Does chanel in canada specifically in toronto area accept repair for a vintage chanel classic flap. One of the corners has peeled and would need a spa. And any idea how much would it cost? Thanks

Tried it on in the store and am really taken by it. But it doesn’t seem to be very popular. Curious to see what people think about it. Is it an everyday piece?

I tried the sweet Alhambra bracelet in Carnelian and was shown two options. They looked pretty much the same with brown/burgundy undertones. Is this the typical color of VCA’s carnelians? I was wondering if there were brighter, or truer red hues. I’ll try another store next week, but wondering if anyone had any to compare?

Can CHANEL Caviar Quilted Medium Fashion Therapy Flap Bag be carried as a shoulder bag? Thank you!

I purchased a medium classic flap caviar in SHW 2 years ago. Pretty soon after I totally regretted getting it in silver and wish I had gotten it gold. My bag is in perfect condition and looks brand new. I don’t have a Chanel boutique near me. Closest location is 3 hours away inside a Neiman Marcus. Has anyone changed the color of their hardware? Would love it if hardware was gold! Is this something Chanel would be willing to do?

I’ve been buying Hermes products for years on and off. Anyway, I’ve never ran into this.
I recently had tons of pressure to buy a Kelly that I’ve never seen. I wasn’t sure if I’d like the size and color. The only way I could buy the bag was to agree for my SA to take off the cellophane. I wasn’t going to do that unless I saw the Kelly. Anyway, I refused it because it was ridiculous. I mean how can you buy anything without seeing it? Is this the way Hermes is conducting business right now? Has anyone had this happen to them!?!

I am looking at my first Chanel bag, the small double flap has been on my wishlist for a long time, and was the one I was planning on buying first, however, I have now discovered the mini square flap and I am in love with it ! It's just more appealing to my eye, my only reservation is that the strap does not double up to wear as a short shoulder bag.. so wanted some opinions from you guys - also, does it also work as an evening bag? Please share your pros/cons and practicality of the bag and any other recommendations! Thanks a lot !!!

Just happened to walk past a Chanel store and there was no queue so decided to pop in and see what was left. I expected slim pickings as it was an hour to closing but lo and behold! The store had 2 really cute minis!

Here’s the problem. One is a tweed (seasonal mini square) and one is white (mini reissue)! I’m worried about how tweeds will wear over time - will they fuzz badly? Will they pill badly? And I’m worried that the white will yellow over time and of course, I worry about stains and colour transfer.

If either was a dark coloured leather, the choice would have been clear! (Eg: black, grey, red, navy…)

So, calling on the experts here to share their honest opinions! Which one should I get?!

Would love some extra opinions... I am looking for a special watch and thought I'd love the classic Tank, thought it looked modern and clean. But I didn't love the proportions in real life, and found it a bit unremarkable on my wrist for some reason! But I've loved it on friends.

I did like the look of the Panthere though.... Attaching pictures of my stack. I thought it might be too fussy or old fashioned but actually I think it suits me better... any other thoughts or suggestions on watch styles? (Also doesn't have to be Cartier... Haven't explored other brands yet) .

I just picked these up at the Wynn Las Vegas. When I got back to my room, I realized they were alternative fit. I don’t have a low nose bridge and I don’t generally look for sunglasses with that fit. I went back down to the boutique and found out the standard fit is sold out (fun fact: almost every pair of sunnies at the Wynn Chanel is alternative fit - go there if you need this!).

Does it really make that much of a difference if you wear alternative fit sunglasses and don’t have a low nose bridge? Is it less flattering for other nose bridge types? I’m inclined to just keep them as is, but I sure wish I could track down a standard pair to compare.

I'm looking for a new, large leather bag for every day (I don't change my bags out frequently). My daily wardrobe consists of scrubs, but I don't want the bag to look out of place if I need to occasionally put on a suit.

Not sure if a tote or crossbody where the strap could be shortened to make it a shoulder bag would be better (or with interchangeable straps). And would a hobo style drive me nuts or be good?
I would like:
- the top to close somehow - zipper, magnet, turnlock
- some pockets but am not opposed to buying a purse organizer
- larger size (I want to be able to throw a compact umbrella if raining or small purchase if out and about)
- no tassles or thin, hanging straps
- prefer not to have contrast stitching (white stitching on proenza Schouler White Label Baxter Leather Shoulder Bag in black was too noticeable to me)
- live in a climate that requires heavy winter coats this time of year

For crossbodies, I have been looking at Polene Numero Dix Hobo, Ferragamo Glam Hobo, Callista Saddle Bag, and Mulberry Iris Hobo. Would you recommend any of these? Not sure if a hobo style will drive me nuts. I have purchased and returned several totes that disappointed me and am worried I'll make another bad purchasing decision. THANK YOU!
