Now that Chanel has officially entered the Hermès price pool, what are your thoughts on those brands positions in the market / luxury community? How do you feel about people comparing the two and how comes Hermès did a better job rationalizing their profit margin to the audience?

Are there online sites that sell gemstones alone, specifically in Europe?
My favourite would be alexandrite.
Or you would suggest to let the jeweler to source the stone for me directly?

It’s been 7 weeks since my package was supposed to arrive but LV says they can’t refund me until UPS approves their claim.

However, according to tracking it has always been stuck on label created, UPS has not received the package yet. So UPS is denying the claims on the basis that it was never in their possession to begin with.

The customer service reps keep telling me they cannot issue a refund or reship until the claim is approved even though it is evident based on the tracking that my package was never delivered. I keep getting told to wait for the claim to be reopened and no other solutions are being provided.

I’ve politely questioned many times why I can’t get refunded or reshipped regardless of the claim since it’s obvious based on tracking that my order was never delivered but they say they cannot do anything without an approved claim.

I’m at a loss of what to do. It will be 2 months of waiting next week and the item I ordered isn’t even in stock anymore since it’s been discontinued.

I’d open a chargeback with my credit card but I’m afraid of being banned or having my account flagged and having trouble getting service in the future with repairs or order issues.

I’d like to add a second padded cassette to my collection as I’ve seen a preloved one in a colour I love. However, I’ve read a few comments that people feel they’re starting to look dated. What’s everyone’s opinion on this? I was kind of hoping they’d stand the test of time and be a BV classic!

After my black WOC with GHW arrived in bad condition and had to be returned I went to my local Celine store.

I learnt that there is also a leather logo WOC abailable but the bag needs to be ordered. Now I am unsure…

The shiny metal logo is very appealing to me but I am also planning to buy the regular Triomphe in black with the GHW so maybe a little difference between the two bags would be nice.

Has anybody seen the cuir Triomphe logo on the Triomphe bags in person? What are your thoughts?

I’ve recently acquired a beautiful vintage Maxi XL. I’ve always loved these bags and to be honest I’ve bought it to keep more as a collector’s piece due to it’s amazing condition. However, I would like to think I may use it on occasion. It’s such a huge bag though I’m not sure I’ll be able to pull off the look! - Which (if any) do you consider to be timeless, that won’t go out of style in a few seasons? (I’m looking to build a very minimal bag collection that will last years)
- Which style is easier to maintain? (I know they’re all light colors, but maybe some are easier to keep clean due to the shape?) does white intrecciato easily get dirty in general?

I know...sounds like a strange question, but there are bag styles and sizes I wish LV currently made. Maybe LV will hear some of our wishes.lol I would love a classic mini camera bag in canvas or black epi leather. LV doesn't make one so I go to other brands to fill that void. I would also die for a mini boulogne because I love the shape and zippered closure. It would be so carefree with black trim, but the size of the bag is just too big for me.

Please pardon the interruption. I haven't seen new birkins in the 35 cm size in sometime and wonder if they are more (or less) difficult to get in the US stores? I get the sense that the 25 and 30 sizes are more requested and in more demand, do the stores still order 35 in colors like etoupe and gold? Any insights welcomed and appreciated.
