I love the new line Grain de Cafe, based on a heritage line. I would love to start this thread to share some photos or opinions if anyone has seen this in person. I do not have a boutique nearby, so unfortunately I do not have any photos to share.

I purchased this Neverfull MM DE for my mom in May 2021. Within the first year, with light use, we noticed the one strap beginning to peel. It started to get really bad, so we end up cutting it to prevent it from peeling more. Looking at the other strap, it looks like it's beginning to peel and will eventually have the same issue.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? What should I expect for the repair process? Should I expect to pay for the repair or will they repair this at no cost?

I wish we would have taken it for repair as soon as we noticed it started peeling, but I don't live super close to a store and am a bit nervous about going in, as I didn't have the best experience last time I had to have an item repaired.

Hi everyone! I’m trying to decide which of these two Trinity rings to get. Small model or the one with the thinner rings. Love the look of both! But not sure if there are any advantages/drawbacks to one or the other (aside from the price difference).

Nata is giving me the most trouble as it looks more pinky against white.

Hello everyone. Just noticing that there is a bit of a trend of LV redesigning current pieces in their lineup. Perhaps this could be a place to consolidate that info and share our findings. @MarryMeLV_Now inspired me with her discovery that the newer cosmetic GM no longer has the lipstick holder - but same name, price, sku.

newer sunny flat thongs have less detailing but is now more expensive…

Everytime I go to Europe, I feel like I have the same handbag dilemma. The baseline criteria: crossbody option with secure closure, capacity can be relatively small, needs to be light weight. Probably black, or a light neutral. Honestly my lululemon belt bag worked great for my last trip. But, as we also like to go luxury shopping and out to eat, I would like to carry something a little more "designer" so I feel put together in those settings. But not TOO obviously designer, if you more what I mean! Would love suggestions! I have many bags but still don't feel I have the right one for this situation yet.

I fondled a medium Andiamo in travertine at my local BV boutique recently. Pic shows it next to small Andiamos (I didn’t see a large) plus me wearing it with my Medium Cervo Loop. I’m short, 5’3. Thoughts:

IMHO Andiamo is like the love-child of a Roma and a Garda.

The straps were soft, not as stiff as I had I had expected. They felt luxe and I imagine they would soften nicely with use That said, I personally wouldn’t wear this crossbody except in the small size.

The gold accent was beautiful; I’m not usually a big hardware person on BV, but I’d make an exception for this. It’s easy to reposition the hardware to emphasize it more or less and I loved how the curves contrasted with the sharp angles of the intrecciato.

The inside was nicely finished and organized, and the top has a gentle magnet closure.

My one immediate reservation, esp maybe in light colors, is how well the strap holes will hold up to normal wear and tear from the straps moving?

This bag in a small Nero or Fondant could be tempting for me.

I bought The Attico Vitto boots in 37, they fit perfectly in the toe box and across the top of my foot but my heel slips a bit in them when I walk. I'm afraid if I go 1/2 size down (to get my heel closer to the back) the toe box will be too tight. I'm desperate to keep these but my narrow heels are making me 2nd guess the sizing. any remedies for slipping heels?

I'd love to see photos of the Panthere Ruban watch. I'm wondering what it looks like on and it isn't sold in the stores anymore so I can't try it on.

I'm here today to unveil my first LV purchase in over 12 years. I was a huge fan of LV. Made my first purchase in 2007 - a Monogram Canvas Speedy 40. Oh, I was so very proud of that bag and boy did that one purchase start a MASSIVE addiction. I became such a huge fan of the brand and I collected so many pieces in a short 4ish years. Then everything in my life changed. I had to sell off almost every item in my collection - for reasons I won't get into, but to see all the items I worked so hard for leave my home... it really broke me. I know that these are 'only' material possessions, but we work so hard for them and they're such wonderful works of art that we all appreciate. But here comes the good part. I'm finally in a good place. I'm financially independent again and I have a cushion - so if anything bad happens this time around, I won't have to sell off my possessions (higher power willing). I'm thrilled to be able to unveil my first purchase in 12 years.

Boy have things changed with LV since 2011. The packaging, the website ... THE PRICES!

The back of the Dean Backpack. I was SO looking forward to the beautiful, sewn monogram on the back of the bag, but it was CHANGED unbeknownst to me. I still love the bag, don't get me wrong... but it would've been nice to know that they changed the bag. Did anyone know about this change?

I'm watching The Last of Us and wondering what bag I would grab if I had to flee to try to survive a zombie apocalypse. It's the obvious question when thinking about a zombie apocalypse, right?

I'm thinking I would want a backpack, crossbody, and a tote. I would probably take my son's spacious and light Adidas backpack (part of a two-pack from Costco!), my LV Neverfull GM in damier ebene, and either my LV Speedy 30 MWT or my City Keepall in monogram eclipse canvas. The Speed 30 would hold more, which is a bonus when you have to leave everything else behind, but the City Keepall would be easier to run with if zombies were pursuing.

(If this very deep question has already been discussed over the years, I trust a mod to merge this thread.)

My DH has recently took me to the boutique to get me a watch for our anniversary. It is my first Cartier watch and I plan to wear it daily dressing up or down, as well as for special occasions (e.g. wedding, parties, events). After looking at a few, I was debating between a small Panthere and a small Tank Francaise, both in SS. We left the boutique with a small Panthere - we both thought it looks a bit dressier and more dainty, but still very wearable for everyday uses.

However, I came home still thinking about TF. Although it felt a bit chunkier when I tried it on in the boutique (not to the point that I am against it, just that a Panthere felt more comfortable on the wrist), I think it has this clean and sleek look to it, and Tank is how I first know Cartier watches. And now I have this dilemma…Is the Panthere a good choice (stick with my first instinct)? Should I exchange the Panthere for the TF? Should I go in to try them on again?

For a reference, I’m turning 39 this year, 5’7” size US 6, working in an office as well as a lab, and I have a 1 year old daughter.

Hi! I just purchased a reissue 227 in chevron sheepskin preloved. I’ve owned the 226 briefly but returned. I have a mini reissue and a reissue waist bag. I’ve also owned multiple classic flaps so I have an idea of how much it will fit, etc…Curious if anyone is still loving their 227s? I’m 5’6 and about 125lbs. I plan on mainly wearing it doubled on my shoulder. Modeling pics would also be amazing if anyone has them!

Hi there! I am contemplating whether I should get the black and white ombre or the grey and blue ombre for the Lizard Leather for the Classic Box.. I really love the black and white ombre but I saw a post here that it turns yellow.. A part of me says go for the grey and blue but part of me wants the black and white. I want to see others' opinions with these two colours and whether Lizard Skin is really delicate? Any pros? cons? Should I bite the bullet and get an exotic skin? Or better with the box leather?

I am considering my first Chanel purchase soon for a classic flap. I’ve been reading a lot on these forums about different types of caviar leather. Does it differ for each bag or does it tend to go by season? If it’s by season, what is the current caviar leather like for this season? I know to check to make sure the flap lays well and is straight and to check stitching. Anything else I should know? I know my local boutique tends to get one of each bag in stock at a time so I won’t be able to compare two bags side by side.
