Hi all! I'm eyeing up the new nautical collection and saw a comment on another thread by someone concerned about the print showing wear over time. I haven't bought LV canvas since the early 2010s and have never owned a piece with a design printed over it. What I should expect in terms of wear and tear? I baby my bags but I'm looking to buy a piece that I can use every day over the summer and not have to worry about.

Jane Waterous, who is an artist famous for her colourful paintings, has decided to paint LV bags with the same 3-D figures. The bags can't be worn but are meant to be displayed as art. What do you think?

I am very new to Fendi! I have been stalking the website for a sequin baguette and out of nowhere, over a week ago and a purple sequin baguette somehow became available - of course, I purchased it immediately! The SA that I have been working with (who is amazing!!!) said it was likely going to be cancelled because there are no sequin baguettes left. So I ended up buying a Peekaboo with a fun strap and scarf from him. Well, just got a shipping notice that the baguette is being shipped! While I know these are VERY different bags, I was not expecting to spend $12k on bags this week lol!! So I am debating what to do. In all honesty, would you keep both bags? (and yes, I love both bags)

My best friend is going to Paris next month. I’ve been wanting a dior book tote for a while….. does anyone know the price difference ? Could she get my name embroidered same day?

I am considering trading in my Tiffany 1.39, I, VS1, ring to a preowned Tiffany 1.53, I, VVS1; both round brilliant cut stones. The specs are very similar so I would not be sacrificing anything with the upgrade. Since I am going the preowned route, (the ring was purchased at Tiffany’s however I don’t want to spend $20k to upgrade directly at Tiffany’s), is it worth it to upgrade to this size? Will the difference be noticeable? I wear a size six but have very small hands. My current T & Co. engagement ring is shown below with the smaller Embrace (now called the Forever) eternity band and the plain, platinum knife edge band. I also own the platinum Metro band which I still wear with it on occasion.

For reference, the diamond measurements are:
1.39, I, VS1 7.16 x 7.20 x 4.33 HCA score 1.3
1.53, I, VVS1 7.37 x 7.41 x 4.58. HCA score 1.4

The difference that I would have to pay the jeweler is under 8k. My dream ring is a T & Co. 1.50 solitaire.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone. I just purchased a brand new mini lady dior that came in the mail. I haven’t worn this purse at all yet. I noticed that the leather part of the strap has many wrinkles like it has been worn before? Is this how the leather strap is suppose to be? My SA told me that it’s a brand new strap and that no strap will be newer than the one I have.. I know it’s suppose to look worn with wear eventually, but I haven’t worn this at all and just received it. I have attached a picture of what I’m talking about. Would you ladies be bothered by this and return it? Or do you think this is nothing? Also the chain wasn’t stitched on completely straight on the leather . Thank you for all your input and opinions!

Hi everyone! We have a vacation planned in Hawaii this summer on the occasion of my 40th birthday and was thinking it would be sweet to pick up something from Chanel as a birthday self-gift. I have a medium classic flap in GHW caviar and am absolutely in Chanel purse peace, especially with the prices these days! However, I am toying with the idea of perhaps picking up sunglasses or SLG as my present (only other Chanel item I have is the classic long wallet). Any insights on what would be a good purchase?

I’m from Canada and have read Chanel prices are highest in the US (as well as Thailand). I suppose I can settle the thought that I’d be scoring a good idea?

If they changed the color of the tag (like they changed the dust bag), does anyone know when/ which year Kate Spade changed their green tag to the pink tag? I was referring to their tags that attached the bag when you buy them brand new from the store.

I’m asking because I found this rare Kate Spade bag that I’ve been looking for a while now, but there are two different types of tag from different seller. I suspect one of them is FAKE.

