Hey all! what do you guys think of this bag? I believe it’s from last years spring collection? I kind of hated it at first but then I saw they had a mini one and I’m so obsessed! debating on purchasing for spring but I’m unsure since this would be my first denim bag!

Given the hefty price tag for Chanel bags now, which bags do you think are still worth it? Would love to hear some thoughts on it!
Personally, I think bags like the coco handle, seasonal caviar flap bags and maybe the Chanel 19 are still good buys. I still want to continue purchasing more Chanel and wondering if there are bags I'm overlooking.

I may have just purchased the Canada Goose x Reformation puffer because I think it’s just beautiful. Over priced… yes… but still beautiful. Do you think this piece is too trendy for length and pattern? I guess it’s reversible to black so that will help longevity?

Hi! I just received my small 19 that was shipped to me today from the boutique, and was wanting a goatskin from 20A... however, I just looked at the tag and it says it’s from 20B. Are the 19 bags from 20B lambskin or goatskin? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

Hello! I am looking for advice. I want to buy a diamond solitaire necklace around 1ct. I want something that is classic and can be worn everyday. I am just unsure if I should get a floating diamond necklace, bezel, or halo. I am not a petite lady. I also don’t know if I should get white or yellow gold. My everyday jewelry is my white gold emerald engagement ring, pave diamond wedding band, and 2 cttw diamond studs in white gold. Just because my earrings and ring are white gold I don’t necessarily think the necklace has to be as well. I am light- medium complexion, with neutral undertones. I just want something that I will get lots of use out of. I am thinking princess cut. Please help!

So my dear WOC is a bit stressed. It’s over a decade old. Is it worth having it refreshed/spa service by LS or better to sell it (full disclosure of course) and rebuy while prices are semi decent? I’ve never sent a bag in for spa service so I don’t know how much can be be done or to what degree it’s worth it/temporary/etc.

I’m also not sure how if even possible to address the bottom sag.

I got a notification that the LV x YK speedy nano was available online and just hit buy without thinking too much.

It’s soo cute and it fits the essentials but for some reason I am just not in love with it.
I do wish it was the speedy 20 size and I find mine has more blue dots than other colors.

But it’s was a bit hard to get and I think will be a collectors piece in the future so I’m just not sure if I should return.

It’s a lot of money for a bag I don’t love though.

Anyone give me their 2 cents on this?

I have bought a Chanel Filigree vanity case from a reputable seller. Everything looks good (stitching, stamp, certificate etc) except the large CC lock. The writing on it seems not as clear as some of the ones I saw online (especially “Paris”).
Is this normal or should I be concerned?

I had a pawn shop find vintage cocktail Diamond and ruby ring. Think something like this:

It sat super high making it difficult to wear and even if it had been lower it is quite dated. Just wanted to share what my jeweler was able to do, with plenty of stones left over. I was struggling to find examples before just jumping in so hopefully this could help someone

Hello! I was hoping you lovely TPFers could help me with some decisions on how to best build my VCA collection. I currently have the Vintage Alhambra Earrings in YG with white MOP, this was my first piece from VCA. Recently, hubby gifted me one of my dream pieces for a special occasion, it is the YG and diamond Vintage alhambra pendant. The two pieces go well together, and I wear them when I dress up, but for me personally, it's a bit overkill for every day wear. I am usually just a casual athleta wearing mom!

I am now looking to create my every day VCA set. It needs to be durable and can get wet, as I am a busy mom and just don't take my jewelry off and on. (I currently wear WG diamond huggies for earrings and almost never change them.) I was looking to get a sweet alhambra earring, but they only sell the hammered style in RG. It would be the only piece of RG jewelry that I own, and am afraid it would just not look right if I wore my YG/Diamond pendant with it. I also currently wear one YG Cartier Love bangle, and am wanting to get a VCA Vintage 5 motif hammered bracelet, but don't know which one to get. Do I get a RG to match the sweet earrings, but the diamond pendant will not match? Or do I get a YG bracelet to match the pendant, but then the earrings are kind of odd in RG? Does anyone have any similar combinations that they could show me? I would be greatly appreciative of any input! If I could get mulitple pieces to swap in and out, then I would, but it's not in my near future!

When I went into the Loewe store to check on the new Loewe x HMC collection, I fell in love with sunglasses I tried while waiting for my SA!

I actually saw them beforehand on a TikTok video, but didn‘t expect them to be so cool in person, so I wanted to show you, because I totally love those!

They are called inflated mask sunglasses and it came with a great dark blue leather case with clip! There was another more cateye type of model, which did not suit me. But this one? Fab…!

I am looking for an insert for my cabat and having a hard time finding anything suitable in the larger size.

I want something as light weight as possible since the bag already weighs enough empty. It should also provide some structure to keep it up right but mostly to keep all my stuff from rolling around.

My bag is calf so it is fairly stiff already. (Colour shadow)

Using pouches alone unfortunately is not an option as the bag is simply too big for that and still just swallows everything.

But a beautiful sight to behold nevertheless

Rough measurements, base 48x23 cm and height 33cm. (It follows similar measurements to the new large model just not as tall)

- Any advice on suitable insert in good quality? (Custom made might be the way to go here?)

Please also share any pics of organisers you use and if you’re happy with it?

Today I received my Triomphe WOC which I ordered directly in the Celine website. I have watched a few unboxing/reviews beforehand and thought my WOC would arrive in a comparable condition.

So I was pretty surprised (not in a good way) when I opened the package and found a bag without any stickers, padding etc. just inside the dustbag.

The chain was just tucked in the bag, it had no padding, no wrap or plastic. Also the Triomphe hardware was without any protection sticker.

Is this normal? Did anybody experience the same?

I am pretty disappointed.

So I absolutely hate scratches. So much so that it affects how often I want to use a bag once it happens. So I have found a solution that works for me and is 100% safe.

I use a glossy clear "hard" top coat nail polish on the CC turnlock where it can get bumped and scratches or scuffed and also on the grommets where the chain comes through where the chain can rub over time causing wear.

It is completely invisible once dry unlike the stickers, and best part is if the top coat gets dull or scratched you can use nail polish remover and and a q tip (ear bud or whatever you call them) to remove it and reapply a fresh new coat. This has kept my chanel HW looking absolutely brand new! Just be careful if removing to not get acetone nail polish remover on the leather as I dont know how it would affect it hence using q tips for more precise work.

What do you do to protect your HW? Stickers? Clear coat? Just leave it bare?

Is the Capucines handbags considered a classic or is it just a super hyped handbag? The price has gone up so much since it was first introduced in 2013. I saw it on display at LV boutique and tried on the BB size in black. I didn't think I would like it so much but it's actually very nice and sturdy and the leather is not as delicate as Chanel or Lady Dior. The price has gone up so much, $6750 for a BB size and I'm sure the price will only go on the next price increase so I'm thinking of buying it before that happens but is it worth it? Please let me know your thoughts and experience about this handbag if you have it. Thanks!
