Understanding Longchamp Le Pliage identification number

Hello! I have purchased a Longchamp Le Pliage medium tote (long handles) in the color Paper from Poshmark. I plan to have it authenticated when I receive it. Online it says how to understand the number: The first four digits indicate the style, the next three the model, and the last three the color. Does anyone know what is this bag's style number, model number, and color number? I'm hoping that will help when authenticating it. I've seen lots of helpful info online on what to look for, but have not been able to find this information. Any help is appreciated!

Help me decide on my next QB. Thank you

Hi there, first world problem here… I would need some help on what to add as my next QB.
I currently own:
-B25 black Togo GHW
-B35 black Togo PHW
-Mini Kelly black chèvre GHW (special order).

I do want to add another QB in my collection however I cannot decide on the model.
-Would you do a:

-B25 GHW Togo retourné Craie, Nata, Étoupe or Gold
-Kelly sellier 25 or 28 GHW in black, dark blue (bleu de Prusse or bleu nuit) craie, Nata, étoupe or gold
-Mini Kelly in Nata GHW

Having a hard time deciding. I do wear a lot of black, beige, white, navy. Thanks for your advices folks ❤️

Can you get items bought from grey market being serviced at the boutique ?

I know certain items like cartier jewelries , all of van cleef lines , and bags like louis vuitton and chanel only sell their products at the boutique and that's it. So their numbers are all registered in the system and I assume they also know when and where it's purchased in a system.

It makes me wonder what happens if you purchase item from grey market like jomashop ??? These stores sell brand new unused, usually ones that were overstocked so they buy then in bulk and sell them to retailers for cheap .....

If I buy something from said bvlgari item from jomashop (they don't provide certificate) , it will NOt be registered on bvlgari database as who purchased it cuz it's sold I'm grey market

Do they still service it??? Or do they only have re ords of authenticity and not beyond who

Hac 40 or Kelly voyage 50

Hey there! I’m considering getting the Kelly Voyage 50. Since I’m not near a showroom, I had a few questions.

1. Is the Kelly Voyage 40/50 a quota bag, or can I purchase one if it’s available on the day?
2. I noticed that some larger Kelly bags have a zip at the back, while others don’t. I prefer the zippered one, so could you please let me know the model name for that?
3. By the way, David Beckham was recently photographed carrying a Hermes Kelly. Was that the Kelly Voyage 50?

How challenging is it to obtain the HAC 40? My wife and I were at the store when they had the HAC in stock. Although it’s not a quota bag, is it difficult to get? I have the Gold togo with Pladium, but I would prefer a darker color like Navy or Black.

I was considering either getting a HAC 40 in a darker color or the Kelly Voyage 50.

Handbag color "Formula" for your wardrobe

Just curious if anyone has a "formula" for types of colors or how they incorporate color into their handbag collection.

I just feel like color has become very "trend" oriented. For example, over the past year or two, we see a lot of pastel colors. Even in the winter, people were wearing their rose darling/vert peppermint/etc. Or the heavy recent wave of Rouge H. I don't see many electric colors to be as popular as they once were. People used to rock bright red or bright green bags during any season. Particularly when it comes to QB, I worry to spend that much on a bag that I potentially wouldn't use.

For example - I know it isn't considered a QB in some stores, but I have a Vert Yucca C18 that I struggle to wear. Yet, I have so many friends who say green would be their #1 color and give so much praise to my purse. I like the bag plenty, but that shade of green isn't perfect to me (the way I find 5P to be a perfect pink or Bleu Frieda to be a perfect blue). I wonder if I did have a more "perfect to me" shade, if perhaps I'd wear it more often. I know a lot of it is personal style/lifestyle/location.

TLDR - How do you incorporate color into your handbag collection? Do you choose to stay towards pastels, jewel tones, electric colors, etc? How do you not succumb to what is "trendy" when it comes to shades of color? Do you first collect your personal version of neutrals?

Hermes made in China?

In recent days, I’ve come across several social media posts claiming that many luxury leather goods, including those from Hermès, are primarily manufactured in China. Has anyone else heard about this? What are your thoughts? I’m skeptical, but at the same time, I’ve always wondered how some replicas manage to be so well-made.

Garnet or Blue Topaz? Help me choose!!

Which stone do you like better? I like the blue topaz for summer, however I’m wondering if Garnet is more versatile for year round wear. This garnet is a more pink/purple than red.
I wanted to add some color to my everyday jewelry and I love mixing metals so this seemed like a good addition. Still have to try on, these pics are from my SA. Thank you! 🩵🩷

Black empriente question

Hey everyone! I have a question for black empriente owners. I just got my on the go pm. It took three tries to find a “good” one. I’ve had my bag for six weeks and it looks like the black is rubbing off on the strap and some places on the bottom of the bag. It’s not glue. And I am by no means rough on my bags, I baby them. I’ve used this bag for maybe a total of five hours since I’ve gotten it. I’m just Curious if anyone else has had this problem. This is literally the sixth quality issue I’ve had over the last year and I’m really considering moving on form LV, which makes me so sad as I’ve watched quality decline over the fifteen years I’ve been shopping with them. I have a black empriente twinset that’s 11 years old and I’ve used it like crazy and still looks perfect. Ugh. Thanks for any input anyone has!

