classic but it does not seem to be that popular. Any thoughts on it, good or bad? Prices on bags are just astronomical these days and I don’t want to make a regrettable decision. I don’t have a hole I want to fill in my purse collection but more so that I am drawn to it. Hello there! Looking for some expertise from some kind TPF members to help me out. I lost one my pearl buckle earrings several months ago and found what I hoped to be a replacement on eBay. While I was there, found another beautiful pair of earrings that I spontaneously purchased, which is very surprising for me as I have been burned on eBay before. Would any of the DY experts out there be able to help me authenticate these two pairs of earrings please? These are the photos from the listing or seller, but I did receive both pairs and can take additional photos as needed. Much appreciated in advance.

I've been seeing the In-the-Loop 18 Bag on various IG posts. Has anyone here bought one? I'm curious as to how this compares to the Picotin 18 - would love to see photos, including comparison photos/modeling shots. I thought the former would be a good alternative to the Picotins.

As background, I already have a black Chanel CF, a black epi LV Alma and a black Chanel Tote.

So initially I was thinking getting the grey LD since my current bags are all black but I feel maybe I should still get the black LD since it is so classic and have it joined the family (classic Chanel, LV and Dior)? I wear a fair bit of black…and would like to get one in the colour that is easy to match with clothing and carefree of colour transfer. Yes this sounds like black but I kept on going back and forth. Help!!! Which colour would you pick?

I put myself on a complete ban after buying the Speedy. Honestly I just look at how much I spend on the bag, I felt no more purchases.

Now I think I’m ready to pull the trigger to allow my bag to have a little sister-speedy 25.

Has anyone ever had their JUC ring resized to a larger size at a Cartier store? I once phoned Cartier and they said that they don't or can't do resizing of this style of ring. Is this true? Has anyone had any experience in this area? I also wonder if I should ask another jeweler (non Cartier) to do this for me.

Any tips for getting your scarves cleaned and not getting the hems flattened? I have an almost new scarf that sadly needs to be cleaned. The last time I sent one off, it came back with hems flat as pancakes, even though I begged them not to press it like that. Do you send yours somewhere special?

I’m still thinking about the pochette metis and i’m curious about the lock and that it is difficult to close. How it works? Do both buttons have to be pushed to the center? I saw a video and the guy was pushing the left button to the right the right button do not moves.
Another thing i’m curious is if i buy a pochette metis through their website in Europe, how do i know where it comes from? Does it has a chip? I called a LV customer service person and she told me that she couldn’t tell where precisely the bag would come from and that they do not know what the people of the ateliers put in or don’t put in the bags.That the chips are not active and the purpose is for refurbishments and repaired for the future. But didn’t told me if the bag indeed had a chip.
Why they don’t give me this information?
Now i’m a bit dissapointed because if i buy a handbag so expensive it’s nice to know this information for the future maybe i want to sell it.
