My mom is going to France next month and since the prices are cheaper there, I asked her to get me a new long wallet. Has anyone bought the Dior slim saddle wallet below and if so, what are your thoughts? If so, what are the pros and cons and is it a wallet worth to buy? I’m having trouble finding reviews on this particular wallet but love the look. I’m not a particular fan of the saddle bag but I like the aesthetic of the wallet. Thanks in advance!

I have a appt with my SA on Tuesday to look at SSRTW, the 95.22, and the new book tote with the Paris map motif. I’ve also been eyeing the mini Caro in macrocannage (pictured). I’m searching for a bag to take on my travels. I currently use a Prada Re-edition nylon bag, as I’m afraid of bringing one of my more fragile bags. I love the Paris map motif, but book tote quality issues scare me. The Caro looks gorgeous in pics, but I’m afraid it may be a tad small. Would love to hear thoughts ☺️

I see very vintage (from ‘60s or ‘70s) H croc bags for sale, and I find them more appealing than new H croc or alligator.
Some have very evident issues, like wear at the bottom or corners.
How are bags in these condition really wearable? If you have vintage croc, would you mind sharing pics and your experiences regarding wear?

I’m looking at getting the “new” favorite in bicolor cream/dove. I tried looking for discussions on this bag but couldn’t find any. Does anyone have it and could provide your opinions? Looking for something not too big, everyday type bag.

I have the opportunity to purchase either of these two rings from a reputable preloved seller for a good price.
However, one needs to be sized up one size and the other needs to be sized down one size.

Hi TPFers! Just need a bit of advice... I bought a gorgeous pair of LV Charlie sneakers (pink logo) and just need advice on any pre-use care such as water repellent, sprays or the like? I'd really love to keep them as pretty as i can but would also like to avoid any yellowing as ive heard some sprays can do this to white leather.

I have a question; when we purchase a silver piece from Tiffany, they put it in a blue box with a white satin bow. When we buy Tiffany gold, do we get a fancier blue box? Or is it a black velvet box? Hi, I’m looking to getting my first Hermes bracelet. I don’t really wear jewellery, but I love the look of clic H in crème and the black kdt with gold hardware. I’m looking for something that is durable that I don’t need to baby. I’m the type of person to stress about damaging the item.

I’ve heard the clic H can wear - scratches etc. I’ve not read many negatives on the kdt.

I’ve been obsessing over the pink small Medusa and then today I saw it in orange on Nordstroms. I might have more outfits to pair with the orange, but really they are pretty much interchangeable. I’m very torn, both are so fun!

I’m looking to purchase a large canvas tote, but worry about it getting dirty. I would mainly use it as a beach bag. Has anyone washed/cleaned their bag with good results? I hate to always buy a dark color.

This is sad...heart attack?

I have been on the hunt for a Classic Jumbo SHW for a few months now. After receiving a 13 series single flap that was extremely misrepresented by TRR (they approved my return), I found a 16 series double flap from a private seller. The condition is immaculate! It doesn’t seem like it has been used. I spent $5100 on it, which is still over my budget, but it was only $600 more than another 13 series single flap that I was looking at that had more wear. When I finally received the 16 series double flap, everything was perfect except for the fact that it was dull and dry. The reason why I was even on the hunt for a Jumbo in the first place was because of my aunt’s shiny Jumbo that almost blinded me last Christmas. I am now debating on what to do. On one hand, I am inclined to keep it because of the price and condition. On the other hand, it is really not what I expected.

I did a deep dive on the 16 series batch, even reading posts back from 2012, and everyone seem to hate it. I did notice though that some more recent series are kinda similar to my 16 series. I am wondering, is there anyone out there who likes the more matte, dry, stiff, not as puffy, not as black bag (16 series or the more recent ones like this)?

I was wondering if anyone knew how long the cross body strap is for the new saigon mini trunk? I know it's adjustable but was wondering min and max lengths?