Yearly Co Price Increase Happening Tomorrow

Happy Sunday everyone!
Yearly Co is raising the prices of their 14k gold bangles again tomorrow. Even though it wasn’t in my budget, I did manage to squeeze in a thin twist bangle.
I got a code in the mail, I will share it here, maybe it will work for you, it’s an additional $50 off of a purchase of $300 of more:
MDAY50
I hope this helps everyone save a few bucks!
I hope this is ok to post, please remove if not ok.

Hermes Marbella

Hi everyone,

I couldn’t find a dedicated thread for the Hermès Marbella boutique, so I decided to start one to connect with fellow fans and share news and insights.

The hot season is approaching, and I’ve heard they’re planning to launch a new format this summer: a pop-up store nearby, focused on shoes and beachwear, while the main boutique will continue offering prêt-à-porter pieces and bags.

This is meant to help avoid overcrowding, as last summer the queues in front of the store were really not ideal — definitely not the healthiest situation.

Looking forward to hearing about your experiences with the store! If you have any questions about Hermès in Marbella, feel free to ask — lots of visitors are expected this season.

Shipping stuff but want to keep my bags safe and dry!

Hi all

I’m about to ship all of my stuff across the world and so it’s going to be in a container on the sea for up to 20 weeks!!! Ahhh!! I’m most concerned about my bags, the most valuable and precious of which are my Chanel’s and some LVs etc. Plus some shoes

I’ve tried to read up on other peoples storage threads etc so I’m planning on trying to take as many bags with me when I fly as possible in my hand luggage (I don’t want to put it into my checked luggage in case it gets stolen as we are stopping over in two different locations before we get to our final destination). This will mean I still need to ship most of my bags so I’m planning on wrapping felt around the chains to prevent indentations, then put the bags into their dust bag then into their original Chanel etc box. I will put in some silica sachets, I’ve read here that Wisedry is good. Then to perhaps put the cardboard boxes into a large plastic box, you know those storage container types one you can buy for underbed storage etc. I am most worried about water damage as they will be on the high seas for a while :( should I also maybe wrap the plastic containers in cellophane too?

Any other help or advice much appreciated!!!

Soft trunk wallet

Hi peeps, I was thinking about getting a kind of bigger wallet which can be worn crossbody and stumbled over the soft trunk wallet, which I completely forgot about.

I mainly want something which can fit phone, cards and perhaps some tissues and my passport, when traveling. Something which is easily accessible and is not looking like a bag, so no nano bag, but rather something slimmer, clutchlike which looks sleek. Also it should be something I can wear simultaneously with my normal medium bag without looking like carrying zwo bags and fit in it. Thought the soft trunk is a perfect choice for this purpose.

I found a few Youtube reviews, but actually nothing on tpf. Do some of you own this bag/wallet and how are your experiences with it? Does it has any cons? Thank you for any insides!

Cartier JUC necklace or Tiffany Hardwear?

Hi!
I Am shopping for a statement necklace. I am between the Tiffany hardwear graduated link chain and the juste un clou (the one that’s like a bangle for your neck, not the pendant) with some diamonds on the nail head and tip . I wear diamonds during the day btw so I’d be fine wearing pave as a daily piece. I was initially going to go for the Chaumet bee my love diamond necklace but they only have rose gold which I don’t like on my skin tone for such a big piece.

I like both the Tiffany HW and the JUC and am torn. Would love to hear your opinions. Thank you.

Loewe TEAPOTS

I happened to be in Milan during Salone del Mobile and go to the Loewe TEAPOTS exhibition.
Anyone else visited?
I thought it was beautifully curated and some teapots were true beauty. Outside, in the garden was a glass house that hosted a tea ceremony once every hour (unfortunately, I had no time to attend it).
They had some special objects for sale (the Teapots from the exhibition were for sale as well and it seems that most of them were already sold out)
Here are some photos I took:

Considering the XS Fiamma but can’t find any info

I’ve been eyeing this bag because I’ve been wanting a good pop of a red going out bag, and it’s easy to find a good deal on it. But I can’t find ANYTHING about it on here, YouTube, Reddit or anything.

I know it’s small but would love to know what it fits, how the quality is, really anything at all.

I love that it has the long leather strap and short chain strap. It’s classy but also has some edge.

Any opinions out there?? Thanks!!

Loewe pebble pouch?

Hi all, I’m curious if anyone has this bag or has tried it on? I’ve always liked the dice pocket but figured it to be too small; this seems like a similar but more functional version? I also love the smooth calfskin and pebble addition.

Can I salvage this musty, stinky bag?

Apologies that this isn't actually a Minkoff-specific question, but I know a lot of us here regularly cruise Posh/eBay/etc for older bags and may have some insights, and I consider this my home board/handbag safe space. I recently received a bag from a Posher that smelled before it was even out of the mailer. It's clear it's been stored somewhere damp, and it has a strong mildew odor, strong enough that I've banished it to the garage. There's no visible signs of damage aside from the inner lining sticking to itself (weird?). I paid like $8 for it so I *could* chuck it if I had to, but I'd like to try to salvage it.

Here's the bag in question, a metallic HH Lorca (um, I guess we'll pretend it's a mini Nikki?):

The Internet says I should attack it with white vinegar, but that seems too harsh for the metallic leather. Any advice?

Even Butters wanted to get away from it!
