I got bored and decided to do start a poll to see what other fellow TPF-ers think of when it comes to their favourite Loewe bag!
According to the Loewe website, there are 8 "categories" listed, to which I will use as reference to create the poll, namely the Puzzle, Flamenco, Gate, Hammock, Amazona, Goya, Luna, Cubi.
Of course there are other wonderful bags such as the basket bags, the elephant bags, the bunny bags etc, but to simplify things I shall just keep it to these 8.

I want to buy white gold vintage piece so if anyone has own one for several year please help me.What is the wear and tear of white gold pieces? Do they loose the shine after few years of wear? I heard there is some coat for white gold, I have my rose gold piece for more than a year and it's still sparkle.

I am adding vintage Chanel to my collection as there’s something about these older pieces. Maybe it’s the 24k hardware, the lovely aged soft leather, or the simplicity and timeless appeal of the purses— vintage purse shopping has proven to be a fun treasure hunt!

Sharing some pics of this lovely piece I got recently. I love how it can be worn as a high crossbody as well. I initially thought of sending it to Leather Surgeons for restoration but when I saw it in person, it looked like it can hold off on it a bit. Yes, the hardware needs to be redipped but only if you look closely. I think I’ll enjoy it as it is for now. ❤️
As an aside, would love to know your thoughts/ experiences on having vintage purses restored.

I bought a black Artois MM at the boutique in NY and adore it. I adored it so much that I then tracked down a burgundy via distance sale. The problem is that I don't reach for burgundy because black suits all my needs and serves a similar purpose. Should I sell burgundy for a more different summer-friendly color like orange or yellow? Bonus is that I could buy from the boutique again instead of distance saleand have another wonderful memory. Thanks, folks!

I’m looking to get my very first piece. I am set on a single pendant for everyday wear I don’t have to baby too much. I am thinking the Vintage Alhambra Onyx or the Guilloche in yellow gold or white gold.

Are there other options I am not considering? I have a lot of YG jewelry in Cartier. Thinking a YG Guilloche would be lovely, but I’m also drawn to the WG. I wear a lot of black and solid colors.

I’m selling my black Crystal Hourgass bag which retails for $6850 and is in basically brand new condition and I received an absolutely SHOCKING quote!
It was an impulse purchase and totally irresponsible so I need to sell but DANG I am not going to give it away?
I thought these bags were special and sought after. Am I wrong or does Yoogis just have NO CLUE what this bag is?

Hi, just purchased my first Lady Dior in mini size, Lotus pink colour.

The colour is pretty kind of pink, lavender silvery but seriously having second thoughts. Shall I exchange for black?

I already have 2 chanel black mini bags which is why I didn't want to buy another black mini bag but now... I feel this lambskin lotus pink is very fragile. However, someone told me that lotus pink is a hard to find colour, is this actually true? Shall I keep and buy a black one later? Do I really need 2 mini Lady Dior... ?

I kept the sangles on my Kelly buckled and the stitching left a minor indentation (it's not pressed in, but it's a slight mark?). Ugh, I should have known better and put the felt cloth on, but has anyone had this issue and does it fade away? If not, is this something that the spa can help with? TIA

i'm seeing a lot of the fur sandals - whether they are the uggs fluffy slides with the elastic back or the birkenstocks in shearling? i think ive seen hermes in shearling too!

they are cute and i kind of want to get a pair but when would you wear these? with socks when it isn't that cold? when youre not going too far? my friends have said that i should get it for the house but i dont think i would wear these inside my home.

i guess this is the same question that i had about the gucci provincetown mules with the fur - i love the look of them but i associate fur with really cold weather and i wouldnt know when to wear them.

How can you prevent a Vintage Chanels (gold imprint) label disintegrating, it happens to new Chanels ballet flats too. Is there a way to avoid it? or fix it?

I’ve checked the pre-loved market, it looks like there are only Cahier with Saffino leather on the flap head, plus there are not a lot of white bags for sale. While the resale value for these versions doesn’t seem very high, I have no idea what the resale value for this all smooth leather Cahier edition is going to be.

I really love the white all smooth leather look of this current Cahier, so honestly I don’t intend to sell. I’m just trying to rationalize any purchase I make, especially for a bag almost $5k!

Serpenti viper ring owners! Do you find the ring comfortable for daily wear? I'd hate for the 'scales' to be uncomfortable against fingers beside it, or the head/tail to get caught in things. And, do you think it's too much / flashy for day-to-day wear?

Torn between the color for my first puffer bag (both in small)...unfortunately, I CANNOT keep both - as much as I want to!

