Can someone please tell me if the Medium LH le pliage tote (previously called the small long handle) is now larger than it used to be. I've seem on Utube it being said that the size has increased. My bags are a few years old with one pocket in this size so I'm wondering if the new ones with the two pockets are larger. Your help is so appreciated!

Hi! I’m debating between the mini and the regular size flamenco to use crossbody. Currently, switch between the Hermes Evelyne PM and an LV pouchette accessories with a crossbody strap.

The LV Pouchette accessories is a bit too small as I domes have to carry multiple phones with my essentials. The Evelyne has more than enough room, but can get heavy quickly. I’m looking for something in between the Evie and pouchette.

I’m unable to try either size out in person. On the daily, I carry a compact wallet, LV key pouch, lip balm, hand lotion, and at least one phone. Is there much of a difference between the weight of the mini vs regular flamenco?

I’m trying to choose a Fendi First small and would love thoughts on a few colors. I want a color that transitions from day to night to get good use out of it. i have the Bottega Jodie in Almond so want to avoid a color that looks similarish. I liked the dove gray as it’s quite neutral. Though it looks different in person (see the pic on me )

I was also eyeing the mint green and blue but they feel day time only and also a lil specific in terms of pairing.

Had a little trip to London on Tuesday with the sole purpose of going to Gucci and buying a bag. Would just like to report here that I had a fabulous time at the Gucci Bond Street store. Met a lovely CA and spent about an hour choosing which bag I wanted. Came home with a bag I hadn’t considered as I didn’t like it online, but in person I loved it. I was offered champagne but I chose a soft drink, and just felt really special and well looked after. I would highly recommend the Bond Street store, especially on a week day. This is my second Gucci bag, and I love them. Might even get a third next year. Would also like to add, the box I was given was much bigger than the bag needed, but unlike LV who just put the bag in a dust bag and then the box, Gucci pack the box with paper and the bag doesn’t just slide all over the place, attention to detail, which I like.

Bought a dusty pink small Gucci marmont in Europe store last week. Few details on it are making me worry if i've been given a defective manufactured piece.
First off is the code, its usually behind the tag. But my tag is sewn in and the number is on a piece of leather inside the zip closure. And there's a dot between numbers.
Second is the GG logo. Compared to pictures on Gucci websites and YouTube videos, mine seems a little off.
Is there anyone out there with the same issues as me? Should I be concerned. I am super worried at this point.
All opinions, suggestions, help is very much appreciated.

I'm a diehard Anthropologie fan, but this season's summer dresses aren't for me. I wear a medical device on my abdomen, and anything tight around my waistline is extremely unflattering. I love dresses with a loose elastic or tie waist that have a bit of a blouson effect (see Gap dress below), but Anthro's offerings this season are either shapeless tents or have wide, tight bands or smocking around the waist. Any tips for brands I should seek out? I'm either a small or extra small in size if that helps at all. Thanks for the advice, kind folks!

I met with SA at audemar piguet last week. Over all, it was pleasure experienced. She put my name on waiting list for 34mm two tone and stainless steel. I asked her how long is the wait? She said it not about how long, it more about building the relationship, she then gave example like I should check in with her often to show that I’m still interested to the piece or make her remember who I am. is the classic flap worth it in 2023? I have other chanel bags but don't have the CF or a woc.
the cf is my favourite but im just not sure I feel comfortable spending that amount of money, im scared ill regret it later down the line.
on the other hand im scared ill buy the woc and wish id just gone for the cf before another price increase.
They've already had a price increase since I first seriously considered one so im paying £1000 more already from being unsure.

Looking at various types of bags but I'm at a bit of a loss at to what print I could wear with everything and something I won't have to baby if exposed to sunscreen etc.

I just purchased my mini Anjou from FP. However, I’m having a hard time figuring out if it’s fake or not. I compared it to my St. Louis tote, but I still can’t tell. Plus, the latter I have had since 2015 so o can’t tell what changed in quality since having it. Here are some pics! I’ve watched a YouTube video of someone explaining the difference between the real vs. fake….still didn’t help me. Also I noticed on my Anjou, that the white part didn’t look so much like a crisp white like my St. Louis. Unless it’s just me. I wanted to figure it out soon so I can return if needed! Thanks!

As vacation season is getting closer, I think of which bag to bring to our greece trip in June.
Im a super light skin type and always have to use sunscreen.

How are your experiences when it comes to the canvas bags and leather parts: Will it damage the surface when for example my arm touches the bag whole time while wearing crossbody / shoulder carried? Is it as delicate as with the hand sanitizers??
I have no glue and dont want to ruin a bag (and my vacay )! TIA

Finally bought my grail - a medium Puzzle at LOEWE La Rinascente at the Piazza del Duomo in Milano, Italy.

Our Sales Consultant was amazing!* She pulled out the medium sand from the back. I totally forgot about this colour and was almost ready to purchase the caramel. Offered us bottled water. Held my bag while we went to visit the duomo.

The VAT refund office is Global Blue on the 6th floor. I used my US passport (triple citizen) because of my current residence.**

Since I was flying out of Switzerland, I had to get the stamp there. I took the train from Milano to Switzerland. Got off at Chiasso station, walked to the tax refund office, got my digital stamp, then continued on another train.

At the Zürich airport, I submitted the stamped form and receipt. I opted to have the refund back to a credit card. It does say on the form if exiting Italy, only cash is available.

That’s it! So glad I finally made the purchase and with a VAT refund, to boot.

Original price - 2800€
VAT refund to card - 336€ (~12%)

**I read that somehow US Customs finds out if you’ve claimed any VAT refund so I declared it (I always declare anyway so was prepared to pay duties) but the Customs Officer didn’t make me pay any duties. YMMV.

I'm yet to purchase a Saint Laurent but the Manhattan shoulder bag has caught my eye; specifically in black. I like the silhouette and size but I'm uncertain about the leather. I would typically go for something with a small grain as I find it's more forgiving and robust. The Manhattan shoulder is available in smooth or shiny croc-embossed style leather.
Has anyone got either and can speak to the quality and ability to endure gentle "life". I have a toddler and am out and about all the time. It'll be used for daily activities (cafes, shopping, play dates, trips to the playground). I'm pretty careful with my bags but don't want to feel like I'm constantly worrying about it.
- Is the smooth prone to scratches (rings, fingernails?). Does it leave fingerprints on the leather?
- Is the croc-embossed so shiny it's glaringly obvious? (I'm after something stylish but not obtrusive).
- Anyone comment on wear and tear after a year or so?
- Anyone around 5'3/163cms and have try on/mod shots?

I'm not close to a store so can't try on/see in person unfortunately.