So I've set my mind that I would like to get a pair of diamond earrings this year, and it would be down to the pair of either (1) Vintage Alhambra Pave Diamonds in White Gold or (2) Small Frivole Pave Diamonds in Rose Gold with Pink Sapphire. I've even decided to pass the Lucky Alhambra BTFR that was ordered last year towards a store credit that I hope to offset the earrings purchase. As earrings are notoriously hard to come by, I am open to get them from my local store (let's say Store A) rather than waiting for overseas travel/holiday as I already have a prior relationship with my SA.

Ever since I've expressed my interest to my SA, ~ 1.5 months have passed by and unfortunately no sign from either of these earrings came to my usual store. My SA even informed me for now all Alhambra pieces aren't available for any order/deposit. This week, exactly 2 days ago I received a text that the other VCA store nearby (let's say Store B) received VA diamonds earrings both in RG and YG, and if i was interested to have a look. I did not pay any visit given they were not my first choice but I was hopeful that perhaps the stocks were coming. True enough, earlier this afternoon was texted by my SA that they received a pair of VA diamond earrings and she has set it aside for me. Unfortunately, the pair received was in YG :'( and not in WG as I wanted. Even so, I've made an appointment to pay her a visit and to give it a try as I have never seen them before.

Lurking around the TPF, I understand that some member advised to check the online store whether the web Customer Service is able to see stocks across stores and help to look out for certain pieces, especially if there are no nearby VCA stores and perhaps for customer who does not have any prior relationship with certain store before. Out of curiosity, I tried calling them to ask if there were any stocks for VA Diamonds Pave Earrings in WG in our country in the late evening. I was expecting a usual no-stock answer however, shockingly the lady on the phone mentioned that from the system she could see that there WAS a pair of VA Diamonds Pave earrings available in Store B. She mentioned that it looked like the pair might've been reserved for their customer so she's asking whether I was comfortable purchasing online instead of going to the store, and promising to give me a call if they've received the same earrings.

I texted my SA to let her know - she was so surprised as she did not see that in the system the day before, she gave me the phone number of Store B and urged me to try calling to see if the earrings’ re still available. Initially I was not so convinced but in the end (also out of curiosity), I phoned Store B and managed to speak with a lady there who informed me that the pair of earrings was still available and not reserved for any of their clients. However, what turned me off was the fact that I had to come down to Store B to commit/purchase today (on the same day) in a couple of hours and she could not hold for me till tomorrow (!!!) due to scarcity etc etc etc. I thought this might be a norm where I din have any prior relationship or purchase history with Store B. In the end, told her that I would get back with my decision in the next 30 mins, i.e. if I could come down to proceed.

I re-texted my SA to let her know of the situation and perhaps to see if there's another leeway for transfer. She however tried to call Store B and was told that there were no VA Diamonds Pave earrings in WG available. Knowing i was conflicted, she told me that she did not mind for me to purchase from Store B given that's the exact pieces I've been wanting whilst she did not have any lead time for the same item to be received in Store A. She even offered to text her colleague in Store B (the lady on the phone with me) to send me a payment link so that I could put a deposit to secure the piece for tomorrow's viewing if I wasn't able to visit Store B earlier today. As I really needed more time to think about it and I really could not visit Store B earlier today, I've phoned back Store B to give it a pass for today and leave it to the fate to tomorrow if the earrings are still available before paying a visit.

Although the situation might be different in other VCA stores around the world together with supply/demand problems, I just wanted to gauge from the ladies here who own VA pave diamonds earrings (especially in WG) if you're able to let me know how long typically you're waiting for your earrings with your SA, i.e. ~ 3 months or longer than that? And also, if typically small Frivole pave diamonds in RG with Pink Sapphire also harder to come by these days?

I love the look of the Toy Lou Lou and mini Camera Bag but they are on the tight squeeze size. Pre - kids they fit my essentials perfectly (phone, keys, cards, sunglasses in soft case, and a few little makeup items/lotion.)

I just realized that the refurbishment option right now only included black Classic Flaps.
Probably due to colour availability. You always have black while you would need to all the different seasonal shades…
Does any of you know if (and when) Chanel as any plans to open refurbishment also for seasonal coloured classic Flaps..??