Facts: I own a black medium/large Niki bag with gunmetal chains and the YSL logo in monochrome black. I love it, use it constantly, and it's definitely one of my favorites in my collection.
I also own the YSL 80's vanity bag in black (with slightly puffy quilting in black "caviar" grain), antique gold hardware. I don't wear it as often, as it's smaller, but I love it as well for its unique shape and the ability to see all my stuff at once when I open the bag.

I'm lucky to say that I have a lot of bags (too many) from various designers, so while I will "stay" in a bag for weeks if I adore it, I change in and out of bags pretty often.

I want a Saint Laurent that is NOT black. The puffer bag caught my attention for all the reasons mentioned in the puffer thread - gorgeous craftsmanship, roominess, aesthetic vibe, puffy and touchable quilting - so luxurious!

The pale jaune was my first immediate love (it looks like buttercream frosting in real life - these pics do not do it justice) -- it's a rarer color for YSL, which I love, and it's elegant and delicious looking. Perfect for late winter (hello climate change! Feb/March -->September, at least). Worries? I'm going to LOVE this bag because of this style, and I'm going to want to wear it often. Concerned about constantly using my fingers to open this (very) light-colored bag, which could lead to added dirt. I wear mostly shorts, skirts, and dresses in the spring and summer, so I'm not concerned about color transfer from blue denim in the warmer months.

The dark miele is STUNNING. GORGEOUS, year-round neutral...I LOVE this neutral shade, and that it's a different spin on the normal "tan" - to me, it looks like cognac. I'd wear this constantly without worry about handprints, etc. I could squeeze it constantly (seriously - that is one of the benefits of this comfort bag) - and not worry about dirt. If I didn't own any other Saint Laurents, I would be obsessed over this color. It's such a rich, saturated shade of honey!!!

Usually, I try to live by Erma Bombeck's quote on my signature below, and I try to avoid being scared by a bag because of its practicality (or lack of). But if I'm going to use this bag a lot (which I will), then...??? Honestly, I am torn.

Do you have a small vanity? Do you love it? I just bought the small vanity with a top handle in beige and I’m unsure whether to keep or return. On the one hand it was well within my budget, looks super chic, and perfect for brunch or nights out (I was considering the small Jodie from Bottega but I’m just in my Chanel season). It also unexpectedly fits my phone and much more. I’ve really wanted a mini flap but can’t seem to find what I’m looking for. On the cons side, I’m worried about color transfer with it being beige and the zipper being slightly annoying to open and close. I figure when I’m at brunch or dinners out I won’t be in my bag as much when shopping or something more casual. I’m also generally a silver hardware girl but the light gold against the beige is really lovely. Does everyone us this mainly as an evening bag? Let me know what you think - to keep or return?

I'm currently stuck between the Chain Shoulder Triomphe, Chain Besace Triomphe, the Trapeze Triomphe, the Mini 16 and the Mini Besace Triomphe..... Please do let me know your thoughts and opinions on wear and tear, practicality and which one you would go for...

Does anyone prefer the Tiffany lock bracelet over the Cartier Love? My dilemma with the love bracelet has always been that the 16 is too small to go over my wrist bone, but the 17 is large on me and spins around. Yesterday I happened to be in Tiffany’s and decided to try on the lock bracelet with diamonds and amazingly the size small is literally between a size 16 and 17 and fit my wrist perfectly!! But, here’s the dilemma. I can only pick one and while the lock bracelet fits better, I worry about the longevity of the design in comparison to the classic love bracelet. Would love to hear opinions. Especially if anyone chose the lock over the love? Also, the diamonds showed up more as well. Price wise it’s about 1100 less.

Hi all! So I’ve decided I need to let go some bags as I’ve just ordered another, the LvxLOL Boite Chapeau. I’ve been eyeing it for awhile and snapped it up for a good price. However a lot of my bags aren’t getting much use! Here is what I have at the moment;

Pochette Metis black empreinte
Taupe Mazarine MM empreinte
Black Mazarine PM empreinte
Black Mylockme limited edition charms bag
Pochette accessoires with MPA strap and coin purse

Out of all these I use the Citadine, PM and Mazarine pm the most, and then the Onthego. I rarely use the PSM, Mazarine Mm and the Mylockme. Will I regret letting any of these go? I’d like to get rid of 2 at least, if not 3!

Should I go for onyx or MOP for vintage earrings?

on Pendant - I find onyx to be more striking.
however for earrings, I’m concerned it may fade to background with black hair half covering the ears.

Does anyone know where I can still purchase this bag in Australia? Or even overseas larger department store brands that may stock them (a lot ship to Australia). For whatever reason Selfridges won’t ship this item to Australia:
